QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.
Strongly Agree
I have been very active in pro-life issues in Arizona for over 20 years. I recently spent 6 months leading a group of people pushing back on the awful Arizona Abortion Access Act which, if passed by the voters, would enshrine abortion through all 9 months into our state constitution.
What role should the school serve in helping a student with an unwanted or crisis pregnancy?
First, the schools should notify the parents or guardians and report to them. Allow the parents to have full authority over the decision regarding the pregnancy and offer assistance in the way of accommodations and local resources if the parent requests. Parents have complete authority for the child and the school should never try to usurp that authority.
ECONOMY
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
What is your position on government funding of public education from Pre-K through college?
I am concerned about the expansion of government funded schools beyond K-12. Parents are the primary caregivers of their children. This is especially important in the first 4 to 5 years of a child's life. It is this time that parents instill their family values to the child. The more influence the government has in the development of members of our society, the worse it gets.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Teachers should be required to instruct students on mandated curriculum even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
EDUCATION
Abortion and gender-affirming providers, including Planned Parenthood, should be a resource for instruction or services in the school.
Strongly Disagree
Schools should not be complicit in such things and those that are have strayed far outside the lanes of the mission of public education. These types of social engineering actions seem to have the expressed purpose of destroying the traditional intact nuclear family, which I consider the fundamental building block of a good, just and moral society.
Consistent discipline creates a safe and orderly environment, which is essential for student learning.
Strongly Agree
Do you believe print and digital material available or presented to students should be easily accessible for public review, including those without children enrolled in school?
Yes
Educators should give students a thorough education in America's founding documents and cultivate American patriotism.
Strongly Agree
I support Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI).
Strongly Disagree
I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.
Strongly Agree
I have advocated for this over the past 3 years. I see little chance of that happening. However, I do think the individual school districts should strive to eliminate, to the greater extent possible, the dependence on federal money. This would have the same effect of eliminating the US DOE by not allowing the strings attached to the money infiltrate the district.
Please list in order the following priorities in relation to the role of a K-12 public school (omitting any that do not apply): American History, Art & Music, Civics, Critical Race Theory, Foreign Language, Gender Identity, Information Technology, Language Arts, Mathematics, Personal Finances, Physical Fitness, Political Activism, Science, Sexuality, Social Emotional Learning, Vocational Learning
Language Arts Mathematics Science Civics American History Personal Finances Vocational Learning Physical Fitness Information Technology Art & Music Foreign Language
The state should fund education by allowing dollars to follow the child instead of the bureaucracy, through a program which allows parents the freedom to choose their child's school – public, private, or homeschool.
Strongly Agree
I fully support Arizona's Empowerment Scholarship Accounts, where the money follows the child.
Which should students have: equity of outcomes or equality of opportunities?
Equality of opportunities
Which type of written parental consent should be obtained before students are taught courses such as Comprehensive Sex Education (CSE)? (A) Opt-In. (B) Opt-Out. (C) None.
(A) Opt-In
VALUES
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a Catholic convert, having entered the church over 30 years ago. I am and have been very active in numerous Ministeries and participate in several weekly Catholic fraternities. I believe "Iron sharpens iron". There has been a concerted effort in our nation to normalize effeminate men and destroy the proper order of the family as given to us by God. I am fighting hard against that effort. I am a volunteer at a Catholic crisis pregnancy center, working in their Men's Program. I meet with young men, who's wives/girlfriends are receiving services from the center, to give them instructions on how to be better men, husbands and fathers. I begin each day in prayer, I end each day in prayer.
Who is responsible for teaching sexual education to children, and what is the appropriate age when it should be taught?
Exposing children to sexual topics should only be done by the child's parents. It should start as early as 7 or 8 years old with very basic differences between boys and girls. As children mature, they should be introduced to more complex topics regarding sex.
If you support the teaching of Sex Ed, please answer the following question: Sexual education should include these topics (list all that apply and add your own, if needed) -- abortion methods and side effects; abstinence; consent; contraceptive methods; human anatomy/the reproductive system; physical and emotional health outcomes; sex acts and pleasures of sex; sexual orientation and gender identity; stages of pregnancy and fetal development
Sex Ed should include topics on abstinence, human anatomy/the reproductive system; stages of pregnancy and fetal development.
Children have a right to reach maturity without chemical or surgical castration, which would damage their healthy bodies through surgeries and may cause a life-long dependence on cross-sex hormones.
Strongly Agree
Children have the right to be protected from sexual grooming (including drag shows and explicit materials) in schools and libraries.
Strongly Agree
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman essential to the formation and sustaining of a civil and prosperous society.
Strongly Agree
Parents have the fundamental right to raise their child in accordance with their beliefs and values, including the right to make decisions about the child's education and healthcare.
Strongly Agree
Arizona has a Parental Bill of Rights that mirrors this, however schools seem to have a hard time adhering to it.
Parents should have full and timely access to any and all records, including school and medical records, associated with their minor children.
Strongly Agree
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
EQUALITY
Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.
Strongly Agree

OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES
In the event of a pandemic, school districts can mandate whatever health precautions they deem necessary (including masks and vaccines) to protect students and staff.
Strongly Disagree
