1786 Letter Thomas Jefferson wrote to influence the Anglican Church in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Not a legal precedence. Frustratingly misquoted. Misapplied. Free exercise of religion is enshrined in the First Amendment from 1791. Free exercise of religion is protected from federal government overreach. Think COVID response of locking church doors. This NEVER should have happened and when I am elected U.S. Senator I will extend RFRA Law 103-141 to protect our churches.

Crucial. Genesis 12:3 God (YHWH) honors those that honor His people. I have worshiped in Nazareth, Israel in the synagogue of Jesus and the Garden Tomb on three different visits to Israel. I see Israel through a Biblical lens and a pragmatic one as well. As a disciple of Jesus Christ I am commanded to honor His chosen people, which I do through financial support and fellowship with Orthodox Jews in Shabbat in their homes in Hebron, Israel and here in the U.S.

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. I led a Fortune 100 Financial Services company transformation for its $30B+ pension fund. My team fixed the clients' bloat, waste and technical inefficiency and created projected savings of 30% or $9B+ over 10 years. What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
Mental health checks. Domestic disturbance checks. Felony checks. Unfortunately, my 29 year old son Tyran, struggled with mental illness and was legally able to purchase a gun and died from a self-inflicted gun shot wound. Mental health and domestic disturbance checks make sense. But, lets not stop there. Mass shootings and school shootings grow when the Church of Jesus Christ recedes. Public prayer and school prayer should flourish to address the spiritual dimension of this issue!

Minister Trudy Johnson raised me Pentecostal Charismatic and would anoint me with oil and pray and prophesy over me as I slept in my bed. I grew from a shy, thin, stuttering, fear-filled boy who could barely look people in their eyes into a high school Valedictorian, U.S. Air Force Academy graduate, selected by the C.I.A. to study Space Transportation and build spy satellites onto a lecturer to MBA students around the globe. Jesus Christ is more than just my Savior, He is my Redeemer from rejection, He is my Courage over the bondage of fear, He is my Eloquent Emmanuel over stammering! He is God!
