Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
There is no reason for an elective abortion. All life should be protected, especially the most innocent and defenseless lives in our society.

What is your position on the minimum wage?
I don't believe a minimum wage is necessary. The free market should be allowed to operate with the least government intervention necessary, and the free market is the best way to set wages within the marketplace.
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Fraud, waste, and abuse of government funds is rampant, and strong steps need to be taken to find the bad actors and enforce accountability. We need to reduce state taxes and I support a complete elimination of the state income tax. We need more reform within our Medicaid system to make sure only those who need it most are given access and the medical services paid for by Medicaid are legitimate and necessary. RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
It means the state should not mandate religion, and it does not allow the state to remove religion. Religion and the freedom to worship should be protected. I believe God established government and as elected officials we should recognize him and honor him in how we serve his people as public servants.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.

I'm suspicious of any government database for any reason, and I absolutely do not believe government should be involved in anyone's personal medical decisions nor should they be tracking anyone's medical conditions to determine the economic burden of treatment.
NATIONAL SECURITY
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

China is a real and dangerous threat to our country on many fronts. We should remain vigilant to stop their access at every level.
Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?
Yes, Israel is our greatest ally in the Middle East. Furth more, God's Word instructs us to pray for peace in Israel and I believe we should defend them.

I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

This is a growing problem in our county. As a man of faith, I believe we are all fearfully and wonderfully made by our creator who created us with a plan and purpose for our lives. He did not make any mistakes in creating us, and any attempt to pervert his plan for our lives - including an attempt to convince a child they are not good enough the way God created them is a problem.

I was raised Catholic and I am active in my faith. I am a strong conservative who believes in limited government and empowering the people. I believe in Regan's statement that "freedom is but one generation away from extinction" and we must defend the values of our Founding Fathers and our Constitution.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Voting is one of the greatest rights and responsibilities of our citizens. We must ensure we protect our elections process and that only verified, legal citizens are voting in our elections.
EQUALITY
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

We should oppose all forms of discrimination based on race, gender, age, etc... All people should be given equal opportunities to be who they want to be and to pursue the all American dream of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

It's sad this is even a debate. Men and woman are not the same. We have our God given differences that should be celebrated. No person's desire to "identify" themselves in a different manner is actually able to change their true gender.

Nuclear is a very efficient and clean way to fulfill the growing demand for electricity. As a Louisiana man, I also recognize and value the abundance of natural gas we have under our soil that can help to fill the need for more electricity.

What should be the goal of the criminal justice system?
The goal should be to reform men and women who have committed crimes into people who can be returned to society to become productive members of society. I do not believe our current criminal justice system does a good job.
Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.

The online world can be very dangerous for children and a cesspool for predators. We must protect our children from all forms of exploitation.
