RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

When the health and or life of the mother is threatened. Rape is another circumstance in which I believe in the right to choose. I am not in favor of people using abortion as a form of birth control; however, like forced vaccination, abortion should be thought of in much the same view. People should have the right to choose what happens with their bodies. I don't agree with full term abortion.

Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.

Neutral

Abortion is a very personal topic for most people. Any substance introduced into the human body should be fully studied before offering to a patient.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Neutral

Appropriate audits should be conducted on any entity that is receiving any federal or state funding.

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Neutral

This is a slippery slope to go down. I understand that there are circumstances in which a patient should have the right to choose whether or not to endure continued suffering should that patient be in pain and with terminal illness. However, if this were ever to be enacted there would need to be strict guidelines to be sure patients were not being coerced into something that could turn into a mass genocide situation through medical establishment means.

ECONOMY

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Agree

What is your position on the minimum wage?

If minimum wage is going to be raised that raise should then be tied to inflation. Today this topic is discussed in the form of dollar amounts which are meaningless public appeasement without the consideration of inflationary economic pressures.

Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?

No

I believe environmental and social issues have become prized over policy issues when policy governance should always come first.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

I don't believe that the government should shut down churches for any reason. It should be at the discretion of the churches or businesses owners whether or not they want to shut down during any type of public emergency event.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

No business, person, or entity should be forced to provide certain services if it goes against that person, business, or entity's own system of beliefs. One could argue that segregation would come back into play; however, I personally don't believe that the country is as racist as it has been in its past history. My thoughts are that mainstream information sources enjoy the continuation of the fanning of flames that don't need to be stoked. It's counter-productive in my opninon.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

I really don't think the government should necessarily fund health care. People also should not be forced to carry health insurance. It is a personal choice to take on the risk of not having it. The people should be accountable to themselves and their own choices in life rather than the government act like an over-bearing parent. This is a huge problem in society today. What happens if the government poorly manages its spending and can't sustain its promises?

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

I don't believe in forced vaccinations. Especially for young children. If the education institution is private then a private school can choose how to conduct its business; however, public schools shouldn't force vaccinations. Especially not MRNA.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Agree

I believe in today's world nationalism often takes a back seat to threats like corporate or cultural espionage. It seems in today's society people align themselves with companies and the private agendas of these companies.

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

I believe both the Israeli and United States Federal government agendas are not necessarily currently aligned with the average everyday people in these two countries. There are larger lesser-known corporate structures at play within this question. Most of the general public are unaware of what is really going on in the background.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

The immigration question goes beyond helping refugees at this juncture. Our own Federal Government is allowing the States it is sworn to protect to be overrun with illegal immigration. This is not a sustainable policy by any means. It is both a state and national security problem.

EDUCATION

The state should fund education by allowing dollars to follow the child through programs which protect parents' freedom to choose their child's school – public, private, or homeschool.

Neutral

This thinking is another form of socialism. It is true. In a society like the United States, our individual circumstances we are born into are often not fair. A poor citizen wants people to pay to raise them up. A wealthy citizen wants to keep their taxes low. It is all a matter of where a person sits on the social strata. Is it fair to over tax someone just because they worked hard to get to another strata? Handouts do not create wealth. Strong communities create those opportunities.

VALUES

Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from abuse, including gender ideology, grooming, and bodily mutilation.

Agree

Children are always the future of any society. When we allow those children to become abused then we are wrecking our future.

Parents should have the right to make decisions for their minor children.

Agree

Parents should have the right to refuse their minor children sex changes yes. Minors are not yet at the emotional capacity to make such a life changing decision without parental consent. I would hope for that child's sake the parents understand the consequences of allowing it before they are fully developed individuals.

Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.

Strongly Disagree

No. This shouldn't even be a question. It goes too far and its a form of overspending in goverment.

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Neutral

Freedom of religion is sacred no matter what religion you are as long as your religion does not openly harm or intentionally curtail others.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I grew up in the Presbyterian Church. I have studied metaphysical topics, and looked at other religions as well. My personal core values are strongly rooted in the values of the Presbyterian Church.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

Photo ID should be a requirement for all voting. Otherwise you are opening the nation up to irreversible globalist policies and a loss of its true cultural identity. We have already lost most of our civic identity due to voter apathy in recent years, and the intentional erasure of civic study and local history in our schools.

States should join the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact which makes the Electoral College irrelevant.

Strongly Disagree

I was miseducated about the electoral college when I was in high school. It wasn't until I witnessed the events of the 2000 national presidential election that I realized its true importance. If popular vote decides an election then only the largest states with the largest populations and largest cities would decide policy for the entire nation. This was not what the founders intended and for good reason. Just look no further than the politics of today to see it.

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

No. I don't believe racism is the most threatening issue. I believe illegal immigration is much more of a domestic and national security threat. It doesn't matter what race you are in this country. If you were born here you share many of the same core values as any other American born citizen. Life experiences may be different yes, but not the core of what we all believe in America.

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

CRT is an open attempt within our own educational institutions to divide Americans from each other. It's ridiculous. It's just as bad as the media continuing to intentional stoke flames upon the mass citizenry.

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

Biological males should be participating in sports with other biological males. Biological females should be participating in sports with other biological females. That is science you can trust.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? (Select all that apply) A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost. C) Stricter environmental laws undermine U.S. energy independence and deter development of reliable electricity sources. D) Climate change is real and requires urgent policy action.

I would say A; however, this question doesn't leave room for proper study. Blanket statements don't always produce the best policy results.

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

I would have to say nuclear power. Although, with anything, study and research will uncover the best result.

ABOUT YOU

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

No

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

No

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

It depends on what level of government. Federal should be responsible for trade agreements with other nations and national security issues for the nation. State government should be the buffer to protect the local communities from an overreaching Federal government which is a big part of what is happening right now. Local government is where social issues should be addressed. Success and productivity should be produced from the bottom up and not expected from the top-down corporate model.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Lean Conservative

I have been a Democrat, then later became an independent-minded voter. Witnessing the system not working the way it was intended to soured me of either the Democrat or Republican party. There was a time in America when politics was more moderate. It would be something we should strive toward going back to. Times were better when we came together rather than stayed divided because in the end. We are all Americans. It's time to come together again.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.

Disagree

I think police departments have their place in our local communities. We can't treat our police like foreign enemies if we want them to protect and respect us. They are human beings and have emotional thoughts, views, and opinions just like everyone else. People forget that.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

We shouldn't be restricting guns. We should be educating our youth on the proper use of a gun and how to respect the tool. Guns are the reason we haven't yet been overrun by foreign interests like they have in other western nations. If you've never watched Schindler's List or read a book about the events of the Holocaust in Nazi Europe then you really won't grasp why unrestricted gun rights are important for every American.

Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?

Yes

If a teacher feels comfortable and chooses to carry in the desire to protect students in the event of a split-second unexpected mass shooter incident, they should be allowed to carry with proper training on how to handle their weapon. I believe most teachers who would feel this way are already well-versed in gun use. If I were a parent having an armed trained teacher would make me feel more secure being that the response time for local authorities is typically around 9 minutes. A lot happens.
