QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

In my view, abortion should not be used except in rare and serious medical emergencies. In such cases, women should have access to full informed consent and the right to seek a second medical opinion. Too often, women are pressured without being fully informed of the consequences. Every human life has inherent value, and decisions should prioritize life while protecting the health and dignity of the mother.

Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.

Strongly Agree

I believe life is sacred and God-given from conception to natural death. Protecting life must never come at the cost of truth, compassion, parental rights, or justice

The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.

Strongly Agree

I believe life is sacred regardless of how it is created, and embryos should not be intentionally destroyed. Compassion, ethics, and respect for families must guide any fertility practices.

The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.

Strongly Agree

I believe existing federal law should be enforced as written unless and until Congress lawfully changes it. Enforcement must focus on accountability, safety, and transparency—not punishment of women or families. Any application of federal law should respect due process, parental rights, medical ethics, and constitutional limits on government power.

ECONOMY

What is your position on the minimum wage?

I want families to thrive, but government-set wage mandates often raise prices and reduce opportunity. I support policies that lower the cost of living, strengthen small businesses, and create an economy where wages grow through work and opportunity.

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

Free enterprise and private property empower families, workers, and small businesses to thrive. When government protects these rights instead of overregulating them, communities grow stronger, opportunity expands, and people can build generational stability.

List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.

My priorities are independent audits of state agencies, eliminating duplicative and bloated bureaucracies, enforcing transparency and FOIA compliance, defunding programs that fail results-based metrics, and redirecting taxpayer dollars to services that directly benefit families and communities—not administrative overhead.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

Separation of church and state” means the government may not establish or control a church, nor interfere with the free exercise of religion. It was intended to protect faith from government intrusion—not to remove moral or religious values from public life. People of faith should be free to live out their beliefs without government punishment or coercion.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

Individuals and businesses should not be forced by the government to violate sincerely held moral or religious beliefs. Religious liberty and freedom of conscience are foundational rights. Disagreements should be handled through choice, accommodation, and the free market—not government coercion.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

I support maintaining Medicaid and Medicare for those who truly need them, while opposing the expansion of government-run healthcare systems. My focus is on reform, transparency, fraud prevention, and restoring patient choice, parental rights, and medical freedom—so healthcare serves people, not bureaucracies. (c)

The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.

Strongly Disagree

I oppose government databases that track individuals by medical condition. Such systems threaten privacy, invite abuse, and reduce people to economic calculations instead of human beings. Healthcare decisions should be made by patients and doctors—not bureaucracies—and cost control should focus on transparency, competition, and fraud prevention, not surveillance.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

The Chinese Communist Party—not the Chinese people—poses serious military, cyber, economic, and intellectual property threats to the United States. America must protect its sovereignty, critical infrastructure, supply chains, and innovation while standing firm against authoritarian regimes that undermine freedom and national security.

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

The U.S. relationship with Israel matters when it advances American security and stability in a dangerous region. While Israel is a key ally, U.S. policy must remain America-first, restrained, and accountable, focused on protecting U.S. interests, preventing wider conflict, and avoiding open-ended foreign entanglements.

IMMIGRATION

I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.

Strongly Disagree

i oppose sanctuary city policies because they undermine the rule of law, public safety, and accountability. FOIA responses show that over 20,358 children currently on Illinois Medicaid have no Social Security number, and 10,358 individuals lack verified identification, raising serious concerns about oversight and child safety. Compassion must include lawful processes, transparency, and protection of vulnerable children

EDUCATION

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Strongly Agree

I support returning education decisions to states and local communities, where parents and educators know students best. Reducing federal control allows for greater accountability, flexibility, and respect for parental rights, while keeping education focused on learning—not politics or bureaucracy.

Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.

Strongly Agree

American education should be funded and governed by Americans. Allowing foreign governments to fund U.S. education creates serious risks of undue influence, conflicts of interest, and loss of transparency. Our schools should answer to parents, communities, and taxpayers—not foreign entities or governments with competing interests

VALUES

Government should recognize and support the fundamental right and essential duty of parents to direct their child's health and educational well-being.

Strongly Agree

Parents have the fundamental right and responsibility to direct their children’s health, education, and well-being. Government exists to support families—not replace them. Policies must respect parental authority, informed consent, and due process while protecting children without overreach or coercion.

Attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex constitute child abuse.

Strongly Agree

Children deserve protection from irreversible physical and psychological interventions they cannot fully understand or consent to. Decisions involving social or medical transition should never be rushed or imposed on minors. Compassion means providing age-appropriate support, counseling, and safeguarding children’s long-term health while respecting parental rights and due process.

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Strongly Agree

I believe marriage is a sacred institution established by God and foundational to family and society. At the same time, government should not coerce individuals, churches, or businesses to violate their sincerely held religious beliefs. Protecting marriage also means protecting religious freedom, conscience rights, and the ability of people of faith to live according to their convictions without government punishment

I support the expansion of gambling in my state.

Disagree

I do not support expanding gambling in our state. While adults are free to make personal choices, state-sponsored expansion often leads to addiction, financial harm, and negative impacts on families and children. Government should focus on strengthening communities and responsible economic growth—not relying on industries that profit from loss

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a Christian, and my faith in Jesus Christ is the foundation of my life and values. I believe He calls us to love others, defend the vulnerable, speak truth, and act with humility and courage. My commitment to protecting children, supporting families, pursuing justice, and governing with integrity flows directly from my faith. While I respect the freedoms and beliefs of all people, I seek to lead with a servant’s heart, guided by biblical principles of compassion, accountability, and moral responsibility

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

Voting is a sacred right, and protecting its integrity is essential to preserving trust in our elections. Requiring photo identification helps ensure that every legal vote counts and prevents fraud or error. Secure elections and accessible elections are not opposing goals—we can and should have both

EQUALITY

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

I oppose reparations based on race. Justice should be rooted in equal treatment under the law, personal responsibility, and policies that lift people based on need—not skin color. We should focus on strengthening families, improving opportunity, and addressing present-day injustices in ways that unite communities rather than divide them

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

Protecting women’s sports and women’s spaces is about fairness, safety, and equal opportunity. Biological differences matter in athletics and in private, vulnerable settings such as locker rooms, shelters, and prisons. We can treat every person with dignity while still preserving sex-based protections that exist to safeguard women and girls

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.

Disagree

I believe in responsible stewardship of our environment, but I reject climate alarmism being used to justify costly mandates that hurt families, farmers, and energy independence. Environmental policy should be based on sound science, transparency, and practical solutions—not fear-driven agendas that expand government control and raise the cost of living

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

The most reliable energy comes from American oil, natural gas, nuclear, and hydropower. These sources provide consistent baseload power, protect national security, and keep energy affordable without relying on foreign supply chains

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

I am a conservative guided by faith, the Constitution, and accountability to the people. I believe in limited government, parental rights, individual liberty, secure borders, honest elections, and policies that put American families, workers, and children first

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

No

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

No

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

What should be the goal of the criminal justice system?

The primary goal of the criminal justice system should be to protect the public, uphold the rule of law, and deliver equal justice under the Constitution. This includes holding offenders accountable, prioritizing victims’ rights, ensuring due process, and deterring crime—especially violent and repeat offenses—while rejecting political or ideological bias in enforcement.

Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.

Strongly Agree

Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation online, but parents are the first and foremost line of defense. Public policy should support parental rights, transparency, and accountability while targeting criminals—not replacing families or infringing on constitutional freedoms.

Sharia law should not be accepted or incorporated in any form within the legal framework of the United States.

Strongly Agree

U.S. law must be based solely on the Constitution. No foreign or religious legal system should be incorporated into American courts or governance.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

The right to keep and bear arms is a fundamental constitutional right and shall not be infringed. Public safety is best protected by enforcing existing laws against violent criminals, safeguarding due process, and supporting lawful gun ownership—not by imposing new restrictions on law-abiding citizens.
