QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.

Agree

All life is valuable.

The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.

Agree

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

To save the mothers life.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Disagree

This is where a disconnect happens. Not all of planned Parenthood services are abortions. They do offer beneficial services, we seem to only talk about abortion though.

The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.

Agree

President Trump left abortion decisions up to the states.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

That the state cannot be involved in the church. Not vice versa. That's why we have "In God We trust" on buildings, money etc. Also, why we allow bibles to be sworn on, and religious garments to be worn during government activities. The church should be involved with the government, but not forcing a religion. The state not involved with the church.

NATIONAL SECURITY

With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.

I do not support violence against innocent people anywhere. I believe every potential conflict must be evaluated on its own merits. If a situation directly threatens American lives, our national security, or fulfills a clear treaty obligation, such as defending an ally who has been attacked unprovoked, I will support appropriate action. However, if a war is avoidable, does not directly impact the safety or security of the United States, and lacks a clear national interest, I would oppose.

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

A relationship with any ally is important.

Islamic terrorism is a threat to the United States' national security.

Agree

Any act of terrorism is a Threat to the United States' national Security.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

E. These are not the only options. But to many believe they are.

The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.

Strongly Disagree

"Burden"? That's a worrisome word, especially for the government to say about citizens.

ECONOMY

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

People who can afford to pay more taxes should do so in order to provide relief for working families.

Disagree

Who decides who can afford it? The government who runs on a deficit? If people feel they can afford it, they have the right to give money to charities or those families in need.

The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.

Agree

List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.

Reduce spending, cut politicians salaries, stop sending money overseas while our own people here are suffering.

IMMIGRATION

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

People who are not criminals and want to better themselves and our country. Individuals who love America, and desire to see it get better every day. Those chasing the American Dream.

I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.

Strongly Disagree

I do not support sanctuary cities. I do believe that any undocumented person should have a pathway to citizenship, if they have been here for 10 years, and have been a productive member of our society.

EDUCATION

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Neutral

With the way our education system is, and how we are setting our children up for failure. We need to change something. In order to fully get rid of it, Congress has to vote it out. And to get the votes from Congress, Republicans would have to extend a hand and get Democrats to vote with them. Which they have shown they will not do.

Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.

Strongly Agree

I also believe, the American government should not be funding other nations education.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.

Agree

I agree. But the question then becomes how? How do they do it without overreaching? How do they monitor it? Are we going to allow them to watch what we do online, and see what we talk about? Yes, it helps stop perverts and creeps, but it can easily turn into the government watching those they do not like. What if those in power are the very ones exploiting our kids?

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

ABOUT YOU

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

No

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

No

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

This is hard to answer. In just the last 10 years, everything has shifted. Beliefs that were predominantly left leaning are now considered on the right, and vice versa.

VALUES

Attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex constitute child abuse.

Strongly Agree

A child is a minor. Let children be children. Children want to run, play, laugh, and have fun. Not to be talked to about topics that concern adults. Leave the children alone!

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Agree

Though I believe this, based on what I read in the Bible. God has ordained the leaders. You can disagree with the marriage, but the fact is, we live in The United States of America. According to the Supreme Court, people are free to marry anyone they want. (Those of age obviously)

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

Jesus = God God = Jesus Holy Spirit = God = Jesus I believe people are valuable, no matter if they are rich, poor, have a job or not. No matter their race, religion, sex, or sexuality. Nor, if they are a hard worker, or lazy. It doesn't even matter what political party they claim to. I love and care for them all. We should want to see all succeed and have opportunities to be successful.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

ID should be required. We should make sure everyone who is able to vote, has the resources and knowledge on how to vote. No matter how they vote. Whether it's for your party or against your party. It's a right open to all U.S. citizens.

EQUALITY

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Agree

We live in The United States of America, people have the right to do what they want, legally. If an adult wants to transition, go for it. But that does not mean it gets to be pushed onto others. This also goes for biological women, going into the men's restroom.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?
