QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

Elective abortions should not be performed unless a baby has died in utero and the deceased infant places the mother's health at risk, or in the case of an ectopic pregnancy, in which the baby is incapable of survival and continued growth places the mother at considerable risk for complications, including death.

Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.

Strongly Agree

The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.

Strongly Agree

The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.

Strongly Agree

ECONOMY

What is your position on the minimum wage?

I support decisions that allow local economies to grow without unnecessary government interference. Texas businesses and workers thrive when mandates are low and opportunity is high. Blanket wage policies do not account for regional economics.

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.

Government should operate efficiently and serve taxpayers without unnecessary regulatory burden. I support efforts to audit and streamline programs that no longer deliver results, eliminate duplication, and ensure that taxpayer dollars are used responsibly. Initiatives like Texas's Regulatory Efficiency Office, designed to reduce outdated rules and improve how state agencies function, reflect the type of practical, accountable reform that I believe in.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

The US Constitution protects religious freedom. It does not mean faith should be pushed out of public life. People should be free to live, speak, and act according to their beliefs. That includes the right to pray in school, display faith-based symbols, and allow communities to uphold the values that matter to them. The government should never impose religion, but it also should not silence it.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary.

The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.

Strongly Disagree

NATIONAL SECURITY

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

While foreign policy is a federal issue, I believe Texas should always stand with Israel. Israel is one of America's strongest allies, and our shared values are worth defending.

IMMIGRATION

I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.

Strongly Disagree

EDUCATION

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Agree

Education decisions belong close to home, not in DC. Parents, teachers, and local communities know what's best for their students. The U.S. Dept of Education has grown beyond its intended scope, often creating unnecessary mandates and bureaucracy. I support efforts to return more authority to states and local school boards, where education can be more responsive, efficient, and aligned with Texas values.

Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.

Strongly Agree

VALUES

Government should recognize and support the fundamental right and essential duty of parents to direct their child's health and educational well-being.

Strongly Agree

Attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex constitute child abuse.

Strongly Agree

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Strongly Agree

I support the expansion of gambling in my state.

Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I believe the Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God. The scriptures tell us there is one God who loved us enough to give His only Son to die on the cross for our sins. All men are by nature sinners and have an opportunity to accept God's gift of salvation by acknowledging our sinful state, believing the death on the cross paid a substitutionary price for our sins, and inviting God to dwell within us. Once saved, we begin to grow our personal relationship with God through prayer and continued application of His Word. We are obligated to share God's truth with others and strive to live a life that demonstrates solid Christian values to those around us. Values of faith, family, hard work, honesty, love, kindness, joy, peace, & forgiveness.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

EQUALITY

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Neutral

Our focus should be on expanding opportunity, improving education, and reducing barriers for all families, regardless of background. Policies that divide us by race move us further from equality, not closer to it.

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.

Disagree

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

While nuclear power is the most reliable energy source, natural gas remains the most consistent energy source for Texas electricity. As Texas continues to diversify our energy portfolio, we must avoid mandates that undermine our energy independence.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

No

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

No

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

What should be the goal of the criminal justice system?

Protect the public, ensure justice, hold offenders accountable, and lower crime rates.

Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.

Strongly Agree

Sharia law should not be accepted or incorporated in any form within the legal framework of the United States.

Strongly Agree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

The current restrictions protect public safety; no additional restrictions should be imposed on gun ownership.
