QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

I strongly agree that taxpayer dollars should not fund abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood. I believe public funds should be directed toward healthcare that offer comprehensive medical care without performing abortions. Taxpayers should not be required to subsidize abortion providers through federal, state, or local funding programs, including Title X grants. Protecting both the conscience rights of taxpayers and the value of every human life is an important principle to me.

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

I believe elective abortion should not be permitted. Every human life has inherent value and deserves protection. I also believe women should have access to compassionate care, medical support, and resources that offer help when a mother is facing an unexpected or difficult pregnancy.

Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.

Strongly Agree

This principle reflects my commitment to protecting the most vulnerable, promoting a culture that values life at every stage, and supporting policies that provide compassionate care for both mothers and their children.

The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.

Strongly Agree

Every human embryo represents a unique human life and deserves dignity. Scientific advances must be guided by ethical principles that respect the inherent value of every human being.

The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.

Strongly Agree

I strongly agree that existing federal laws should be faithfully enforced by the executive branch unless and until they are changed through the legislative process or the courts. I believe the interstate distribution of abortion-inducing drugs raises significant legal, medical, and public safety concerns. Enforcing the Comstock Act, as interpreted under applicable laws, helps uphold the rule of law while ensuring that any changes to federal policy occur through the proper constitutional process.

ECONOMY

What is your position on the minimum wage?

I believe every Floridian deserves the opportunity to earn a good living, but artificially raising the minimum wage can increase costs for small businesses, reduce hiring opportunities, and contribute to higher prices for consumers.

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

I strongly agree that free enterprise and private property rights are the foundation of a prosperous and free society. When individuals are able to innovate, invest, and own property, they create jobs, strengthen communities, and expand opportunities for others. Government's role should be to protect these rights, enforce the rule of law, and foster an environment where business and families can thrive -- not impose unnecessary regulations that limit economic freedom.

List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.

Increase transparency and accountability, reduce unnecessary bureaucracy and regulations, and prioritize core government responsibilities by focusing on public safety, infrastructure, education, and essential services while eliminating the unnecessary expenditures. Taxpayer dollars should be treated with the same care and responsibility that Florida families use to manage their own household budgets.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

I believe the members of the church should vote and be informed. There is no constitutional justification for the "separation of church and state" and I intend to govern in accordance with my faith if elected.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

I strongly disagree. Religious liberty and freedom of the conscience are fundamental constitutional rights that should be protected. Individuals and businesses should not be compelled by the government to act in ways that violate their sincerely held religious or moral beliefs. Public policy should seek to uphold constitutional principles while fostering a society of mutual respect.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

500 characters isn't enough to outline a fundamental restructuring of the American healthcare system. In the absence of a thoroughly explained plan, I'll choose option C with the caveat that we need to work to remove the heavy hand of government from our healthcare system to create more price transparency, appropriate economic incentives for healthcare providers, and streamline the regulatory framework and insurance costs that make healthcare unaffordable.

The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.

Strongly Disagree

I strongly disagree. Individuals have a fundamental right to medical privacy, and the government should not maintain any databases tracking citizens' ongoing medical conditions for economic policy purposes. Healthcare decisions should remain between patients and their selected healthcare providers. I support protecting personal health information, limiting government intrusion, and ensuring that individual privacy and civil liberties remain a priority.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

China employs a number of varied tactics to weaken the United States in advance of their strategic objectives. We need to remain vigilant on threats posed by foreign countries of concern - especially, but not limited to, China.

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

Yes, because I believe the bible when its says those who support Israel will be blessed by God. We should always work to build our relationship with our closest ally.

IMMIGRATION

I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.

Strongly Disagree

Local governments should not ignore or undermine federal immigration law. Sanctuary city policies can make it harder for our brave law enforcement to do their jobs. They also weaken public safety, and create confusion between local, state, and federal authorities. I support enforcing the rule of law, securing our borders, and ensuring that communities cooperate with immigration officials when necessary to protect citizens and uphold public safety.

EDUCATION

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Agree

US DOE is a needless layer of bureaucracy that consumes federal resources but does little to implement the programs funded by federal dollars. We would be better off to receive federal block grants for education programs and empower states and local school districts to administer those programs.

Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.

Strongly Agree

This relates to the question about China. We cannot allow foreign governments to influence our education and research institutions. Foreign funding can also create conflicts of interest and undermine transparency. I support requiring full disclosure of foreign financial involvement, and prohibiting foreign governments from exerting any influence over American educational institutions. We need to work to rebuild trust between our parents and schools, not damage it further.

VALUES

Government should recognize and support the fundamental right and essential duty of parents to direct their child's health and educational well-being.

Strongly Agree

This is established by case law and is my "true north" on education policy. Parents have the fundamental right and responsibility to direct the upbringing, education, and healthcare of their children. The government should support and not replace the role of parents in making any decisions regarding important decisions. I support policies that protect parental rights, and promote complete transparency in education.

Attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex constitute child abuse.

Strongly Agree

I strongly agree. Children should not be subjected to ideologies or interventions before they are fully mature enough to understand the lifelong consequences. My priority is protecting children's long term health, safety, and well being.

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Strongly Agree

This conviction is rooted in my Christian faith and my understanding of biblical teaching. Strong families are the foundation of strong communities, and I believe the government should respect and protect this institution while treating every individual with dignity and respect.

I support the expansion of gambling in my state.

Strongly Disagree

I do not support expanding gambling because of the social and economic harms it can bring to individuals, families, and communities. Increased gambling is often associated with higher rates of addiction, financial hardship, and crime. I believe the government should prioritize policies that strengthen families, and promote economic opportunity through more productive industries rather than relying on expanded gambling for revenue.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a follower of Christ. I believe he was crucified and rose on the 3rd day.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

Requiring photo identification to vote is a common sense safeguard that helps the integrity of our elections and ensures that every legal vote counts. Voter ID requirements strengthen public confidence in the electoral process while still allowing eligible citizens to participate. Free, fair, and secure elections are essential to maintaining trust in our constitutional republic.

EQUALITY

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

Government policies should treat every individual equally under the law, regardless of race. I do not support reparations based on race because I believe public policy should unite Americans rather than divide them. Our focus should be on expanding opportunity, strengthening families, improving education, and creating economic growth that benefits all citizens.

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

Women's sports and private spaces should be reserved for biological females to ensure fairness, safety, and privacy.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.

Neutral

I am willing to listen and learn both sides of the argument to make an informed common sense decision related to an urgent need for political action.

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

America's growing energy needs require an all-of-the-above approach. I support expanding domestic energy production while reducing unnecessary regulations so America can remain energy independent while keeping electricity reliable and more affordable

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

I believe in limited government, individual liberty, fiscal responsibility, secure borders, strong families, and the sanctity of human life. I support the United States Constitution, the rule of law, free enterprise, parental rights, and a strong national defense. My guiding principles are faith, freedom, and preserving our American values. I am a husband, a father, and a man of faith, and I seek to keep Florida and the United States the greatest I possibly can.

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

No

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

No

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

What should be the goal of the criminal justice system?

To protect the public, to uphold the rule of law, to deliver justice to victims, and to hold offenders accountable. It should deter crime through fair and consistent enforcement. Safe communities depend on strong law enforcement, independent judiciary, and equal application of the law.

Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.

Strongly Agree

This is one of the most important responsibilities of the government. I support laws that hold predators accountable, increase penalties for those who exploit children, strengthen cooperation between law enforcement and technology companies, and provide parents with the tools needed to keep their children safe online while protecting constitutional rights.

Sharia law should not be accepted or incorporated in any form within the legal framework of the United States.

Strongly Agree

The United States should be governed exclusively by the U.S. Constitution and the laws enacted under it. No foreign legal system or religious code should ever supersede or be incorporated into American law. Our constitutional framework protects religious freedom for all while ensuring that every person is subject to the same laws and equal protection under the Constitution.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

I fully support the Second Amendment and believe law-abiding citizens have the right to keep and bear arms. The best way to protect public safety isn't to punish responsible gun owners, but to promote firearm safety, education, proper training, and accountability. Guns do not act on their own; people do. We need to focus on responsible handling, and enforce existing laws against those who misuse firearms.
