QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
Elective abortion should not be permitted. Unborn human life has inherent value and deserves legal protection. Any policy must begin with respect for life, with only narrow exceptions for genuine, life-threatening medical emergencies. Compassion should never be used to justify the routine destruction of unborn children.
Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
I believe abortion policy should begin with the recognition that unborn life has value and deserves protection. As a general rule, elective abortion should not be permitted once a fetal heartbeat is detectable.
Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.
Strongly Agree
Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death, and our laws should reflect that principle while treating every situation with seriousness and compassion.
The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.
Agree
Human embryos created through artificial methods deserve protection from intentional destruction, and I support in vitro fertilization when it is practiced responsibly and with respect for human life.
The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.
Agree
The Comstock Act is federal law and should be enforced as long as it remains on the books. If it should be changed, Congress must do so transparently rather than ignoring it.
ECONOMY
What is your position on the minimum wage?
The most effective way to raise wages is through economic growth, workforce development, and pro-business policies that create competition for workers. The Government should focus on removing barriers to opportunity rather than mandating wages.
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
Free enterprise and strong private property rights are essential to a productive economy that rewards work, encourages innovation, creates opportunity, and builds long-term prosperity. When individuals can own property, start businesses, and invest without excessive government interference, communities grow stronger, wages rise, and economic freedom allows families to build wealth and security across generations.
List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.
My top priorities to eliminate government waste are to tie funding to measurable results rather than automatic increases, reduce administrative bloat by prioritizing frontline services over bureaucracy, and increase transparency so taxpayers can clearly see where public dollars go and whether programs are actually delivering real outcomes.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
Separation of church and state protects religious liberty by preventing government control of religion, not by excluding faith from public life. The Founders rejected a state church while recognizing that moral values inform law. Public institutions should remain neutral, neither suppressing faith nor becoming religious bodies.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
Individuals and businesses should not be compelled by the government to provide services that violate sincerely held moral or religious beliefs. Freedom of conscience is a foundational American principle. Equal access under the law must not mean coercing citizens to act against deeply held convictions.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
B. Government-funded insurance should be available alongside private options, preserving choice and competition. Coverage alone does not equal care. Policy should prioritize access to doctors, quality outcomes, transparency, and affordability rather than simply expanding bureaucratic insurance programs.
The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.
Strongly Disagree
Government may use aggregated and anonymized health data only with explicit consent and strict privacy protections. Individual medical data must never be collected or stored without permission. Data-driven policy must never come at the expense of privacy, civil liberties, or patient trust.
NATIONAL SECURITY
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Strongly Agree
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber, intellectual property, and economic threats to the United States. America must respond with strength by defending innovation, securing supply chains, countering espionage, and resisting economic dependence. Peace is preserved through strength, not appeasement.
Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?
Israel is a sovereign democratic ally whose security and survival matter to the United States. We should stand firmly with Israel against terrorism and regional threats, supporting its right to defend its borders, while maintaining an America-first focus on border security, economic strength, and public safety here at home.
IMMIGRATION
I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.
Strongly Disagree
I oppose sanctuary cities and soft-on-crime policies that undermine public safety and the rule of law. Unenforced border policies primarily benefit criminal organizations that exploit vulnerable people through trafficking, drugs, and violence. Enforcement should focus on criminals and repeat offenders, while Congress fulfills its duty to reform immigration law and create lawful, orderly pathways for productive individuals who follow the rules and contribute to our economy
EDUCATION
I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.
Agree
I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and returning authority to states and communities. It has become a federal student loan bank and data warehouse rather than a driver of classroom outcomes. Education decisions belong closer to parents, teachers, and students.
Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.
Agree
Foreign adversaries should not fund American educational institutions due to national security and intellectual property risks, particularly from China, Iran, and Russia. While international collaboration can occur with safeguards, universities must prioritize the interests of the United States and its citizens and protect sensitive research, innovation, and academic independence from foreign influence.
VALUES
Government should recognize and support the fundamental right and essential duty of parents to direct their child's health and educational well-being.
Strongly Agree
Parents have a fundamental right and duty to direct their children’s health care and education. Government should respect and support parental authority, intervening only in rare cases of genuine abuse or harm, not to impose ideology, override families, or substitute bureaucratic judgment for parental responsibility.
Attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex constitute child abuse.
Agree
Attempts to physically or socially transition children constitute child abuse. Children deserve protection, stability, and evidence-based care, not irreversible medical or social decisions driven by ideology rather than biology, long-term health data, and the best interests of the child.
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.
Agree
Marriage is a sacred union between one man and one woman and should not be redefined by government. Civil unions may exist for legal and contractual purposes, separate from the moral and religious definition of marriage, while preserving equal protection under the law without altering the institution itself.
I support the expansion of gambling in my state.
Agree
I support limited, tightly regulated gambling expansion to replace illegal back-alley operations with transparent, lawful activity. A small number of resort destinations can create jobs and economic growth while ensuring strong oversight, consumer protections, and enforcement against organized crime and illegal gambling.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a Catholic who converted in my 20s. My faith informs my commitment to human dignity, family, personal responsibility, service to others, and respect for religious liberty. While my beliefs shape my values, I support a pluralistic society where freedom of conscience is protected for all.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
Requiring photo identification to vote is a reasonable safeguard to protect election integrity and public confidence. Many democracies, including European and Latin American countries, use voter ID to ensure lawful elections, prevent fraud, and maintain trust in the electoral process while preserving access for eligible voters.
EQUALITY
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.
Strongly Agree
Biological males should never compete in women’s sports or access women’s spaces. Allowing men into female athletics, locker rooms, shelters, or prisons undermines fairness, safety, and privacy, and represents a direct erosion of Title IX protections that were designed to protect women and girls. So-called "equality" should not require ignoring biological reality. Government policy must defend women’s rights, not sacrifice them to ideology.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.
Disagree
I disagree that urgent political mandates are required. Environmental improvements should be driven by free markets, innovation, and technological advancement rather than sweeping government control that raises costs, limits energy reliability, and harms working families and economic growth.
What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?
Fossil fuels remain the most reliable source to meet growing electricity demand, followed by nuclear power, and renewables serving a supplemental role.
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Conservative
Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.
No, I have never been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.
I have never been convicted of a felony.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
What should be the goal of the criminal justice system?
The goal of the criminal justice system is to protect public safety, hold offenders accountable, uphold the rule of law, and respect victims’ rights. Rehabilitation should be supported where appropriate, but justice must remain firm, fair, and focused on removing dangerous individuals from communities.
Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.
Strongly Agree
The government has a duty to protect children from online sexual exploitation by enforcing existing laws, holding predators and platforms accountable, and empowering parents with tools and information. These efforts must respect privacy, free speech, and due process while keeping the safety and well-being of children as a top public priority.
Sharia law should not be accepted or incorporated in any form within the legal framework of the United States.
Strongly Agree
Sharia law should never be accepted or incorporated into the U.S. legal system. American law must be governed solely by the Constitution and its guarantees of equal protection, due process, and individual liberty. The Founders drew heavily from the Western cultural and Christian moral tradition, which emphasized natural rights, human dignity, and equality before a single civil law. Sharia law is fundamentally incompatible with that tradition.
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
No new restrictions on lawful gun ownership are needed to protect public safety. The problem is not responsible gun owners but a failure to enforce existing laws. Public safety is achieved by aggressively prosecuting violent criminals, repeat offenders, and illegal gun traffickers. Burdening law-abiding citizens only weakens self-defense and erodes a fundamental constitutional right while doing nothing to stop crime.
