QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

Life is precious and deserves our protection.

What role should the school serve in helping a student with an unwanted or crisis pregnancy?

It is my belief the role of our schools is to provide academic education. It is not to provide resources or recommendations for reproductive health. Caring adults can lend support to students who are in this situation. They should always point the child back to the parents. It is the parents role to help, support, and guide the student in these situations.

ECONOMY

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

What is your position on government funding of public education from Pre-K through college?

Did not answer

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Teachers should be required to instruct students on mandated curriculum even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

I could not in good conscience require teachers to violate their moral or religious beliefs in order to stick with the curriculum. I also don't know why this problem should arise if we are indeed teaching the children an appropriate academic curriculum! We need to get back on a straight path of academics in our schools.

EDUCATION

Abortion and gender-affirming providers, including Planned Parenthood, should be a resource for instruction or services in the school.

Strongly Disagree

None of this belongs in our school systems. It is the role of the education system to provide a standard academic training. This has nothing to do with gender, abortion or other reproduction resources.

Consistent discipline creates a safe and orderly environment, which is essential for student learning.

Strongly Agree

As a trauma therapist research backs up the NEED for safety in order for the higher thinking area of the brain to be able to engage and learn. Safety is paramount to a persons ability to learn and retain what is learned.

Do you believe print and digital material available or presented to students should be easily accessible for public review, including those without children enrolled in school?

Yes

Any taxpayer should have access to what is being taught. Anything less is made suspect that something is being hidden.

Educators should give students a thorough education in America's founding documents and cultivate American patriotism.

Strongly Agree

Absolutely! this should not even be a question. Scriptures tell us over and over to REMEMBER where they came from and what they went through to get where they were. The same holds true for us as Americans. We have rich history filled with men and women of high character that needs to be remembered and modeled for our children.

I support Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI).

Strongly Disagree

NO.

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Strongly Agree

Yes, I do believe this would better serve our children because the closer the administration of something is to the working parts of it the more efficient and productive it will be. Parents need to be running the schools their kids are in. They are the ones with the greatest investment...their children.

Please list in order the following priorities in relation to the role of a K-12 public school (omitting any that do not apply): American History, Art & Music, Civics, Critical Race Theory, Foreign Language, Gender Identity, Information Technology, Language Arts, Mathematics, Personal Finances, Physical Fitness, Political Activism, Science, Sexuality, Social Emotional Learning, Vocational Learning

The state should fund education by allowing dollars to follow the child instead of the bureaucracy, through a program which allows parents the freedom to choose their child's school – public, private, or homeschool.

Strongly Agree

Freedom of school choice creates a need to provide a service (public school) that is competitive and must rise in its academic excellence in order to compete in the market. It creates a need to improve. It creates a hierarchy in schools, and public schools need to improve in order to draw students to want to participate in them.

Which should students have: equity of outcomes or equality of opportunities?

Definitely in the opportunities. You have to put in the work to get the outcome. It should never be given to you, but always earned. This creates pride in their accomplishments.

Which type of written parental consent should be obtained before students are taught courses such as Comprehensive Sex Education (CSE)? (A) Opt-In. (B) Opt-Out. (C) None.

A Opt-In.

VALUES

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a born again Christian. I believe that God Father/Christ/Holy Spirit is the creator of all things and has authority over all things. In the beginning God created man in His own image, male and female, these are not interchangeable. My values align with Scripture believing my conduct is a reflection on Christ and I seek to honor Him in all things (though I am not perfect I am forgiven).

Who is responsible for teaching sexual education to children, and what is the appropriate age when it should be taught?

This is role and responsibility of parents. They should teach it when they feel it is appropriate for their own child and should not be dictated by any school curriculum.

If you support the teaching of Sex Ed, please answer the following question: Sexual education should include these topics (list all that apply and add your own, if needed) -- abortion methods and side effects; abstinence; consent; contraceptive methods; human anatomy/the reproductive system; physical and emotional health outcomes; sex acts and pleasures of sex; sexual orientation and gender identity; stages of pregnancy and fetal development

N/A

Children have a right to reach maturity without chemical or surgical castration, which would damage their healthy bodies through surgeries and may cause a life-long dependence on cross-sex hormones.

Strongly Agree

Children have the right to be protected from sexual grooming (including drag shows and explicit materials) in schools and libraries.

Strongly Agree

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman essential to the formation and sustaining of a civil and prosperous society.

Strongly Agree

Parents have the fundamental right to raise their child in accordance with their beliefs and values, including the right to make decisions about the child's education and healthcare.

Strongly Agree

Parents should have full and timely access to any and all records, including school and medical records, associated with their minor children.

Strongly Agree

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Agree

They should, unfortunately that is part of what allows people to cheat and vote under someone else's name.

EQUALITY

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

They should NOT!
