VALUES
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a practicing Christian. I believe that Jesus died for my sins and rose again 3 days later. I believe the bible to be Gods holy word and my thoughts, belief and actions center around those beliefs. I do not think myself to be any better or worse than anyone else but try to live my life as an example to others and strive to live a Christian lifestyle. I think of myself as a conservation in my beliefs.
Who is responsible for teaching sexual education to children, and what is the appropriate age when it should be taught?
I believe the parents should teach sex ed or give their permission for who or when it is taught. I don't really know an appropriate age, but thinking about 7th grade at the earliest.
If you support the teaching of Sex Ed, please answer the following question: Sexual education should include these topics (list all that apply and add your own, if needed) -- abortion methods and side effects; abstinence; consent; contraceptive methods; human anatomy/the reproductive system; physical and emotional health outcomes; sex acts and pleasures of sex; sexual orientation and gender identity; stages of pregnancy and fetal development
The only one that I would want my own children to be taught would probably be abstinence, human anatomy/the reproductive system, physical and emotional health outcomes, stages of pregnancy and fetal development-----teaching sex ed is a hard call
