QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.

Strongly Agree

Scripture teaches that human life is created by God, known by Him before birth, and made in His image. “You knitted me together in my mother’s womb” (Psalm 139:13). The Lord told Jeremiah, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you” (Jeremiah 1:5). John the Baptist leaped in Elizabeth’s womb at the presence of the unborn Christ (Luke 1:41–44). From fertilization a new human organism exists—unique DNA, continuous development, the same individual who will one day be born, grow old, and die.

The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.

Strongly Agree

How a child is conceived does not change what that child is. Fertilization—whether it occurs in the womb or in a laboratory—produces a new human organism with a unique genetic identity, made in the image of God. Scripture never ties the sanctity of life to the circumstances of conception. David could say, “In sin did my mother conceive me” (Psalm 51:5) and still affirm that God formed him in the womb. The same Lord who knew Jeremiah before he was formed knows every embryo.

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

None. An “elective” abortion is the intentional ending of an innocent human life for a reason other than saving the mother’s life. There is no circumstance in which that should be allowed. Scripture never treats the child as guilty of the father’s crime or of the mother’s hardship. The unborn child is already known by God (Psalm 139:13–16; Jeremiah 1:5) and is our neighbor. We do not execute the innocent to relieve suffering caused by someone else. Rape and incest are grave evils.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Disagree

Taxpayer dollars must not pay for the destruction of innocent human life or for the organizations that perform and promote it. Planned Parenthood is the nation’s largest abortion provider. Routing federal, state, or local money to it—including Title X grants—forces millions of Americans who believe abortion is the killing of a child made in God’s image to subsidize that killing. That is unjust. Scripture and conscience both reject compelling the people to finance what they regard as shedding.

The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.

Strongly Agree

Federal law already forbids using the mail or interstate commerce to ship articles intended for abortion. The Comstock Act (18 U.S.C. §§ 1461–1462) has never been repealed. After Dobbs, that statute is not a dead letter; it is unused law. A president and an attorney general who refuse to enforce it are substituting their policy for Congress’s text. Abortion-inducing drugs end a human life. Shipping them across state lines is not “health care logistics.” It is the interstate delivery.

ECONOMY

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

Free enterprise and private property are not optional extras. They are how a free people produce prosperity and how a just government respects the person. The Eighth Commandment—“You shall not steal”—presupposes that what a man has earned or inherited is his. Scripture treats land, flocks, wages, and inheritance as belonging to households, not to the state (Exodus 20:15; Deuteronomy 19:14; 1 Kings 21). The parable of the talents praises productive stewardship, not confiscation (Matthew 25:14–30)

People who can afford to pay more taxes should do so in order to provide relief for working families.

Strongly Disagree

Relief for working families does not begin by targeting “people who can afford to pay more.” That slogan is how redistribution is sold. It treats another household’s earnings as a reserve fund for the state. Scripture commands generosity. It does not command Caesar to equalize outcomes. The worker is worthy of his wages (Luke 10:7; 1 Timothy 5:18). Naboth’s vineyard was not Ahab’s because Ahab wanted it for a public garden (1 Kings 21). Ability to pay is not a license to take.

The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.

Strongly Agree

A nation that will not restrain its spending is stealing from its children. The national debt is not an accounting curiosity. It is a claim on future labor—interest first, then principal—laid on people who never voted for the outlays. Scripture treats debt as bondage (Proverbs 22:7) and requires rulers to be faithful stewards, not patrons of every appetite. The borrower is servant to the lender. America should not be servant to its creditors or to its own Congress.

List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.

1. Stop paying twice for the same failure. 2. End federal subsidies for abortion and for NGOs that facilitate illegal immigration. 3. Shrink or eliminate the U.S. Department of Education and return dollars to states and parents.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

Freedom without the ability to choose is no freedom at all.

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

The Constitution does not say “separation of church and state.” It says Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof. Those are two commands: no national church, and no war on the church.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary

The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.

Strongly Disagree

The government has no just authority to maintain a named list of the sick so that it can “assess the economic burden” of keeping them alive. That is not public-health statistics. That is a dossier. Once the state knows who has cancer, diabetes, HIV, depression, or a disability, the next questions write themselves: who costs too much, who may buy a gun, who may work, who may receive care, and whose treatment is a “burden” on the budget.

NATIONAL SECURITY

With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.

B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny.

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

The Chinese Communist Party is not a normal trading partner. It is a hostile regime that steals American intellectual property, penetrates U.S. networks, builds a military aimed at our allies and our fleet, and uses economic leverage to silence critics and capture supply chains. Treating the CCP as a competitor we can manage with slogans is how we lost manufacturing, let fentanyl precursors flow, and allowed TikTok-scale data harvesting on American phones.

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

Yes. The U.S.–Israel relationship is a strategic alliance and a moral one. It is not a charity account and it is not optional sentiment. Israel is the only fully functioning democracy in a region of autocracies and terror armies. It shares intelligence, missile-defense technology (Iron Dome and related systems have saved American and allied lives), and operational experience against the same Iranian-backed networks that target U.S. forces and shipping.

Islamic terrorism is a threat to the United States' national security.

Strongly Agree

IMMIGRATION

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

People who come legally, can support themselves, obey our laws, and add to the country—not people who enter by force of numbers or by breaking the law. The American Prosperity Immigration Act I have advanced follows that order: secure the border first, then admit those who will strengthen families, churches, and the tax base rather than the welfare rolls and the cartel. Who should immigrate is a sovereign choice. It should be made by law, in the open, for the good of the Americans already here.

I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.

Strongly Disagree

A nation has a God-given and constitutional right to decide who joins it (Acts 17:26; the same Scripture that commands kindness to the sojourner also assumes borders and distinct peoples). Hospitality is a Christian duty. It is not a duty to erase the door. The sojourner in Israel was to keep the law of the land, not to replace it.

EDUCATION

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Strongly Agree

The United States Department of Education is not in the Constitution. Education belongs to parents, churches, and the states. Washington created a Cabinet department in 1979. In the decades since, real per-pupil spending rose and reading and math for too many children in places like District 20 did not. A federal bureaucracy that writes grants, guidance, and Title IX rules is not the same thing as a literate child.

Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.

Strongly Agree

Foreign governments have no business funding the education in America for any reason.

VALUES

Attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex constitute child abuse.

Strongly Agree

A child is not a design project. Sex is given at conception—male or female, written in the body and in the genome. Attempts to treat a boy as a girl or a girl as a boy, whether by social ritual (names, pronouns, opposite-sex spaces) or by drugs and surgery that damage healthy fertility and sexual function, are not medicine. They are an adult intervention into a minor who cannot consent to sterility or to the loss of a normal puberty.

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Strongly Agree

Marriage is the first institution created by God and thus it cannot be modified by humans nor governments.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a Christian. I believe Jesus Christ is Lord—crucified, risen, and returning—and that the Bible is the Word of God, sufficient for faith and life. I was formed by Scripture, by the church, and by years of study (including an M.Div. and a Ph.D.) that taught me to submit my will, not to baptize my politics.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

The Save America Act should be passed immediately!

EQUALITY

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Disagree

Not no, but heck no!

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

Nuclear power backed by American Natural Gas.

ABOUT YOU

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

No!

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

No!

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

I am conservative because I have seen what happens when a nation forgets limits. I believe God is God and the state is not. That is the first limit. Rights come from the Creator, not from a majority or a bureau. Life, family, property, worship, and self-defense are not permissions the government issues. A conservative starts there: the magistrate is a servant under law (Romans 13), not a parent for 330 million people.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.

Strongly Agree

The internet is not a playground without wolves. Predators, pornographers, and traffickers use it to reach children. Government’s first job is to protect the innocent, not to host their ruin. Age-gating hardcore pornography, requiring platforms to design products that children cannot be quietly sexualized on, and prosecuting those who groom or exploit minors online are not “censorship of adults.” They are the same duty we already recognize offline.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

The restriction that protects the public is on violent criminals—not on the law-abiding owner. The Second Amendment is not a hunting license. It is the people’s right to keep and bear arms, binding on the states. Public safety is a real duty. It is not served by treating a veteran, a mother in District 20, or a rancher as the problem because a gang member or a prohibited person pulled a trigger.
