OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.

Neutral

I support a woman's right to choose.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Disagree

I believe that there are those in society who benefit from government funding and should not be excluded from procedures just because they are impoverished.

ECONOMY

I support using taxpayer funds to lobby the state legislature and/or U.S. Congress.

Agree

I don't believe that underfunded candidates should be excluded from the electoral process, some government funding may be necessary

It is the responsibility of city government to provide subsidized housing at taxpayer expense.

Agree

In some cases, government assistance may be necessary.

Property taxes should be abolished.

Disagree

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Government should not discriminate against individuals, organizations, or business owners who affirm marriage as between one man and one woman.

Strongly Disagree

Government has no business outlining who should and should not be married. Government agencies should do everything possible to be sure all citizens rights are upheld.

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Neutral

Religious liberty can be over or under defined. Everyone's religious rights should be protected, not just a slim majority.

IMMIGRATION

City officials should have the right to proclaim their city a sanctuary city for illegal aliens.

Neutral

City officials should have any legal rights to manage their cities a forwarded them by their state law.

VALUES

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I believe in Jesus Christ, and I don't believe any man has the right to judge another man's rights or beliefs, Jesus wouldn't judge persons so harshly.

Children have the right to be protected from sexually explicit materials in publicly funded libraries, including school libraries.

Agree

The problem is "sexually explicit" is too loosely defined. I generally favor people's right to read. Put the books in a certain section. If a person doesn't want their children to read the books, they shouldn't be checking them out.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Agree

All filings by candidates for municipal office, including ballot application and campaign finance reports, should be available for public online access on the city website within 24 hours of filing deadline.

Agree

Ballot measures which include bond issues should fully disclose both the potential tax rate increase and actual monetary increase for the average single family residence.

Neutral

EQUALITY

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Neutral

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) instruction should be required for all city employees.

Strongly Agree

Only a racist would disagree with this.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Taxpayers should subsidize green initiatives such as electric vehicle charging stations.

Agree

This is a great benefit to the environment.

ABOUT YOU

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.
