QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

Taxpayer money should never subsidize organizations that perform elective abortions. Public funds should be directed toward life-affirming healthcare and services that respect human dignity.

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

I oppose elective abortion. The law should protect innocent human life, while allowing lifesaving medical treatment for the mother in rare emergencies. We should respond to crisis pregnancies with compassion, support, and real alternatives that uphold life.

Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.

Strongly Agree

Human life is sacred and worthy of legal protection from conception until natural death. Government has a fundamental duty to defend innocent human life at every stage.

The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.

Strongly Agree

Human embryos created through IVF are human lives and deserve protection from intentional destruction. At the same time, public policy should recognize the complex and deeply personal situations families face and encourage ethical practices going forward—such as limiting excess embryo creation, promoting informed consent, and supporting voluntary embryo adoption—rather than coercive mandates.

The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.

Strongly Agree

Federal law should be enforced as written. States should not be able to use interstate shipment to undermine duly enacted state policy. Congress can clarify scope if needed, but the rule of law and state sovereignty must be respected.

ECONOMY

What is your position on the minimum wage?

I oppose government-mandated minimum wage hikes. Texas proves wages rise through competition, not mandates—many entry-level jobs already pay $15/hr or more. One-size-fits-all laws raise prices, hurt small businesses, and weaken local economies.

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

Free enterprise and private property are the foundation of innovation, job creation, and prosperity. When individuals own the results of their labor, ideas, and investment, markets function efficiently, opportunity expands, and wealth is created broadly. Government’s role is to protect property rights and enforce fair rules—not to control markets or micromanage economic outcomes. Strong property rights empower individuals, strengthen communities, and sustain long-term economic growth.

List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.

• Eliminate redundant and overlapping government programs • Require regular performance audits and sunset reviews of agencies • Reduce administrative bloat and unnecessary bureaucracy • End subsidies that pick winners and losers in the marketplace • Focus spending on core government functions with measurable outcomes

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

Separation of church and state means the government may not establish or control religion, nor interfere with the free exercise of faith. It does not mean excluding religious individuals or viewpoints from the public square. Faith has always informed the moral convictions of citizens, and protecting religious liberty is a foundational principle of our constitutional system and its earliest promises.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

No one should be compelled by the government to violate their sincerely held moral or religious beliefs. True religious liberty means freedom of conscience, not coerced compliance. A free society protects both equal treatment under the law and the right to live and work according to one’s faith, except where immediate, life-saving emergency care is required.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. Healthcare decisions should remain between patients and their doctors, not centralized government systems. Medicaid and Medicare should continue to serve those truly in need, but expanding government-run healthcare reduces choice, drives up costs, and weakens care quality. Reforms should focus on patient rights, competition, price transparency, and protecting access—not federal control.

The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.

Strongly Disagree

Centralized government databases of medical conditions pose severe cybersecurity and privacy risks. Such systems would be prime targets for foreign adversaries, criminals, and internal abuse. Healthcare decisions belong between patients and providers—not monitored, scored, or exploited by government systems under the guise of cost control.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

The Chinese Communist Party represents the most comprehensive long-term threat to U.S. national security, including cyber warfare, intellectual property theft, military expansion, and economic coercion. Addressing this threat requires strength, vigilance, and strategic independence from hostile regimes.

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

Israel is an important strategic ally in the Middle East and a key partner in intelligence, counterterrorism, and regional stability. At the same time, all alliances should be guided by clear U.S. national interests, accountability, and mutual respect. Strong alliances work best when they are honest, transparent, and aligned with American security priorities.

IMMIGRATION

I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.

Strongly Disagree

Sanctuary city policies undermine the rule of law, strain public resources, and create serious public safety and national security risks. They incentivize illegal entry, divert taxpayer-funded services from lawful residents, and erode cooperation between local and federal law enforcement. Immigration laws should be enforced consistently and humanely, with respect for legal processes and national sovereignty.

EDUCATION

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Strongly Agree

The U.S. Department of Education assumes all students learn the same way and benefit from uniform federal policies. That approach ignores local conditions and stifles innovation. Returning control to states and communities puts parents back in charge, restores accountability, and allows schools to respond to real-world needs instead of federal bureaucracy.

Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.

Strongly Agree

Foreign governments should be absolutely prohibited from funding American education. Such funding creates serious national security risks, invites ideological influence, and undermines academic independence. Education shapes future citizens, and allowing foreign states to influence curriculum, research, or institutions threatens U.S. sovereignty and public trust. American schools must answer only to American parents, taxpayers, and laws.

VALUES

Government should recognize and support the fundamental right and essential duty of parents to direct their child's health and educational well-being.

Strongly Agree

Parents know their children better than any federal agency or school bureaucracy. Government should respect the role of families, provide transparency, and step in only to prevent clear harm—not to impose ideological or medical decisions that properly belong to parents.

Attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex constitute child abuse.

Strongly Agree

Children deserve compassionate care—not irreversible medical or social interventions. I oppose transgender-affirming care for minors. In many cases, gender distress reflects underlying psychological, developmental, or family issues that should be addressed first. The responsible approach is comprehensive mental healthcare for the child and parents, focused on counseling, stability, and long-term well-being—not affirming a condition that may be temporary or driven by social pressure.

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Strongly Agree

Marriage is the union of one man and one woman and is foundational to family and civil society. Government should not redefine it.

I support the expansion of gambling in my state.

Strongly Disagree

States that expand gambling often see higher rates of poverty, crime, addiction, and homelessness in surrounding communities. Texas has avoided many of these outcomes by not relying on gambling revenue. Economic growth should come from productive enterprise—not policies that profit from financial desperation.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am an Orthodox Christian, and my faith informs how I understand responsibility, human dignity, and service to others. It shapes my belief that every human life has inherent worth, that families are the foundation of a healthy society, and that freedom carries moral responsibility. I value honesty, accountability, hard work, and compassion, and I believe faith should be lived out through service, integrity, and care for one’s community. At the same time, I strongly support religious liberty and freedom of conscience, respecting the right of others to live according to their own convictions without government coercion.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

Voting should require photo identification—no exceptions. Identity verification is standard for driver’s licenses, travel, banking, and government services. I also support exploring optional biometric verification (such as a thumbprint/fingerprint) for voter registration or ballot access, with strict privacy safeguards, to further deter fraud and strengthen confidence that every vote is lawful and counted once.

EQUALITY

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

Reparations based on race are unjust, divisive, and unconstitutional. They assign collective guilt and collective punishment to people who did not commit wrongdoing and force others to pay for events they did not cause. Justice should be based on individual responsibility and equal protection under the law—not ancestry. America should focus on opportunity, accountability, and equal treatment for all citizens.

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

Men and women are biologically different, and those differences matter for safety, fairness, and privacy. Allowing biological males into women’s sports or intimate spaces undermines competitive fairness and puts women and girls at risk. Protecting female-only spaces—such as locker rooms, shelters, and prisons—is a matter of safety and common sense, especially for minors.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.

Strongly Disagree

I oppose fear-driven policy that harms families, energy reliability, and national security. Texas should focus on resilience, innovation, and responsible stewardship—not costly mandates that weaken our economy, outsource energy production to adversaries, or reduce grid reliability.

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

Natural gas and nuclear provide the reliable baseload power Texas needs. Wind and solar can supplement the grid, but only dispatchable energy can meet demand and keep the lights on.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

I am a constitutional conservative focused on limited government, personal responsibility, strong families, and national sovereignty. I believe policy should be practical, lawful, and rooted in reality—not ideology.

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

No

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

No

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

What should be the goal of the criminal justice system?

The primary goal of the criminal justice system is to protect the public, uphold the rule of law, and deliver justice fairly and consistently. A key function of justice is deterrence—especially for violent crimes and offenses against minors. Serious crimes must carry serious consequences to prevent repeat offenses, while limited rehabilitation should be reserved for truly non-violent, first-time offenders without compromising public safety.

Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.

Strongly Agree

Protecting children from online exploitation is a core responsibility of government. This includes enforcing existing laws, holding platforms accountable, and giving parents and law enforcement the tools they need to stop predators.

Sharia law should not be accepted or incorporated in any form within the legal framework of the United States.

Strongly Agree

The United States is governed by the Constitution and the rule of law. No foreign legal system or religious law—of any kind—should supersede or be incorporated into American civil law.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

This is Texas—we respect and defend the right to keep and bear arms. Law-abiding citizens should face no additional gun restrictions. Firearms protect families, property, and freedom. Public safety is achieved by punishing criminals and negligence, not by infringing on constitutional rights. If someone mishandles a firearm or enables a crime through recklessness, they should be held accountable—but Texans should never be punished for exercising a fundamental right.
