QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.
Strongly Agree
Life begins at the moment of conception. Every human is created in the image of God and is unique, has worth, and deserves life, no matter how small. It is wrong to end a life and abortion takes the life of the most vulnerable and innocent. The safest place on Earth should be a mother's womb.
What role should the school serve in helping a student with an unwanted or crisis pregnancy?
The role of a school is to educate, not to provide medical services. If a student finds themselves in this situation and reaches out to the school, the school's role is to notify the parents of the student so they can support their child and find outside resources that can help them navigate through the process. If parents ask the school for information about resources, the school should direct the parents to a crisis pregnancy center such as Colorado Springs Pregnancy Center which provide prolife options.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Teachers should be required to instruct students on mandated curriculum even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
Absolutely not! This would be a clear violation of the 1st Amendment. The government should never mandate that anyone do anything that would violate their moral and religious beliefs. Being forced to do something that goes against your conscience is a type of tyranny. In fact, teachers should not be prohibited from freely exercising their religious beliefs.
ECONOMY
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
Our founding fathers founded our nation on the principles of free market capitalism and the right to private property. Without it, our country would not be America. America was built on the concept of free enterprise and the free exchange of goods and services. That is why our nation is the most inventive, innovative, and prosperous nation in the world. The right to private property means that the things people own and their ideas and inventions are protected from others who want to steal them.
What is your position on government funding of public education from Pre-K through college?
Education in America existed for a100 years without gov't funding. People understood that parents are in charge of their children's education, not the state. When federal and state government get involved with funding education, we get the educational crisis that we have today. I believe that instead of tax dollars going to the state and then funneled into schools, the per pupil money should go back to parents who then choose to spend that money on the school of their choice; free market style.
EDUCATION
Abortion and gender-affirming providers, including Planned Parenthood, should be a resource for instruction or services in the school.
Strongly Disagree
No, schools are places of education where students learn to read, write, do math, and learn science and history. Schools are NOT medical facilities, and should NEVER provide these services. Also, having these resources on campus, makes it way too easy to violate parents' rights by not informing them of these issues with their children. Parents are in charge of their children and any and all medical decisions need to be made by them and not provided by the school.
Consistent discipline creates a safe and orderly environment, which is essential for student learning.
Strongly Agree
Yes, we need to ensure that effective disciple is used so that teachers can focus on teaching and students can learn in a distraction free environment. When students have to accept responsibility for their actions and receive consistent consequences for poor choices, the frequency of the misbehavior will decrease. Additionally, when students are praised and awarded for their good choices, this increases their desire and motivation to do what is right.
Educators should give students a thorough education in America's founding documents and cultivate American patriotism.
Strongly Agree
It is imperative that we are teaching the rising generation to be free. They cannot be free if they do not understand our nation's foundations and what makes America, America. The concept of American exceptionalism has been lost because most schools are not teaching the Constitution, the Declaration of Independence, or true American history. America would not exist if there had been no Bible. We must teach our young people to be proud to be Americans and what makes our country great!
I support Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI).
Strongly Disagree
DEI is detrimental to our society because it teaches people that they should be valued based on their skin color rather than on their skills, talents, and content of their character. Who a person is on the inside, is way more important than what a person looks like or what their background is. We have lost the concept of hard work and merit, and have actually cheapened the contributions of colored Americans by telling them that they will be awarded promotions just because of their skin color.
I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.
Strongly Agree
The government's role is to protect our God Given rights so we can be free, not to control and regulate people's lives. The only power the federal government should have are those listed in the Constitution. The Dep. of Ed. is not in the Const. and is therefore a power that government has given itself. We need to take back that power and give it to the states, local communities, and parents so they can do what is best for their children without the gov't telling them what they can and cannot do.
Please list in order the following priorities in relation to the role of a K-12 public school (omitting any that do not apply): American History, Art & Music, Civics, Critical Race Theory, Foreign Language, Gender Identity, Information Technology, Language Arts, Mathematics, Personal Finances, Physical Fitness, Political Activism, Science, Sexuality, Social Emotional Learning, Vocational Learning
Language Arts, Mathematics, American History, Civics, Science, Character Education, Art & Music, Physical Fitness, Personal Finances (HS level), Vocational Learning (HS level), Foreign Language, Information Technology (HS level). The rest has no place in schools.
The state should fund education by allowing dollars to follow the child instead of the bureaucracy, through a program which allows parents the freedom to choose their child's school – public, private, or homeschool.
Agree
I believe that parents should receive a tax break that would be dedicated to schooling for every child. Then the parents would use that money to choose whatever school is best for that child including public, private, or homeschool. The only reason I am not a strongly agree on this one is because I do not want the state to control any part of those dollars by adding strings attached and forcing parents and schools to teach certain curriculum in order to receive the funding for their schools.
Which should students have: equity of outcomes or equality of opportunities?
Students should have equality of opportunities. It is impossible to have equity of outcomes because students must take responsibility for their own learning. Whatever they put into learning, is what they will get out of learning. You can provide students the same opportunities and they have the choice of whether or not they will take them. When you try to ensure equity of outcomes, you inevitably pull the standards down to make everyone equal, bringing your highest achievers down.
Which type of written parental consent should be obtained before students are taught courses such as Comprehensive Sex Education (CSE)? (A) Opt-In. (B) Opt-Out. (C) None.
(A) Opt-In. Honestly, these courses should not be taught at all! This is completely inappropriate.
2ND AMENDMENT
Faculty who are licensed to carry and have had ongoing training should be allowed to carry guns at school in order to respond to an active shooter situation.
Strongly Agree
Yes, our second amendment was put into place so that people could defend themselves and their communities. The safest place is the place where criminals know that people are armed. Gun-free zones are the most dangerous places because criminals know that they will probably not encounter must resistance. It was not too long ago, that everyone would bring their rifles to school. There were no school shootings because everyone was armed. Schools would be much safer with armed, trained faculty.
OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES
In the event of a pandemic, school districts can mandate whatever health precautions they deem necessary (including masks and vaccines) to protect students and staff.
Strongly Disagree
No, schools should not mandate health precautions, especially not masks and vaccines. These decisions should be made by the parents and they can choose how to handle the plandemic. Schools should maintain clean facilities and encourage good hygiene, such as handwashing and cleaning desks and surfaces; but no other medical precautions should be forced on a child.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
VALUES
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a born-again, spirit-filled believer who makes every decision based on my faith in Christ and the Bible. Jesus is my Lord and Savior and I strive to be obedient to his calling and to stand for Biblical truth. I am not afraid to profess my faith because without Jesus I am nothing, and I credit Him with every good thing that I have in life. I believe God has called me for such a time as this and that I am a voice for truth. I believe that parents have the full responsibility of raising their children and that children are a gift from the Lord. We must protect our children from all ungodliness, which is why I am on the school board. Our country has lost it's fear of God and its moral compass, and it is time for us to stand for truth.
Who is responsible for teaching sexual education to children, and what is the appropriate age when it should be taught?
Parents are responsible for teaching sexual education to children when they are ready to be an adult and start a family. Parents decide when their child is mature enough to handle the content.
If you support the teaching of Sex Ed, please answer the following question: Sexual education should include these topics (list all that apply and add your own, if needed) -- abortion methods and side effects; abstinence; consent; contraceptive methods; human anatomy/the reproductive system; physical and emotional health outcomes; sex acts and pleasures of sex; sexual orientation and gender identity; stages of pregnancy and fetal development
Abstinence, human anatomy/the reproductive system, stages of pregnancy and fetal development, how awful abortion is (killing of a child and side affects to the mother). If these are taught in schools, they would need to be only at the high school level with parent Opt-in.
Children have a right to reach maturity without chemical or surgical castration, which would damage their healthy bodies through surgeries and may cause a life-long dependence on cross-sex hormones.
Choose not to answer
This is appalling and is child abuse. No child should ever undergo these procedures. This is pure evil and should be immediately stopped.
Children have the right to be protected from sexual grooming (including drag shows and explicit materials) in schools and libraries.
Strongly Agree
Yes, sexually explicitly material is pornography and should NEVER be allowed in schools. We must protect our children from evil and images that would pollute their minds.
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman essential to the formation and sustaining of a civil and prosperous society.
Strongly Agree
Yes, we have lost this concept in America. The nuclear family is under attack and our society is suffering the consequences of sexual promiscuity. Families are the backbone of any prosperous society. Strong families create strong communities which create a strong nation. Studies show that when children have a mother and a father in the home, they are less likely to commit crimes, be mentally unstable, be addicted to drugs and alcohol, and have children out of wedlock.
Parents have the fundamental right to raise their child in accordance with their beliefs and values, including the right to make decisions about the child's education and healthcare.
Strongly Agree
Please see previous responses.
Parents should have full and timely access to any and all records, including school and medical records, associated with their minor children.
Strongly Agree
Please see previous responses.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
No, people must prove that they are who they say they are to ensure election integrity. Only citizens of the country should be able to vote and they must prove who they are to vote. Our country depends on fair elections and without photo ID, you open the door to potential election fraud.
EQUALITY
Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.
Strongly Agree
Absolutely! As a board member, I recently voted for a policy that does not allow biological males to compete on female sports teams. Boys do not belong in girls bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority house, women's shelters, prison, or any other sensitive spaces. Have we lost all common sense? Why in the world would be believe that it is ok for this to be happening? We must protect our girls and maintain their safety.
