OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

To prevent the death of the mother

Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.

Agree

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Agree

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

ECONOMY

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Agree

Overregulation is suffocating innovation. We can keep our businesses safe, ethical, and accountable without drowning them in repetitive, costly regulations. As a small business owner, I know the burden this places on entrepreneurs. My goal is to create a climate where innovators can thrive, small businesses can grow, and Minnesotans benefit from the jobs, and the opportunities they provide.

What is your position on the minimum wage?

California’s $20 fast-food wage proves big government mandates hurt workers. An estimated 18,000 jobs lost shows that forcing wage hikes kills opportunity and punishes the very people it's supposed to help. Let the market decide.

Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?

No

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

None, the First Amendment protects the free exercise of religion

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

In a free market, if people disagree with a business, they simply won’t buy from it—and without sales, that business will shut down

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

None. The reality is healthcare needs to be more affordable. If someone can prove a path to universal coverage that reduces the burden on citizens, that’s a win. But if going back to a more private system while keeping Medicare and Medicaid makes healthcare cheaper, then that’s the route we should take. The goal is high-quality, affordable care—how we get there matters less than getting it done.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

None. This is a personal choice and should remain that way, except in specific cases like the military, where certain vaccines—such as smallpox or anthrax during earlier conflicts—were required due to geographic and operational risks

NATIONAL SECURITY

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

The Chinese Communist Party poses a significant threat to the United States. It endangers our military security, steals intellectual property, launches cyberattacks, and jeopardizes our economic position worldwide.

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

Yes, the U.S.-Israel relationship is vital. Israel is our closest ally in the Middle East and a strong defender of democracy and freedom. Supporting Israel boosts our national security, counters terrorism, and promotes regional stability

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Agree

EDUCATION

The state should fund education by allowing dollars to follow the child through programs which protect parents' freedom to choose their child's school – public, private, or homeschool.

Strongly Agree

The state should allocate education funding to follow the student, thereby safeguarding parental rights to choose the most suitable educational setting—be it public, private, or homeschooling—while fostering accountability and improving educational quality through healthy competition.

VALUES

Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from abuse, including gender ideology, grooming, and bodily mutilation.

Strongly Agree

Children are the most vulnerable members of society and deserve strong protections from all forms of abuse. This includes safeguarding them from harmful influences such as gender ideology, grooming, and irreversible medical procedures that can cause lasting physical and psychological harm.

Parents should have the right to make decisions for their minor children.

Agree

Parents have the fundamental right to make decisions concerning the care, education, and wellbeing of their minor children without undue government interference.

Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.

Strongly Disagree

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Disagree

While marriage has deep cultural and religious significance, as a Republican, I also recognize that the government’s role is to protect the civil rights of all citizens. The legal definition of marriage should reflect the principles of equality and individual freedom under the law

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a Christian and hold my values deeply. I believe every person deserves respect and dignity, regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation, political beliefs, or socioeconomic status. We are all human and should be treated with kindness and fairness. People should be judged not by their differences, but by their character and how they treat others—that’s what truly matters.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

Voting shouldn’t require less identification than boarding a plane—the process that empowers citizens to shape our nation’s future demands the highest standards of security and trust

States should join the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact which makes the Electoral College irrelevant.

Strongly Disagree

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Racism has no place in America—period. It tears apart the fabric of our society, destroys trust, and threatens our nation’s security. As your candidate, I pledge to stand firm against all forms of division and work tirelessly to unite and protect every American.

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? (Select all that apply) A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost. C) Stricter environmental laws undermine U.S. energy independence and deter development of reliable electricity sources. D) Climate change is real and requires urgent policy action.

We should invest in research for long-lasting, sustainable energy sources—but never at the expense of America’s energy independence. Our priority must be a strong, reliable energy supply that keeps us secure and competitive.

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

Nuclear energy is America’s safest, most efficient power source. It ensures energy independence, supports economic growth, and provides reliable, clean power. We must prioritize nuclear to secure our future and maintain leadership in energy

ABOUT YOU

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

No

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

No

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

The fundamental role of government is to protect individual liberties, ensure national security, and foster an environment where free markets can flourish. We believe in a government that upholds the rule of law while empowering citizens to achieve their full potential.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.

Disagree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

Every law-abiding citizen has a fundamental right to own a firearm, a right guaranteed by the Constitution. This right is essential to our freedom and security, and it must be protected. Any attempt to infringe upon it undermines the very foundation of our democracy.

Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?

Yes

To ensure our children's safety, teachers who are willing and able should be allowed to carry firearms in schools. However, this responsibility must come with rigorous initial training and mandatory six-month renewals to ensure they are prepared to act in emergencies and protect our students.
