QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

As a Black man, I strongly oppose taxpayer funding for elective abortion. Planned Parenthood’s founder, Margaret Sanger, was an outspoken eugenicist who launched the Negro Project to expand birth control in Black communities and spoke to the KKK Women’s Auxiliary. Today, Black women receive the largest share of reported abortions, and many Planned Parenthood facilities are located near Black and Hispanic communities. That history demands scrutiny, not taxpayer support.

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

I oppose elective abortion. However, when a pregnancy creates an immediate and serious threat to the mother’s life and there is no reasonable way to save both mother and child, physicians should be able to provide the medically necessary treatment required to save her life, even if the pregnancy unfortunately cannot continue. I do not view that the same as an elective abortion; the goal is to preserve as much life as medically possible.

Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.

Strongly Agree

I believe the fundamental right to life should not depend upon a person’s age, development, ability, health, or circumstances. History has repeatedly shown the danger of allowing governments or societies to determine that certain human lives have less value than others. Our laws should consistently recognize and protect the inherent dignity of human life from conception to natural death.

The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.

Strongly Agree

The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.

Strongly Agree

Laws mean little if they are not enforced. If a state has chosen through its laws to protect unborn children from abortion, another state should not be able to circumvent those protections by shipping abortion-inducing drugs across state lines. States should have the ability to enforce their own laws, and federal law should not be ignored simply because its application is politically controversial.

ECONOMY

What is your position on the minimum wage?

Minimum wage has a role, but raising it without addressing the cost of living treats the symptom, not the cause. We must lower costs, not fuel an endless wage-price cycle.

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

Competition breeds progress, innovation, and opportunity. Private property and free enterprise give people the freedom and incentive to build, invest, create, and improve their lives. Socialism assumes people will work just as hard for what they do not own as for what they do own, while history shows that individual ownership, competition, and economic freedom have helped make America the world’s leading economic power.

List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.

My top priorities are auditing every agency for waste, fraud, abuse, and duplicated services; requiring sunset reviews so outdated programs must justify continued funding; reforming government contracts to prevent inflated costs and favoritism; tying future funding to measurable results; and eliminating unnecessary bureaucracy. Government should treat every taxpayer dollar with the same discipline families and small businesses are forced to use every day.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

To me, separation of church and state means government cannot establish an official religion or use churches to enact or enforce laws. However, that does not require the government to deny the religious foundations that shaped a nation. I believe America was founded on deeply Christian principles and should be free to acknowledge that heritage, while still protecting the religious liberty of every citizen, including those of other faiths or no faith at all.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

No. Full stop. Take religion out of it: would we force a vegetarian catering company to serve meat against its principles? Of course not. America is a nation of abundance, with countless businesses capable of meeting consumers’ needs. No one should be forced to violate sincerely held moral or religious convictions simply because someone prefers their service. Freedom must include the right to say no; otherwise, it is not truly freedom.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options.

The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.

Agree

I support collecting this information with strong privacy protections. Knowing what taxpayers and the healthcare system spend treating chronic illnesses can help identify where resources are being consumed and where research could have the greatest impact. Used responsibly, that data could help us focus on prevention, treatment, and cures that improve lives while strategically reducing long-term healthcare costs.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

The CCP is a serious military, cyber, economic, and espionage threat. We have already seen suspected Chinese intelligence operatives gain access to Democratic political circles, including one who cultivated ties with Rep. Eric Swalwell, and a former New York state official charged with secretly acting for the PRC. We must secure our government, supply chains, technology, and intellectual property while putting American interests first.

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

Yes, but our relationship with Israel, like every foreign alliance, should serve American interests first. Cooperation with Israel can strengthen intelligence, counterterrorism, regional stability, and resistance to hostile powers. However, I do not support unconditional aid to Israel—or any nation. American tax dollars and military support should only be committed when there is a clear, direct benefit to the security and interests of the United States.

IMMIGRATION

I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.

Strongly Disagree

As the son of immigrants who came to this country legally, I believe our immigration laws should mean something. Sanctuary policies that deliberately obstruct federal immigration enforcement undermine the rule of law and disrespect those who followed the legal process. States or cities that refuse reasonable cooperation with federal authorities should risk losing federal funding. Taxpayers should not subsidize defiance of federal law.

EDUCATION

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Agree

I believe too much education funding is consumed by bureaucracy and people far removed from the classroom. More control should be returned to states and local communities, with resources directed toward teachers, principals, and administrators who work with students every day and understand their needs firsthand. Education dollars should follow results in the classroom, not grow another layer of Washington bureaucracy.

Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.

Strongly Agree

Foreign governments should have no role in shaping the education of American students. Allowing foreign funding into our schools creates an obvious risk of influence, propaganda, and the promotion of anti-American ideas. Money from governments almost always comes with expectations attached. American education should be accountable to American parents, teachers, communities, and taxpayers—not foreign powers with their own political interests.

VALUES

Government should recognize and support the fundamental right and essential duty of parents to direct their child's health and educational well-being.

Strongly Agree

Children belong to their parents and families—not the government. Parents have the primary responsibility and right to direct their child’s education, healthcare, and upbringing. Government may have a limited role in protecting children from genuine harm, but it should never replace parents as the primary decision-makers. If we surrender that principle, we surrender one of the most fundamental freedoms of family life.

Attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex constitute child abuse.

Strongly Agree

This is fundamentally different from simply educating or raising a child according to a parent’s values. Children cannot fully understand or consent to every lifelong consequence of irreversible medical interventions. I oppose surgeries or treatments that permanently alter a child’s healthy body for gender transition. Children deserve compassion, counseling, and time to mature before making decisions that could affect them for the rest of their lives.

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Strongly Agree

I believe marriage, as ordained by God, is the sacred union of one man and one woman. At the same time, same-sex marriage is already legal nationwide, and I recognize that as the current law. My personal and religious convictions on marriage remain unchanged, but I do not believe government should endlessly relitigate settled questions while families face more immediate challenges.

I support the expansion of gambling in my state.

Strongly Disagree

I believe gambling is a cancer on society. It profits from addiction, destroys families, drains household income, and creates social costs that often fall back on taxpayers. Government should not become dependent on revenue generated by people losing money. Economic growth should come from productive businesses, jobs, and investment—not from expanding an industry that too often profits from desperation.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior, and my faith is the foundation of my values and how I try to live my life. I will not compromise my beliefs for political convenience or public approval. At the same time, I do not believe faith should be forced on anyone. I will respect the freedom of others to believe differently while remaining faithful to my own convictions.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

I believe arguments against basic voter ID requirements are often disingenuous. We accept showing ID to board a plane, receive certain government benefits, open accounts, or purchase restricted products without calling it unreasonable. Voting is at least as important. Requiring identification is a commonsense safeguard that protects election integrity, public confidence, and every lawful vote from fraud or abuse.

EQUALITY

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.

Disagree

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

Nuclear energy. It provides reliable, around-the-clock power, uses little land, and is not dependent on weather. As electricity demand grows, nuclear should be central to an energy strategy focused on affordability, reliability, and independence.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

I believe in limited government, fiscal responsibility, free enterprise, secure borders, strong national defense, parental rights, religious liberty, the protection of innocent life, and individual freedom. Government should defend our rights, enforce the law, protect the nation, and then get out of the way so families, communities, churches, and businesses can thrive without unnecessary interference.

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

No

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

No

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

What should be the goal of the criminal justice system?

The goal of the criminal justice system should be to prevent crime, protect the innocent, and hold offenders accountable. Punishment should be proportionate to the offense, deter future crime, and provide justice for victims. Rehabilitation has a role when appropriate, but public safety and accountability must come first.

Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.

Strongly Agree

Sharia law should not be accepted or incorporated in any form within the legal framework of the United States.

Strongly Agree

The United States has one constitutional legal system, and no religious code should override it. Every American is free to practice their faith, but our courts and laws must remain governed by the Constitution, federal and state law, and equal protection under the law—not by Sharia law or any other religious legal system.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

I support the right of law-abiding Americans to own firearms, while recognizing reasonable safeguards for public safety. I support background checks, valid identification, firearm registration, and basic gun-safety training. These measures can help keep weapons away from dangerous individuals and promote responsible ownership without stripping constitutional rights from citizens who follow the law.
