QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
None.
Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.
Strongly Agree
As a signer and supporter of the Abolish Abortion Pledge, I believe every life deserves legal protection.
The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.
Strongly Agree
The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.
Strongly Agree
ECONOMY
What is your position on the minimum wage?
Minimum wage should not be determined federally. Each state has different dynamics. There shouldn't be a minimum wage at all; the market should determine appropriate wages.
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.
Question. Everything. Consistent review processes of spending: 1.) Has the purpose of the spending been met? 2.) Have the goals of the spending been reached? 3.) Does further spending result in additional benefits to number 1? If not, we need to stop funding it.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
Separation of church and state is an institutional separation. Meaning states cannot institute a state church or require participation. It was never meant to be a moral or cultural separation. It is often misused and misunderstood historically.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
Businesses have the right to refuse business to anyone. When the government begins regulating which businesses serve whom, the erosion of free enterprise has begun.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
C. Tentatively. The framework of these programs should remain, but a serious revamping and review needs to take place. The amount of fraud could fund programs for decades, but it must be stopped first.
The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.
Strongly Disagree
Absolutely not.
NATIONAL SECURITY
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Strongly Agree
Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?
Yes, it is. Israel is an ally that allows for counterintelligence and counterterrorism efforts that assist in keeping the USA safer. Economic benefits exist as well. What is often missed is that relationships with other countries do not require 100% agreement on governing, religious, trade, or other philosophies. It does require cooperation, which generally stems from mutual benefits in the relationship.
IMMIGRATION
I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.
Strongly Disagree
No, and these cities should face repercussions for failing to follow not only constitutional law but also state and local laws.
EDUCATION
I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.
Strongly Agree
Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.
Strongly Agree
VALUES
Government should recognize and support the fundamental right and essential duty of parents to direct their child's health and educational well-being.
Strongly Agree
Attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex constitute child abuse.
Strongly Agree
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.
Agree
I support the expansion of gambling in my state.
Strongly Disagree
Not at this time. I am not against gambling; however, having been an investigator for a Tribal casino, Texas currently does not have the infrastructure in place to deter the criminal drivers that coincide with gambling.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a Christian, and my faith is foundational to who I am. It guides every decision I make, often instinctively and has shaped my understanding of right and wrong. Through challenges and difficult moments, my faith provides clarity, steadiness, and direction. My faith has made me a better wife and mother, understanding the gifts of both of those titles. My leadership is grounded in consistency, moral clarity, and accountability. Justice is in my DNA, and I am committed to fairness, responsibility, and doing what is right, even when it is difficult or unpopular.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
You cannot cash a check, drive a car, get on a plane, buy alcohol, get insurance, see your doctor, or dozens of other things without first presenting an ID. How and why this became an agenda pushed on our public for such an important right is beyond me. This is a hard stop for me. Identification should be required to vote. Period.
EQUALITY
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.
Strongly Agree
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.
Disagree
The environment and climate has been morphing since the beginning of time. Are humans advancing it, quite possibly. I don't believe it requires immediate political action.
What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?
Oil, gas, nuclear.
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.
No.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.
No.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
What should be the goal of the criminal justice system?
First and foremost, protect the public from being victims of crime, and deter dangerous offenders while upholding the rule of law. The criminal justice system isn't just law enforcement; we often forget it includes district attorneys, judges, courts, jails, prisons, and every service in between that supports the system. Working in tandem, each cog of the wheel can keep the wheels of justice turning to work towards the goal of keeping our communities as safe as possible.
Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.
Strongly Agree
Sharia law should not be accepted or incorporated in any form within the legal framework of the United States.
Strongly Agree
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
Convicted felons and violent offenders should be limited in gun ownership. The challenge is "ownership." Many repeat offenders don't "own" the weapons as they are stolen or acquired in straw sales. It is also difficult to measure mental health in regard to gun ownership. Laws that address these issues are typically feel-good laws, nearly impossible to enforce, and have minimal impact on moving the needle towards public safety. I don't believe laws on gun ownership will modify behavior at all.
