RIGHT TO LIFE

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

Life begins when DNA is present at the moment of conception.

What role should the school serve in helping a student with an unwanted or crisis pregnancy?

Only parents, not schools, have the sole authority to provide support during an unplanned pregnancy.

ECONOMY

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

Private property rights are the foundation for encouraging individuals to invest, take risks, and enhance their assets. This powerful mechanism fosters a thriving cycle of success that enables everyone to prosper together!

What is your position on government funding of public education from Pre-K through college?

I am deeply concerned about the impact of bureaucratic mismanagement and inflexibility, as these issues can significantly stifle innovation and limit our ability to respond effectively to the needs of local communities.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Teachers should be required to refer to students by pronouns which are misaligned with their gender at birth even if it would violate the teacher's moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

Teachers should have the freedom to express their beliefs, including how they refer to students. Forcing them to use specific pronouns that conflict with their moral or religious views can infringe on their rights and lead to legal challenges. Courts have recognized this as "compelled speech." It's important to create an environment that respects everyone's beliefs while promoting understanding and compassion.

EDUCATION

Abortion and gender-affirming providers, including Planned Parenthood, should be a resource for instruction or services in the school.

Strongly Disagree

Abortion and gender-affirming care resources, including Planned Parenthood, should not be present in schools. Parents and qualified healthcare professionals best address these essential topics in private settings. By adopting this stance, schools can foster a traditional educational environment, ensuring that sensitive discussions occur in the home. This approach confidently promotes a positive learning atmosphere without the distraction of controversy.

Consistent discipline creates a safe and orderly environment, which is essential for student learning.

Strongly Agree

Consistent discipline is crucial for student academic success, as it fosters responsibility, focus, and effective study habits. Clear behavioral expectations enhance concentration and lead to outstanding achievements. Research indicates that disciplined students are more engaged and excel academically. Inconsistency breeds distractions and undermines performance. We must recognize the vital role of consistency in developing successful learners!

Educators should give students a thorough education in America's founding documents and cultivate American patriotism.

Strongly Agree

Understanding America’s foundational documents and fostering patriotism empowers students to be engaged, informed citizens dedicated to protecting and enriching our incredible republic!

I support Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI).

Strongly Disagree

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives can create division by emphasizing group identity over common values. These policies may foster a victim mentality and introduce ideological biases. As a result, tensions can arise between groups, leading to reverse discrimination and restrictions on free speech. DEI initiatives often heighten polarization by focusing on differences rather than similarities.

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Strongly Agree

We should eliminate the Department of Education, as it is unconstitutional, ineffective, and costly. Doing so would return control of education to states, communities and families.

Please list in order the following priorities in relation to the role of a K-12 public school (omitting any that do not apply): American History, Art & Music, Civics, Critical Race Theory, Foreign Language, Gender Identity, Information Technology, Language Arts, Mathematics, Personal Finances, Physical Fitness, Political Activism, Science, Sexuality, Social Emotional Learning, Vocational Learning

The state should fund education by allowing dollars to follow the child instead of the bureaucracy, through a program which allows parents the freedom to choose their child's school – public, private, or homeschool.

Strongly Agree

School choice can enhance educational quality and foster innovation in public schools by creating competition. This competition encourages schools to improve their quality and efficiency to attract students. Research indicates that options like charter schools and vouchers can positively affect student achievement. Additionally, it can promote merit-based pay for teachers.

Which should students have: equity of outcomes or equality of opportunities?

Equality of opportunities aligns with fundamental American principles of fairness and individual responsibility, setting the stage for students to achieve their full potential independently.

Which type of written parental consent should be obtained before students are taught courses such as Comprehensive Sex Education (CSE)? (A) Opt-In. (B) Opt-Out. (C) None.

Opt-in respects parents' fundamental right to be in control sensitive aspects of human sexuality.

VALUES

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I have a deep passion for my Christian beliefs based on the Bible. I believe in one eternal Triune God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—and see the Bible as God's inspired guide for life and faith. I hold that salvation comes through Jesus Christ alone, whose sacrifice and resurrection offer eternal life to those who repent and trust in Him. My values center around prayer, service, and kindness, and I cherish the church as the body of Christ, united in faith and devoted to worship and meaningful ministry.

Who is responsible for teaching sexual education to children, and what is the appropriate age when it should be taught?

Parents are the primary source of their children's sexual education. They begin teaching fundamental concepts early on, gradually building up to more complex ideas as children grow, all while instilling traditional values such as abstinence along the way.

If you support the teaching of Sex Ed, please answer the following question: Sexual education should include these topics (list all that apply and add your own, if needed) -- abortion methods and side effects; abstinence; consent; contraceptive methods; human anatomy/the reproductive system; physical and emotional health outcomes; sex acts and pleasures of sex; sexual orientation and gender identity; stages of pregnancy and fetal development

Did not answer

Children have a right to reach maturity without chemical or surgical castration, which would damage their healthy bodies through surgeries and may cause infertility and a life-long dependence on cross-sex hormones.

Strongly Agree

Due to significant health concerns and the irreversible nature of certain medical interventions, I beleive children should be allowed to grow naturally. I believe that children should not be exposed to potentially harmful treatments that permanently alter their bodies before they reach full maturity and can provide informed consent.

Children have the right to be protected from hypersexualization (including drag shows and explicit materials) in schools and libraries.

Strongly Agree

It is important to protect children from hypersexualization in schools and libraries. Exposure to explicit materials can harm their understanding of healthy sexual development. Many states are passing legislation to establish stricter review processes and encourage parental involvement, aiming to safeguard childhood innocence rather than promote censorship.

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman essential to the formation and sustaining of a civil and prosperous society.

Strongly Agree

The Bible describes marriage as a sacred union between one man and one woman, which is essential for creating and maintaining a civil and prosperous society. While some people may choose not to follow this belief, it is their personal choice in their journey with God.

Parents have the fundamental right to raise their child in accordance with their beliefs and values, including the right to make decisions about the child's education and healthcare.

Strongly Agree

Upholding parental rights empowers families, nurtures children's well-being through shared values, and strengthens the essential role families play in our society's foundation.

Parents should have full and timely access to any and all records, including school and medical records, associated with their minor children.

Strongly Agree

Parents should have complete and timely access to all records related to their minor children, including school and medical records, as this is essential for fulfilling their fundamental role as primary caregivers and decision-makers.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

Requiring a valid voter ID helps ensure each vote is legitimate, maintaining the fairness, accuracy, and credibility of elections. It protects the fundamental principle of “one person, one vote,” which is essential for democracy.

EQUALITY

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports.

Strongly Agree

Protecting female sports opportunities is crucial to uphold fairness, safety, and the integrity of athletic achievements.

Biological males should not be allowed to occupy women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, women's shelters, prisons, or sororities.

Strongly Agree

We can not undermine the purpose of these spaces, designed to protect women. Maintaining sex-segregated facilities is essential to uphold privacy, dignity, and security for women and girls.

ABOUT YOU

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

No

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

NO

I voted in these primaries and general elections:

2014 General Election 2016 General Election 2018 General Election 2020 General Election 2022 General Election

I choose not to vote in primaries because only educated voters should make the decision who is running for our party. Recently after retirement, I have become more active and educated. I plan on voting in all Republican primaries moving forward. I hope to help educate others on the differences of each candidate for republican primaries.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

I am conservative rather than an ultra conservative because I like to take a balanced approach to change. As a conservative, I value and believe in the core principles of Christian family values, personal responsibility, limited government, and free markets while recognizing the need for pragmatic and respectful conversations.

2ND AMENDMENT

Faculty who are licensed to carry and have had ongoing training should be allowed to carry guns at school in order to respond to an active shooter situation.

Strongly Agree

Faculty or staff members who have completed the same police training certification and proficiency as law enforcement officers should be allowed to carry licensed firearms in schools.

OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES

In the event of a pandemic, school districts can mandate whatever health precautions they deem necessary (including masks and vaccines) to protect students and staff.

Strongly Disagree

I believe that mandates for vaccines or masks in schools overreach personal rights and parental choice.
