I think we all have a part to play in the wellbeing of those that , fall on hard times or are less fortunate. The Lord reminds, us that the poor will always be with us. And when we fail to support them, I believe we do both mankind and God a disservice.

I feel property taxes should be better utilized for the benefit of those who pay them. It would be my goal to seek out solutions, such as providing seed money to Neighborhood Associations to help create a better quality of life starting at the grassroots level. I believe this can be done without any increase to the property taxes that are currently being assessed.

Government should not discriminate against individuals, organizations, or business owners who affirm marriage as between one man and one woman.

As hard working Americans, I believe we all have the right to our own beliefs and to determine the moral standards of our life in every aspect. I believe that marriage is instituted by God. And He commanded Adam and Eve to "Be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth." Procreation can only happen the way God designed and intended. It takes one man and one woman to start, nurture and grow the most important foundation, and that is Family.
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

City officials should have the right to proclaim their city a sanctuary city for illegal aliens.

I believe that every city has it's own collective values, and that the city is a municipal corporation under the Constitution and laws of the State of Kansas. Kansas has a Home Rule Amendment that empowers cities to determine their local affairs and government. This allows cities to exercise a significant degree of self-government Wichita can also use charter ordinances to exempt itself from certain state laws that are not uniformly applicable to all cities. We have a say in what we represent

I believe, that there is one true and living God. And that His Son Jesus, took on flesh and dwelt among mankind,. Died and rose the third day.. He came to show us the way I believe that the Bible is God's inspired written word, for me that is Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth. I align my life with the principles and teaching of our Lord and Savior Jesus, The Christ.
Children have the right to be protected from sexually explicit materials in publicly funded libraries, including school libraries.

We need accountability in our voting system, and I think producing a government ID is part of the process.

When a child is conceived , the gender is set in the child's DNA and no amount of surgery or drugs can ever change who they are. They will always have the physical strengths, abilities, and yes the natural desires of a man, will be a part of their lives. If one is born a man but choses to live life as a woman, it will never make him a woman. Women have already been violated by allowing this behavior. Transgenders should have their own facilities and sports.

It's time for people of all nationalities, to come together and learn each others culture. To put to rest the racism that has existed for far too long. When we need an organ transplant, or a pint of blood, it's not based on the color of ones skin and neither should anything else be. God loves us all equally and to please Him, so must we.

The primary purpose of government is to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all it's citizens. In essence the government acts as a framework for society, creating rules and regulations that promote a functioning and just community.

I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.

I believe that we need the police department. But we need to invest more in diversity and mental health de-escalation training. We also need to do extensive background checks and mental evaluations of all law enforcement applicants. More community engagement done by the police department. Getting to know the officers that protect and serve, face to face and by name, promotes trust and fosters friendships.
