i believe the founders encourage freedom of religion what they did not want was a government to controal and enforce anyone religion. The founders also encourage civic engagement within the churches. Society has come a long way from the founders and their intentions. America was built on Christan values. They did not generally intend to silence churches or prevent religious leaders from speaking about moral or public issues.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
