QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Agree

No. I do not believe elective abortions should be funded with taxpayer dollars. I recognize that women facing an unplanned or difficult pregnancy may be in painful and complicated circumstances, and I believe they deserve compassion, support, and access to resources. At the same time, taxpayers should not be required to financially support a procedure that many sincerely believe is morally wrong.

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

I believe abortion should only be allowed in limited circumstances: when the life or serious health of the mother is at risk, in cases of rape, or when the pregnancy involves a stillborn fetus.

Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.

Agree

I believe human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death. At the same time, our laws should be grounded in compassion and recognize heartbreaking circumstances involving the serious health of the mother, rape, or a stillborn pregnancy.

The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.

Agree

Yes. I believe human embryos created through artificial reproductive methods deserve respect and legal protection from purposeful destruction. At the same time, laws in this area should be thoughtful and compassionate toward families facing infertility and difficult medical decisions.

The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.

Agree

I oppose the use of abortion-inducing medication for elective abortions and believe laws regulating the distribution of these drugs should be enforced. My position is rooted in the belief that human life deserves protection from conception. At the same time, women facing serious medical complications should receive appropriate, compassionate medical care, including treatment necessary to protect the life or serious health of the mother.

ECONOMY

What is your position on the minimum wage?

I support a responsible increase in the minimum wage that helps working families while protecting small businesses and jobs. Any increase should consider regional costs of living and give employers time to adjust.

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Agree

Yes. I believe free enterprise and private property rights are essential to a strong economy. They encourage investment, innovation, job creation, and personal responsibility while giving individuals the freedom to build and protect what they have earned.

List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.

My priorities are to audit state agencies regularly, eliminate duplicate programs and unnecessary contracts, increase transparency in government spending, hold agencies accountable for failed or over-budget projects, and modernize outdated systems to reduce paperwork, fraud, and administrative costs.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

To me, separation of church and state means government should not establish or favor a religion, while individuals remain free to practice their faith and allow their values to guide their lives. Religious freedom and freedom from government-imposed religion must both be protected.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Disagree

No. I believe individuals and businesses should have reasonable protections for sincerely held moral and religious beliefs, while also respecting laws that protect people from unlawful discrimination. The goal should be to protect both religious liberty and equal treatment under the law.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

B) Government-supported healthcare coverage should be available to people who need or want it, while preserving private healthcare options. I support expanding access and affordability without eliminating personal choice or private insurance.

The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.

Disagree

No. I do not support a government database that tracks individuals based on their medical conditions simply to measure economic burden. Health information is deeply private and should be protected. Government can study healthcare costs using anonymous data without creating unnecessary risks to personal privacy.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Agree

Yes. I believe the Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cybersecurity, intellectual property, and economic threats to the United States. We should protect American infrastructure, technology, businesses, and national security while maintaining strong alliances and fair trade.

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

Yes. Israel is an important U.S. strategic and security partner. I support Israel’s right to exist and defend itself from terrorism, while also supporting diplomacy, protection of innocent civilians, humanitarian assistance, and a lasting peace that respects the security and dignity of both Israelis and Palestinians.

IMMIGRATION

I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.

Neutral

I support local policies that allow undocumented residents to report crimes, seek emergency services, and cooperate with law enforcement without fear. At the same time, cities should follow federal and state law and maintain policies that protect public safety and due process.

EDUCATION

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Agree

Yes. I support returning more education authority to states, local communities, parents, and school districts. Decisions about curriculum, standards, and how schools operate should be made closer to the families they affect, while still protecting students’ civil rights and access to educational opportunities.

Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.

Agree

Yes. I believe foreign governments should be prohibited from directly funding American schools and universities in ways that could influence curriculum, research, or public policy. American education should remain transparent, independent, and accountable to students, families, and the public.

VALUES

Government should recognize and support the fundamental right and essential duty of parents to direct their child's health and educational well-being.

Agree

Yes. I believe parents have a fundamental responsibility and right to guide their child’s education, healthcare, and overall well-being. Government should respect that role while ensuring children are protected from abuse, neglect, and serious harm.

Attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex constitute child abuse.

Agree

Yes. I believe physically or socially transitioning a minor to the opposite sex constitutes child abuse and should not be permitted. Children should be protected from irreversible medical interventions and from adults encouraging identity changes they are not mature enough to fully understand. The law should prioritize a child’s long-term physical and emotional well-being.

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Agree

Yes. I believe marriage is a sacred, God-ordained union between one man and one woman. I believe government should respect and protect that traditional definition of marriage while also treating every person with dignity and respect under the law.

I support the expansion of gambling in my state.

Disagree

No. I do not support expanding gambling in Texas. I believe the potential social costs, including addiction, financial hardship, and harm to families, outweigh the promised economic benefits.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

My faith in God is the foundation of my values. I believe in prayer, personal responsibility, compassion, integrity, service to others, and treating every person with dignity. My faith guides me to stand for what is right, help those in need, protect families, and lead with humility, courage, and accountability.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Disagree

People should present there photo identification when voting

EQUALITY

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Neutral

I believe Black Americans, Hispanics, all minorities, women, and other historically disadvantaged groups have faced real discrimination in business, lending, contracting, education, and economic opportunity. I support addressing proven discrimination by enforcing civil rights laws, expanding fair access to capital and contracts, and removing barriers to opportunity. I do not believe every remedy should be based solely on race.

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Agree

Yes. I believe women’s sports and intimate spaces should be reserved for biological females. That includes bathrooms, locker rooms, shelters, prisons, and similar settings where privacy, safety, and fairness are significant concerns. Policies should protect the dignity and safety of everyone while preserving sex-based protections for women and girls.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.

Agree

Yes. I believe human activity contributes to climate change and that it poses real risks to our water, agriculture, infrastructure, and communities. We should take responsible action that reduces pollution, strengthens energy reliability, protects natural resources, and supports innovation without placing unnecessary burdens on working families or small businesses.

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

I support a diverse energy mix, with natural gas and nuclear providing dependable power and wind and solar adding capacity where practical. Texas must prioritize grid reliability, affordability, and enough dispatchable power to meet growing demand.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

I believe we need to get back into making the right decisions for the people and our future generations.

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

no

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

No, I have never been convicted of a felony.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

What should be the goal of the criminal justice system?

The criminal justice system needs a complete overhaul. We must protect the public, support victims, hold offenders accountable, eliminate unequal treatment, improve rehabilitation, address wrongful convictions, and create real pathways for people who have served their time to successfully return to society.

Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.

Agree

Yes. Government has a clear responsibility to protect children from online sexual exploitation. I support strong enforcement against predators, trafficking, grooming, and the distribution of child sexual abuse material, while also requiring technology companies to take meaningful steps to protect minors online.

Sharia law should not be accepted or incorporated in any form within the legal framework of the United States.

Agree

Yes. The U.S. Constitution and American law must remain the supreme legal authority. No religious legal code, including Sharia law, should replace or override federal, state, or local law. At the same time, every person should remain free to practice their faith within the protections of the Constitution.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

I support the constitutional right of law-abiding citizens to own firearms, but with responsible safeguards. I support background checks, firearm safety training, and reasonable licensing requirements to ensure gun owners understand safe handling and storage. We should also keep firearms out of the hands of violent offenders and people legally determined to be dangerous. Increase the age to purchase guns,
