I believe the Constitution protects freedom of religion, not freedom from religion. The phrase “separation of church and state” does not appear in the Constitution and was never intended to silence faith in public life. It was meant to prevent the government from establishing a national religion while protecting every American’s right to freely live out their faith. Our nation’s founding principles are rooted in God given rights, and people of faith should never be pushed out of the public squar

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. Medicaid and Medicare should continue to serve as essential safety-net programs for seniors, low-income individuals, and other vulnerable populations. However, expanding taxpayer-funded healthcare beyond these core responsibilities is unnecessary and could lead to higher costs, inefficiency, and an increased burden on taxpayers. A more effective approach focuses on personal responsibility, private-sector solutions, and limited, targeted government assistance where it is truly needed.
The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.

I do not support maintaining a government database of individuals based on their personal medical conditions. If data is needed to evaluate the cost and effectiveness of treatment, it should be collected using de-identified claims data that protects patient privacy. We can make informed healthcare decisions without creating government registries of people’s personal medical information.
