QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.

Strongly Agree

I strongly agree. Human life has inherent value and deserves legal protection from conception until natural death. A just society protects its most vulnerable, including the unborn, the disabled, and the elderly. I support policies that defend life while also expanding support for mothers, families, adoption, and community-based solutions that honor both compassion and accountability.

The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.

Strongly Agree

I strongly agree. Human embryos created through artificial means are human lives and deserve protection from purposeful destruction. Advancing science should never come at the cost of our moral responsibility to protect life. We can pursue medical innovation while upholding ethical boundaries that respect human dignity.

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

I do not believe elective abortion should be allowed. Human life deserves protection, and abortion should not be treated as a form of birth control. Medical care necessary to save a mother’s life is not elective and should be handled by doctors, but elective abortion ends a human life and should not be permitted.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Disagree

I disagree. Taxpayer funds should not go to abortion providers. Public dollars should never support organizations tied to abortion. Women deserve access to preventive care, exams, and family planning through community health centers and providers that respect life and do not perform or promote abortion.

The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.

Agree

I agree. Laws passed by Congress should be enforced as written unless changed through the legislative process. If the Comstock Act remains on the books, it should be applied consistently. Allowing executive agencies to ignore or selectively enforce the law undermines the Constitution and the rule of law.

ECONOMY

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

I agree. Free enterprise and private property are the foundation of economic growth, innovation, and personal freedom. When individuals and small businesses are allowed to build, invest, and succeed without excessive government interference, communities prosper and opportunity expands. Government should protect these rights, not restrict them.

People who can afford to pay more taxes should do so in order to provide relief for working families.

Disagree

I disagree. A strong economy is built on fairness, not punishment for success. Everyone should contribute at the same rate, and government should focus on creating jobs, lowering costs, and rewarding work—not expanding dependency. Assistance should be targeted to those truly in need, while policies encourage self-reliance and opportunity.

The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.

Agree

I agree. Reducing the national debt requires serious spending discipline, not across-the-board cuts that hurt working families. Congress must eliminate waste, fraud, and abuse, prioritize core responsibilities, and demand accountability for every taxpayer dollar. Responsible government means funding what works and ending what doesn’t.

List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.

My priorities would include eliminating fraud, abuse, and waste in federal spending; restoring strict oversight of grants and contracts; and ending foreign aid that lacks accountability or does not clearly serve U.S. interests. I would also push to rein in unelected bureaucracies, audit duplicative programs, and reform assistance programs so help goes to those truly in need—not those exploiting the system.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Disagree

I disagree. No individual or business should be forced by the government to act against deeply held moral or religious beliefs. Religious liberty is a core American freedom. Clear communication and transparency can help avoid conflict, but no one should be compelled to choose between their livelihood and their conscience.

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

Separation of church and state means the government may not establish or control a religion, not that people of faith must be excluded from public life. Faith has always shaped our laws, culture, and sense of right and wrong. Religious Americans should be free to live out their beliefs without government interference.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

I most closely align with option C. Medicaid and Medicare should remain available for seniors and those truly in need, but the system requires major reform. We must eliminate fraud and abuse, stop benefits for those not lawfully eligible, restore patient choice, and rein in insurance practices that drive up costs through excessive premiums, deductibles, and co-pays.

The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.

Disagree

I disagree. The government can assess healthcare costs using anonymized, aggregate data without tracking individuals by medical condition. Creating databases of people’s ongoing illnesses raises serious privacy and civil liberty concerns and invites abuse. Cost control should focus on transparency, fraud prevention, and system reform—not government surveillance of patients.

NATIONAL SECURITY

With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.

I most closely align with option B. The United States should act with strength and moral clarity, but also with restraint. We should selectively support countries defending freedom when it aligns with U.S. interests and national security, while avoiding endless wars, blank checks, and foreign entanglements that weaken our sovereignty.

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Agree

I agree. This should not be confused with the Chinese people or legitimate diplomatic and trade relationships. The Chinese Communist Party poses real risks to U.S. security, intellectual property, and economic independence. Addressing those threats does not mean ending trade, but it does require stronger protections, fair competition, and incentives to rebuild American manufacturing. We must reduce reliance on adversarial regimes while keeping markets competitive and secure.

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

Yes. The United States’ relationship with Israel is critically important. Israel is a key democratic ally in a volatile region, a strategic partner for U.S. security, and a nation that shares our values of freedom and self-defense. A strong alliance promotes stability, deters terrorism, and advances American interests.

Islamic terrorism is a threat to the United States' national security.

Strongly Agree

Yes. Islamist terrorism is a real and ongoing threat to U.S. national security. The government’s responsibility is to protect Americans from the threat that comes from extremist ideologies, not peaceful individuals. The United States must enforce strong border security, immigration and vetting policies, and ensure that those who enter our country respect our laws and freedoms. National security must always come first.

IMMIGRATION

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

The United States should welcome lawful immigrants who respect our laws, contribute to our economy, and intend to assimilate into American society. Immigration must be merit-based and orderly. Government assistance should not incentivize dependency; newcomers should be self-sufficient and prepared to support themselves while building a life here.

I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.

Strongly Disagree

I strongly disagree. Sanctuary cities undermine the rule of law and public safety by shielding individuals who are in the country illegally. Immigration laws should be enforced consistently, and local governments should cooperate with federal authorities—not obstruct them. Accountability and safety must come first.

EDUCATION

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Agree

I agree. Education outcomes have declined despite decades of growing federal control. Decisions about curriculum, standards, and priorities are best made by states, local communities, and parents—not Washington bureaucracies. Returning authority closer to families allows for accountability, flexibility, and solutions that actually work.

Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.

Agree

I agree. American education should be accountable to students, parents, and taxpayers—not influenced by foreign governments. Foreign funding raises serious concerns about transparency, security, and outside influence. If education institutions receive outside funds, it must be fully disclosed and tightly regulated to protect U.S. interests.

VALUES

Attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex constitute child abuse.

Strongly Agree

I strongly agree. Children deserve protection, not irreversible decisions they are too young to understand. Medical or social transitions for minors carry serious long-term consequences. Parents, doctors, and lawmakers have a duty to prioritize a child’s physical and mental well-being and to protect children from harm until they are adults.

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Neutral

I believe marriage is a sacred institution, and people of faith should be free to uphold their beliefs without government interference. At the same time, the role of government is not to regulate personal relationships but to protect individual liberty. The Constitution limits government power, and personal decisions should be made by individuals, families, and faith communities—not Washington.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I believe in God and in Jesus Christ, and that we are accountable to Him for how we live our lives. My faith teaches humility, responsibility, forgiveness, and compassion. I believe in helping others, especially when nothing is expected in return, standing up for what is right even when it is difficult, and striving to live with integrity. Faith is not about perfection, but about accountability, grace, and doing better.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

I strongly disagree. Secure elections require photo identification to verify identity and protect the integrity of the vote. Voting is a fundamental right, and safeguarding it ensures confidence, fairness, and equal treatment under the law. Requiring ID is a reasonable and common-sense measure.

EQUALITY

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

I strongly agree. Women and girls deserve fairness, safety, and privacy in sports and in sex-segregated spaces. Allowing biological males into women’s athletics or private facilities undermines those protections. Policies should be based on biological reality and respect the rights and safety of women.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

No one source can reliably meet growing demand on its own. I believe in a mix that includes oil, natural gas, nuclear, and renewables like solar—used responsibly. Reliability, affordability, and resilience require backup systems and energy diversity.

ABOUT YOU

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

No. Never.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

No. Never.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

I am conservative in my values and constitutional principles, with a focus on personal responsibility, limited government, and accountability. I approach issues practically, guided by real-world experience and a belief that policy should serve people—not ideology.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.

Strongly Agree

I strongly agree. Protecting children from sexual exploitation online is a fundamental responsibility of government. This requires strong enforcement of existing laws, holding predators and platforms accountable, and ensuring technology is not used to harm children. Safeguarding children must always take precedence over profits or negligence.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

Public safety is best protected by enforcing existing laws, prosecuting violent criminals, and keeping firearms out of the hands of those who pose a real danger to others. Restrictions should focus on criminal behavior and mental health threats, not on law-abiding citizens exercising their constitutional rights. Accountability matters more than blanket bans.
