QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

I believe in protecting the sanctity of life from conception, as every life is precious. However, in rare cases, such as when a mother’s life is at risk, I support limited exceptions after careful medical consideration. I also advocate for expanding adoption services, improving maternal healthcare, and supporting families to reduce the need for abortion, ensuring compassionate solutions for both mothers and their unborn children.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Agree

I believe taxpayer funds should prioritize healthcare services that unite us, like maternal and child health programs or community clinics, rather than funding controversial providers like Planned Parenthood. This ensures public money supports widely agreed-upon needs while respecting diverse views on abortion. I’d advocate for redirecting funds to expand access to prenatal care and family support services to help mothers and babies thrive.

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Disagree

I believe healthcare should focus on preserving life and supporting patients through quality palliative care and mental health services, not legalizing assisted suicide or euthanasia. These laws risk pressuring vulnerable individuals and undermine informed consent. Instead, we should invest in compassionate care that helps people live with dignity, ensuring no one feels their life is a burden.

ECONOMY

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

I support simplifying the tax code to make it easier for everyone to understand and comply with, reducing the burden of navigating complex rules. We should also decrease the tax burden on working-class families through targeted tax cuts or credits, helping them keep more of their hard-earned money. These changes would promote fairness, support economic stability for families, and encourage growth without adding unnecessary complexity.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

Cut non-defense waste, reduce welfare with jobs—Reagan said, ‘the best social program is a productive job for anyone who is willing to work’—and limit defense spending on foreign conflicts, prioritizing working families’ economic stability.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Disagree

Government-funded college inflates costs, saddling Americans with crippling loans. We should prioritize affordable education and value trade professions like plumbing and welding, which are in high demand. This saves taxpayers and supports working families.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Disagree

: “James Madison championed freedom of conscience as a core right, believing no one should be forced to act against their beliefs. I agree—individuals and businesses have a moral duty to act for the highest good, as they see it. Forcing service violates this liberty. We should protect everyone’s right to live by their conscience, ensuring fairness and respect for all.

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

There are no circumstances in which churches should be closed by the government. The government should never prevent worshippers from gathering.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

None- healthcare management is a personal choice and should not be mandated by the government. The government misguiding the American people about the safety to the covid-19 vaccine is a perfect example of this.

NATIONAL SECURITY

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

The United States must protect the right to life for all, regardless of religious affiliation, as a core constitutional principle. To eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism, we should strengthen national security through enhanced intelligence sharing, targeted military operations against terrorist groups like ISIS and al-Qaeda, and robust border security. U.S. citizens have a right to know who enters our country, requiring strict vetting of immigrants and visitors to prevent terrorist infiltration. By disrupting terror financing, promoting deradicalization, and fostering international cooperation, we can ensure safety while upholding life and liberty for all.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Disagree

I support world peace, ending all wars and denounce antisemitism.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

A country without a border is no country at all. A strong physical border is essential to protect the right to life for all in the U.S., regardless of religious affiliation. Citizens have a right to know who enters. Expanding walls, Border Patrol, and technology ensures safety, stops illegal crossings, and combats trafficking, preserving our sovereignty.

EDUCATION

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

Strongly Agree

Our country is in desperate need of education reform. As a mother of three daughters and a former single mother, I have utilized all methods of education; public, private, & home schooling. The recent attack on home school parents in Virginia is unacceptable. Parents have a fundamental right to direct the education of their children and I fully support our right to choose.

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

: “John Adams said, ‘Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people.’ Judeo-Christian values provide the moral framework needed for limited government, ensuring the right to life for all, regardless of faith.

I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.

Disagree

Identity is negotiated through relationships with others, not self-created. Adding gender identity as a protected class undermines this, disrupting societal norms and legal clarity. Existing non-discrimination laws protect all without redefining identity, preserving cohesion and fairness.

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Agree

: As a Christian, I believe marriage is a God-ordained, sacred union of one man and one woman, rooted in biblical truth. No government has the authority to alter this divine institution. It forms the foundation of family and society, promoting stability and moral order.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. I am a member of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. We believe God's love for humanity is freely given through the gift of Jesus Christ, not human works.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

Photo ID is required to drive, fly, bank, or buy alcohol, yet some argue we don’t need it to elect our nation’s leaders. Voter ID laws ensure only eligible citizens vote, protecting election integrity. Without verification, we risk fraud, undermining democracy. IDs are standard and fair.

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

Paper ballots, in person (with exceptions for military and the disabled) and would consider a national holiday for voting one day of the year.

EQUALITY

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

CRT wrongly labels U.S. institutions as inherently racist, fostering division over unity. Our nation, while imperfect, is built on principles of equal opportunity. Focusing on individual responsibility and shared values, rooted in faith, better addresses inequality.

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Racism exists but is not a primary threat to domestic security. Crime, terrorism, and border security pose greater risks. Promoting unity through shared values and equal opportunity, not divisive narratives, strengthens our nation.

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Disagree

Reparations based on race are unfair, punishing individuals for historical wrongs they didn’t commit. Equal opportunity and personal responsibility, guided by Christian values, better promote justice. Resources should focus on education and job creation for all.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. I am an advocate for protecting our environment. We currently have a landfill crisis in America and need innovation to fix this problem. However, I do believe it can be done without added regulation. Our streams and oceans are currently polluted with trash and regulations are not fixing the problem. This is a subject that I am passionate about and do not believe added regulations will fix the problem.

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Agree

I do support hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources. However, I believe the future of clean energy will be found in innovation and investments in small modular reactors. Nuclear energy is the cleanest most efficient form of energy. Solar energy and wind turbines are the least efficient forms of energy and parts cannot be recycled. Currently, turbine blades and solar panels end up in our landfill contributing to our landfill crisis.

ABOUT YOU

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

Government’s purpose is to protect individual liberties, ensure national security, and uphold the rule of law, as guided by constitutional principles. It should foster order and opportunity while staying limited, respecting personal and faith-based responsibilities.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

My family moved to Iowa from Yorktown, VA for approximately two years for a career opportunities. During our time there I initiated several conservative and bi-partisan community events. https://iowafrw.org/nfrw-charters-new-carroll-county-area-club/ https://www.1380kcim.com/2024/03/28/carroll-county-republican-women-celebrate-success-of-first-vietnam-veteran-breakfast-event/ https://www.facebook.com/share/p/15hs7swhRT/ https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1DRNnT8njD/ https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1C2QSM97qg/ https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1HSVWDiHe8/ https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1JREysb7o6/ https://www.1380kcim.com/2024/04/01/a-free-presentation-and-movie-about-human-trafficking-in-iowa-will-be-held-this-thursday-at-the-swan-lake-education-center/ https://www.1380kcim.com/2023/07/10/santa-maria-winery-to-host-seminar-on-human-trafficking-awareness-and-prevention-thursday-evening/

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

I am a blue collar candidate. I am a 1st generation college graduate. My father built, managed, and worked for his roofing company until he was 70 years old and my mother was a housekeeper at the local hospital. I completed my degree while raising two daughters as a single mother and working full-time. I understand the impacts of working a physically demining job while raising a family. Most legislators do not understand what it takes to provide for a family as a working class citizen in 2025- I do. I will initiate bills that help the working class and the forgotten citizens of Virginia. I will be a voice for blue collar families.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Agree

Qualified immunity protects officers acting within policy, ensuring they can maintain order without fear of frivolous lawsuits. Strong law enforcement is vital for safe communities, as my faith values justice and security.

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Strongly Disagree

Redirecting police funds weakens law enforcement, risking public safety. Mental health programs are important but should be separately funded. Strong policing, guided by justice, ensures secure communities for all.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

The Second Amendment protects our right to bear arms for self-defense and liberty. No new restrictions are needed; enforcing existing laws and addressing crime roots like mental health preserves safety without infringing rights.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Strongly Disagree

Suing firearms dealers and manufacturers for criminal misuse shifts blame from perpetrators, threatening Second Amendment rights. Accountability lies with individuals, not lawful businesses. Enforce existing laws to address violence.
