QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.

Strongly Agree

The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

All human life is sacred. Only if there is a mortal risk / certainty that a mother's life will be ended if nothing is done, should the removal of an unborn child be considered—and that is after assuming that all medical wisdom, skill, and options have been explored to preserve both lives in the first place.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Disagree

The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.

Strongly Agree

ECONOMY

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

People who can afford to pay more taxes should do so in order to provide relief for working families.

Disagree

It's hard to answer this objectively. How can we define "who can afford?" That's hard to answer. The people who seemingly can "afford to pay more taxes" often have made their wealth by providing goods and services that are valuable to working families. Also, what does it mean to "provide relief"? It's important that we look for solutions to alleviate the burdens of working families. However, the way we often try to resolve the issue by simply tax-burdening creators of wealth is obtuse.

The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.

Strongly Agree

Interest on our national debt hit $970B in FY2025—more than what we spent on defense. It's the fastest-growing budget category, projected to reach $1.8T by 2035. Every dollar spent on interest is a dollar we can't invest in infrastructure, tax relief, etc. We're paying for yesterday's spending instead of today's priorities—and the longer we wait, the fewer options we'll have. This isn't a partisan topic, but a math problem…we need leaders willing to have honest conversations about spending.

List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.

1. Eliminate systematic fraud in federally-funded NGOs and public assistance programs. 2. Modernize outdated govt systems using AI and automation to reduce expensive contractor bloat / unlock cost savings. 3. Implement sunset provisions like Texas's Sunset Advisory Commission, which has abolished 95 agencies and saved Texans $1 billion by requiring programs to continually prove their worth and demonstrate results. 4. Cut general bureaucracy that self-serves the government—not people.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

Our founders—many devout Christians—intended to prevent federal control of religion, not to purge faith from public life. Government shouldn't impose religion, but neither should it be hostile to it: and yet, we see hostility throughout the government today. Our country was founded upon classical liberalism—a philosophy emphasizing natural rights and limited government—and shaped heavily by religious thinkers. This heritage is woven into our legal and social order. Ripping it out risks disarray.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

C. I support maintaining Medicare and Medicaid for those who truly need them, while pursuing reforms to ensure long-term sustainability. I am against expansion into government-run universal healthcare. The private market, when allowed to compete, delivers innovation and better care. Rather than new taxpayer-funded programs, we should reduce costs through transparency, competition, and removal of bureaucratic barriers. Patients and doctors—not Washington—should make healthcare decisions.

The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.

Disagree

NATIONAL SECURITY

With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.

B. Our selective engagement to support democracies and counter tyranny has produced lasting, important alliances. Complete disengagement leads to chaos (our Afghanistan exit demonstrated how quickly vacuums fill with hostile actors). American leadership, applied strategically, protects our interests and strengthens allies who share our values. Supporting and prioritizing "America First" does not mean disengagement from the world and our strategic allies.

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

Absolutely. Israel is our most important ally in the Middle East and the region's only liberal democracy. They share our values, provide invaluable intelligence cooperation, and stand with us against threats like Iran. They've consistently stood by our side against Middle Eastern terrorism. As we navigate an increasingly dangerous world, strengthening ties with allies who share our values is essential—and our strategic relationship with Israel must remain ironclad.

Islamic terrorism is a threat to the United States' national security.

Strongly Agree

IMMIGRATION

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

We should shift to a merit-based immigration system. Roughly 65% of green cards go to family-based chain migration, while only 14% go to employment-based immigrants. We need to flip this. America should prioritize the best and brightest: immigrants selected for their skills, education, and what they can contribute to America. We should welcome those who want to embrace our values, contribute to our economy, and assimilate into our American society, while excluding anyone with a criminal record.

I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.

Strongly Disagree

EDUCATION

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Strongly Agree

The Department of Education has grown into a bureaucratic controller rather than a resource for states. We should dramatically reduce its scope—eliminating mandates, returning control to states, and empowering parents through school choice. We should block-grant federal funds directly to states. Any remaining federal role should be limited to data collection and reporting, not mandates or curriculum control. Education decisions belong with parents, teachers, and local communities.

Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.

Strongly Agree

VALUES

Attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex constitute child abuse.

Strongly Agree

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Strongly Agree

I agree with the first sentence, as this is the Biblical definition of marriage. While the Government has the authority to establish legal civil unions between human adult couples, this does not change the Biblical definition of marriage.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a devout, Evangelical Christian who believes that the Bible is God's word and teaches us how to love others well and reflect God's grace, love, and holiness.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

EQUALITY

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

Traditional oil and gas remain our most reliable energy sources. While I'm optimistic about renewables long-term, many remain inefficient at scale. Subsidies for inefficient energy distort markets and prevent the best operators from winning.

ABOUT YOU

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

No

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

No

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.

Strongly Agree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

Law-abiding citizens have the constitutional right to keep and bear arms. Current law already prohibits criminals and the dangerously mentally ill from owning firearms—we should enforce existing laws before creating new ones. The answer to violence isn't restricting responsible gun owners; it's addressing mental health, strengthening families, and restoring respect for human life. We can defend the Constitution while taking responsible steps to protect communities.
