Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

This is irrelevant to my race. I will add that I believe such decisions need to be made between a family and their doctor.
What role should the school serve in helping a student with an unwanted or crisis pregnancy?
Schools should support all students and direct students to the resources that would best assist them, starting with parents.
ECONOMY
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
What is your position on government funding of public education from Pre-K through college?
Did not answer
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Teachers should be required to instruct students on mandated curriculum even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Neutral
Curriculum should never be so extreme or biased that it would interfere with a teacher's moral beliefs. If we have a large group of teachers pushing back on curriculum, it's time to reassess the curriculum. Teachers are tasked with helping students learn to be critical thinkers, they should never be expected to push an agenda on their students.
EDUCATION
Abortion and gender-affirming providers, including Planned Parenthood, should be a resource for instruction or services in the school.
Disagree
Support should be offered when needed but always keeping a seat at the table for parents.
Consistent discipline creates a safe and orderly environment, which is essential for student learning.
Strongly Agree
Do you believe print and digital material available or presented to students should be easily accessible for public review, including those without children enrolled in school?
Yes
All tax payers should have the right to see what is being taught in our public schools.
Educators should give students a thorough education in America's founding documents and cultivate American patriotism.
Strongly Agree
I support Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI).
Strongly Disagree
While I absolutely support diversity, equity and inclusion on their own, DEI is not what it sounds to be. I encourage all to research this topic and see the negative impact it has had.
I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Who is responsible for teaching sexual education to children, and what is the appropriate age when it should be taught?
Parents are first and foremost responsible for teaching sex ed to their children. I appreciate the anatomy lessons and basic sex ed taught at school as I know some families aren't as open to such discussions.
If you support the teaching of Sex Ed, please answer the following question: Sexual education should include these topics (list all that apply and add your own, if needed) -- abortion methods and side effects; abstinence; consent; contraceptive methods; human anatomy/the reproductive system; physical and emotional health outcomes; sex acts and pleasures of sex; sexual orientation and gender identity; stages of pregnancy and fetal development
Abstinence, consent, contraceptive methods, human anatomy/the reproductive system, physical and emotional health outcomes, stages of pregnancy and fetal development.

OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES
In the event of a pandemic, school districts can mandate whatever health precautions they deem necessary (including masks and vaccines) to protect students and staff.
Agree
I don't support mandated vaccines and felt students were left in masks far too long.
