QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

Abiding by killing is bad enough. Forcing us to FUND killing is despicable. Right to life is the #2 issue where i implore younger Americans to "get their heads on straight". Please see my video about "Higher Law" for my stance on Abortion at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8rylWhlW7A0

Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.

Choose not to answer

Abortion should NOT involve an MD. Facilitators are solemn executioners / morticians. MDs take an oath to "do no harm". MDs KNOW that in-utero babies feel pain. MDs know taking an abortifacient is killing. Thus MDs are culpable for the death of a human. We can semi-excuse distressed women from this culpability, because for 3 generations, Americans were taught: pre-born baby is "not human" / "unimportant" / "just a cyst" / "won't feel pain". Women taking mifepristone lack mens rea; not MDs

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

Please separate legal from moral. Under the “do not do unto others”, abortion is always wrong. The baby is human, at EVERY stage since conception. Aborting when you can bring an innocent human to life, when others will pay for your prenatal & post-partum care, is at minimum SELFISH. Your convenience does not outweigh suffocating a tiny human. Adopting parents are always available, even for a “deformed” baby. Rape-created baby still has the right to live. YOU might be a date-raped product.

Does the federal government have a role to play in limiting abortion, and if so what federal steps and/or federal legislation would you support?

Abortion is a matter of CRIMINAL LAW. It's arguably pre-meditated killing; and arguably with special circumstances. Criminal laws are NOT under Federal purview. Wisely, the Constitution's framers left criminal law to localities. Though states might have the ability to legislate morality, they shouldn't. States are too large to impose morality on 100% of their citizens. So, restrictions should come from towns, or even mere enclaves, and be based on ZONING. If those governing an enclave don't want an odious practice in town, they can ban clinics, just as enclaves ban industrial smelting, brothels, and poker parlors. As for private in-home abortions using life-ending drugs, let the "higher law" govern. We can't be searching the U.S. mail, Amazon trucks, or the internet for abortifacient orders. We CAN recognize, via real education, that killing an in-utero baby is somewhere between supremely selfish and evil. A more complete "take": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8rylWhlW7A0

ECONOMY

What actions would you take that would allow Americans to retain more of their income and wealth?

Get the government out of EVERY aspect of the economy, except patents. The free market is the best creator of opportunities and wealth. Every government restriction reduces opportunity for people, most restrictions aid a small group of insiders.

Student loan forgiveness unfairly shifts the financial burden to those not responsible for student debt.

Strongly Agree

Biden's underhanded loan forgiveness is buying votes with YOUR tax dollars. Those who DID pay their loans become suckers; those who worked instead of went to school are arguably more deserving than kids who spend 4 to 12 years in "ivory towers" getting fancy degrees. Not ONE elected Democrat objected, showing how todays' Democrat leaders have come unmoored to traditional Democrat values. See: "riots", "trans-ing kids", "dumbing down education", & "defund the police", more Democrat predations.

Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?

No

Errrrr. First, the Constitution does not allow federal money to be used for ANY business investment. The "Commerce Clause" has been BADLY misinterpreted for 90 years. Second, even if empowered (as states are), spending on business is usually UNWISE. Special interests will always take advantage of legislators and bureaucrats. Third ESG criteria, while possibly "nice" for certain groups, is rarely more worthy. When it comes to hiring, funding, and promoting based on race, it's racist.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

"Separation of Church and State" means what Thomas Jefferson meant in 1802...that it's wise to avoid a theocracy. The beauty is that we have never been in danger of this. The 1st Amendment's "no establishment of religion" clause has never been violated at the state or federal level. Local displays of nativity scenes, city halls playing Xmas music, schools teaching Christians' contributions to American history are nowhere close to establishing a religion. SoC&S is a modern knife vs the devout.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

I am a libertarian. If a caterer finds adorning cakes for gay weddings repulsive, it’s his right to say “no”. Remember, the whole controversy comes from Leftist leaders – gay couples can always find a service happy to take their business. Modern internet publicity means someone who is irrational or hateful about his denials doesn’t do business for long. Within a week of a business saying, “we don’t serve Black people”, it will be abandoned by almost every White family in town.

HEALTHCARE

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

Never. At least never for the government. Private school trustees might say "we are going to require vaccinations". Such schools will then lose pupils to other schools. Ditto a private business. I'm ambivalent about businesses getting govt aid.

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

D. Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded. Federal funding is unwise, unfair and un-constitutional. Ditto Social Security. All three systems are by ANY business definition, bankrupt. None can support young payers, who are getting fleeced now. Their money can get them a mortgage, start a business, fund better education, or a nice vacation. Make these systems optional. By age 25, if you show you are responsible, u r exempt.

NATIONAL SECURITY

With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.

C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own GREATNESS unless in imminent danger. "Sovereignty" changed to "GREATNESS" because sovereignty is not an issue. Returning to "great", when America can again be the world's light, should be paramount. It's also good foreign policy, to EXPORT democracy, culture, and good values. But we need to reinstill them. Thus DOMESTIC repair first -- let other nations fight their own wars.

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Agree

This would be a "strongly agree" except i think even the Chinese leaders can be suborned by the riches & power that come with America-style capitalism & American markets. China is the strongest power on the globe now; their leaders laugh while we fret over "equity" & "trans-rights" while they quietly influence more third world and now even first-world nations. China has come to dominate the world without a shot fired. Should shots be needed, its 1-child policy yielded 30,000,000 expendable men

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

Absolutely. Israel is the only beacon of good governance in the arc from Algeria to Pakistan. Israel is the most "American" nation east of Portugal. Israel is a refuge for Jews, and CAN be a refuge for Arabs abused by their own governments. Our policies Hamas, Hizbollah, and "Palestineans" say more about American values than about Israel's worthiness.

What are the causes of decline in U.S. military recruitment and retention?

As a high schooler who might have enlisted put it to me "we don't kick butt any more". That was before the failures to stop illegals at our border, stop Al-Shebab from killing innocent Nigerians, & stop goat-herders from beating our allies in Afghanistan. And Before Mark Milley determined that LGBT demands were more important than studying enemies' technical systems, before the JCS approved flight suits for pregnant pilots, before Biden elevated a confused man, "Rachel" Levine, to a high post.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

Chuck Schumer doesn't want three strange families living in his home; neither do families in Waco, Tucson, and Santa Fe. Border security starts when we treat illegals as invaders, and yes, upon sufficient warning, shoot to kill. But...the border is a small aspect - far more immigrants overstay their tourist, work, & student visas with no repercussions. 90% of immigrants are good, but we need to stop all immigration for 6 months & reform our practices. End gov't Welfare, enforce l

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

1) Learned Basic English 2) have done something good for their nation back home 3) publicly assert American values Let them in conditionally. That means zero taking welfare, with paying the cost of schools and hospitals they use, and with fellow citizens monitoring them; for seven years this is "second class citizenship". But it's better than where they are trying to leave.

EDUCATION

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

Strongly Agree

Democrat leaders will lie and claim their public school is better than the top private school in the area. Everyone else knows differently. Universal school choice is best. We should slowly move to have parents pay for 100% of their kids' schooling, potentially armed with need-based vouchers. Work this in over 10 years. Until then whatever public money is spent should be spent by parents on their CHOICE of school and after-school activities. Dems' fealty for bad tchr unions is despicable.

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Strongly Agree

I would eliminate all federal departments besides State, Defense, Treasury and Atty General, but this is an EASY early one for elimination. From DOE we've gotten "Common Core", "DEI", males in girls' locker rooms, and dumbing down in the name of "fairness". Conservatives failed to pay attention to who was rising to superintendent and school board positions. For urban and suburban schools, it's too late; rural schools and private schools may save our kids.

VALUES

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Strongly Agree

Correct. I'm okay with gay unions, but don't call them "marriage". It's a deliberate affront to the devout, and among the Leftists, it's a deliberate way to enode America.

Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from abuse, including gender ideology, grooming, and bodily mutilation.

Strongly Agree

Gender ideology is another Leftist lure. In the name of acting "nice" they expect us to jettison all standards. They govern by feelings, not common sense. AND, they won't accept it for their own kids and grandkids. Nancy Pelosi wouldn't abide by HER granddaughter having her womb ripped apart, but in the name of her Leftist mantra, she'll let teachers and medical "professionals" influence other minors to do so.

Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.

Strongly Disagree

No. And those doing transitions to minors should be imprisoned.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

Having explored Mormonism, Buddhism, Catholicism, and Jehovah's Witnesses, I remain comfortable ENOUGH with the Judaism with which I was raised. I struggle with whether Torah is true, but I'm okay with a possible fiction that has guided Jews for 3000 years, and that has brought betterment to everywhere it has been embraced. For now, i am a Deist -- I believe God created this wondrous earth, but am not sure how much God now controls or wants to control us. Darwinism is a falsity. Any 5th grader can point out that if Darwin's evolution theory were correct we'd have a continuum of animal life, not species that have stayed distinct for eons. Darwin can't explain the very unselfish emotions like love & reminiscence. Or why fruit is tasty.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

Duh.

The Electoral College should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

50 state elections is wise. And electors SHOULD have discretion, and not face a state penalty if voting renegade, as six electors did in 2016.

EQUALITY

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

To some degree, state and federal policies are racist AGAINST white and Asian Americans. Affirmative action hirings, minority business privileges, university, admissions, and university scholarships attest to this. I believe INDIVIDUALS who've suffered depredations by government should get an "equalizing lift", but that individualism transcends race. Leftist leaders propel CRT because they like divisiveness. We were CLOSE to being over our bad racial past, the last 15 years have swung back.

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

Correct. Letting men into competitions cordoned off for females is as ludicrous as letting 20 year-olds compete in "Under 10" contests. Every administrator who supports this policy should be fired. Most know how idiotic this policy is, but are afraid to speak out. Our kids shouldn't be led by quislings.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.

Strongly Disagree

If anthropomorphic climate change is true, why do scientist have to fake data to "prove" it? Remember, one strong volcanic eruption alters our atmosphere more than 5 years' worth of man-made pollution. Remember too, that Leftists latch onto the well-meaning environmentalists. We all want a healthy, green planet. Leftists thus USE our nice sentiments to take over business, transportation, farms, and waste disposal. If they really cared for the environment, they'd promote nuclear power.

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

Nuclear. Least expensive too, if we get rid of the inefficacious regulations and consultants and "studies" needed to build and maintain power plants.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Choose not to answer

I am a "small l" libertarian, Constitutionalist, Jeffersonian. In essence a traditional AMERICAN. American values of tolerance, individualism, free-markets, and merit have uplifted the world. Political heroes since Jefferson: Frederick Douglass, MLK, Barry Goldwater, and Ron Paul.

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

Government's primary mission if to keep consenting people safe. All other missions should come by compact and that compact deserves to be edited/renewed/abandoned every 10 years. The best form of local government is, in theory, a for-profit corporation. The best form of national government is one following the U.S. Constitution, which is a MINIMALIST document.

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

no

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

no

JUDICIAL PHILOSOPHY

The Supreme Court should be reformed to include more seats.

Disagree

This is a "Strongly Disagree" if the expansion is to get better political outcomes. I can see an expansion if the Court were to take on more cases. This court should grant Cert 90% of the time, not 6%. Long opinions are not necessary; rulings are.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.

Strongly Disagree

Community programs have largely kept people in poverty. 60 years singe LBJ's great society, and the people who have escaped urban poverty have largely done so by getting AWAY from programs that serve to entrap them. Meanwhile, police are both the main function of local government. The best return on taxpayer money is reduced crime. Thus, police, courts, and prisons should be well funded.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

Few. If you reasonably fear government tyranny, you should be able to own and operate shoulder-fired missiles and anti-tank weapons. The best protector against thugs with knives, ropes, or large fists is a well-trained person with a gun. And the gun-wielder is the best DETERRER of crime in the first place.
