RIGHT TO LIFE
Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
Under most circumstances, elective abortions should not be allowed past the point of fetal viability. Moreover, resources should be allocated to provide women, at any stage of their pregnancy, with alternatives to abortion. That said, I strongly support access to quality reproductive healthcare for all--including state funding for infertility treatments. I believe that more support (and attention) needs to be given to those couples who actually want to have kids--but struggle to do so.
Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.
Disagree
Essential safety standards have nothing to do with in-person consultations with a doctor--they have to do with proper testing and clinical trials--and proper and truthful education of the public by non-biased parties. Also, in my view, any data that the state might collect about outcomes is not worth violating people's dignity and civil rights--not to mention their right to medical privacy. I strongly oppose treating anyone as involuntary test subjects or as pawns in political games.
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Neutral
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Neutral
ECONOMY
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Agree
What is your position on the minimum wage?
As a local small business owner, I believe that minimum wages should not be so high that small businesses can't hire needed employees. Yet, minimum wages should not be so low that people can't afford to buy goods and services from small businesses.
Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Under what circumstances can government close churches?
Government can and does close churches. The real question is when should they close churches. Personally, I'd say unless a church is obviously infringing on other people's liberty or presenting a clear and present danger to the public welfare--government has no right to shut churches down.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Neutral
Individuals are not created by the state and should have the liberty to follow their own conscience. Businesses are creations of the state. Therefore, the state has every right to dictate what businesses must do--so long as its dictates are fair, reasonable, and equally applied. That said, I also believe that legislators need to be sensitive to the needs of the religious community as much as any other--which includes making reasonable accommodations for businesses with religious/moral values.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

NATIONAL SECURITY
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Agree
I agree. However, in a world where it becomes cheaper and easier for any group of any size to be a threat to the U.S and its interests. -- I think we need to pay as much attention to these emergent threats as we do to the Chinese Communist Party.
Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?
Because of its location, Israel has been important to the global balance of power for thousands of years. To maintain the balance of power in the region and to protect our national interests, America needs to maintain a healthy relationship with Israel. However, part of a healthy relationship with Israel means insisting that Israel treat its Palestinian population with dignity, equality, and respect--if for no other reason than ensuring that Palestinian problems don't become problems for America

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
