In tragic situations involving rape, incest, or serious medical necessity, I believe those deeply personal decisions should be between a woman, her doctor, and her Maker.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
The church and the state have different duties. The church cannot govern, and the state cannot provide salvation. However, the church has both the right and responsibility to speak truth and call out moral wrongs in government, as seen in decisions like Dred Scott v. Sanford and Roe v. Wade.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

We have individual freedom in this country, and the Constitution protects both religious liberty and freedom of conscience. Government should recognize and defend those rights.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
Healthcare is not a proper function of the federal government. While we must protect those currently dependent on Medicare and Medicaid, long term solutions should restore individual freedom and free-market competition. Reform should not harm seniors or families who have paid into the system.
The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.
