QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

The circumstances in which abortion should be allowed are when the life of the mother, unborn child, or both is under direct threat and there is no other foreseeable outcome.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Neutral

Organizations like planned parenthood have provided other community services such as access to family planning and counseling. Removing all title X grants could cause major interruptions in preventative care and lifesaving interventions for members of the community who currently use their services.

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Neutral

Although a complex subject, as a previous healthcare provider and educator it is your duty to assess the patient individually and attempt to alleviate suffering. The benefits of "aid in dying" laws for individuals that have no other outcome if regulated properly could potentially end an elongated and unnecessary suffering of those with incurable or chronic diseases.

Did not answer

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary.
