Religious liberty is a right given to us by God and enumerated in the First Amendment. It was under attack during the Obama and Biden administrations and greater steps must be taken to defend religious liberty in the future. As a Green Beret forced out of the Army for refusing the COVID shot on religious principles, I will be a staunch defender of religious and conscientious rights because I know what it is like to have ones religious freedoms attacked.

Separation of church and state only means that the federal government should not prescribe a certain type of faith for its citizens. The United States is a Christian country founded on Christian principles. Its citizens are allowed to, and should, bring their religious beliefs and morality into the public square. Every individual has the freedom to worship God however they see fit, and the government cannot coerce individuals into any particular belief.

The government should respect the privacy of its citizens as enumerated by the Fourth Amendment. Keeping this database comes with serious privacy concerns.

The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. We should retain a strong military capable of defending the United States and its interests as a deterrent to other countries from threatening or attacking those interests. We are not the world's police and that experiment has failed. We should prioritize other instruments of power such as diplomacy, information, and economic means.

The Chinese Communist Party is the greatest external threat our country faces. We ought to to legislate and enact measures that counter this Chinese threat and maintain a military capable of countering military actions by China.

The United States should do whatever is in the best interest of itself and its citizens. When our interests and goals align with other countries, we can work with those other countries. When they don't, we should not. Israel and the United States have had a relationship since its founding and many of our interests align. When they align we can pursue those mutual objectives, but we should ensure we do not overextend our military or economic resources when it is not in our primary interest.

Islamic terrorism is absolutely a threat to the United States. For these reasons we must oppose Sharia law, expel any and all illegal immigrants who came into this country, and ensure anyone coming to this country properly assimilates.

Due to the gigantic increase in illegal immigration in the tens of millions, we ought to limit the number of legal immigrants we currently accept. This can be limited to immediate nuclear family members of U.S. citizens, genuine asylum seekers undergoing serious persecution, and a very limited number of others based on their ability to contribute to America. We should end the H-1B program, as it displaces American workers, and ban foreign students from adversarial countries.

After college I spent four years in Catholic seminary where I discerned a call to the Catholic priesthood with the intent of becoming an Army chaplain. I am a Christian and an America First constitutional conservative who believes in limited government, individual liberty, and the free market economy. I will fight to reduce the size of the federal government, pay down the debt, protect individuals' civil liberties from government overreach, and support traditional conservative social values. I favor peace through strength with limited interventions only for existential threats. I will fight to secure our elections and for mass deportations.
