QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Agree
Abortion is a medical procedure that should be covered under a medical insurance plan or as an emergency in a hospital. To distinguish that an abortion procedure is covered under an abortion provider such as Planned Parenthood for free while a heart attack or other similar emergency is billed to an individual directly illustrates a discrimination of services rendered.
Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.
Agree
Any drug rendered should be vetted through safety protocols. A proper metric of this procedure is consumption of cocaine without testing it for fentanyl first.
Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
1) In all cases of rape, 2) where the mother will bear irreparable harm not typical of a pregnancy, and 3) where the child has been medically determined to be stillborn.
Does the federal government have a role to play in limiting abortion, and if so what federal steps and/or federal legislation would you support?
The federal judicial branch has opined that it has no role to play in allowing or limiting abortion, leaving the decision to the States. Although, this decision comes with horrific consequences, many of which have made national news, it must drive citizens and voting residents to take to the polls to support candidates who will pledge to enact common sense legislation. Many have allowed for full access to abortion in any case and many have directed for abortion in all cases other than where the pregnancy has come to term. This argument may better be settled by a scientific majority of when a fetus is deemed to engage in independent motion and "life". Many religious and scientific texts point to "Life" as that being upon first breath of birth. I do not have enough scientific data to take a more sure stance on the matter.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

NATIONAL SECURITY
With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

ECONOMY
What actions would you take that would allow Americans to retain more of their income and wealth?
Historically, the United States has taxed the wealthy (individuals with multi $100 million assets [adjustable for inflation]) at a much higher percentage than the working class so that more Americans can retain their income and wealth.
Student loan forgiveness unfairly shifts the financial burden to those not responsible for student debt.
Disagree
There can be no doubt that this statement is true. However, I propose that employers should bear some of this weight as they have imposed the education burden against the public while attaining the benefits of a more educated workforce. Historically, employers hire HS grads and pay their tuition to gain those benefits. The economic burden has shifted to the individual.
Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?
Yes
Climate Crisis gets little attention as people only concern themselves against economic welfare that is being dictated by the wealthy elite whom seem to care less about tackling the climate crisis.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
