QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.
Strongly Agree
I believe that life begins at conception, when God creates a new person and imparts a soul. Because of this conviction, I am committed to protecting human life at every stage, recognizing the sacredness and dignity of each person created by God.
What role should the school serve in helping a student with an unwanted or crisis pregnancy?
I believe schools should provide compassionate support for students facing a crisis or unwanted pregnancy, helping them continue their education while protecting their dignity. I would ensure these students have access to counseling, resources, and flexible accommodations, all in a safe, nonjudgmental environment that affirms the value of both the student and their child.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
With regard to public schools, what does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
I believe separation of church and state means the government should not establish an official religion or force religious practice, not that faith must be excluded from public life. Individuals should be free to express their beliefs openly, and communities should be able to reflect shared moral values, so long as the government does not compel participation or endorsement. Protecting religious freedom—not silencing it—is the purpose of this principle.
ECONOMY
What is your position on government funding of public education from Pre-K through college?
I believe our public schools should be responsibly and adequately funded with a clear focus on student learning and classroom instruction. I support local control of education dollars so decisions are made by those closest to our students. Taxpayer funds should be used transparently and efficiently, prioritizing high-quality instruction and core academics while holding the system accountable to ensure every dollar truly benefits students.
Student loan forgiveness unfairly shifts the financial burden to those not responsible for student debt.
Agree
I believe broad student loan forgiveness unfairly shifts debt onto taxpayers who did not take on those loans or worked hard to repay them. I also believe higher education institutions share responsibility for rising tuition and costs, and blanket forgiveness fails to hold them accountable. Instead, we should focus on affordability, transparency, and cost control so students are not pushed into unsustainable debt in the first place.
IMMIGRATION
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) enhances the safety and security of communities by identifying and detaining illegal aliens.
Agree
EDUCATION
Abortion and gender-affirming providers, including Planned Parenthood, should be a resource for instruction or services in the school.
Strongly Disagree
Consequences for bad behavior create a safe and orderly environment, which is essential for student learning.
Strongly Agree
Educators should give students a thorough education in America's founding documents and cultivate American patriotism.
Strongly Agree
I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.
Strongly Agree
