QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.
Strongly Agree
I also believe in strong support for the mothers who face unplanned and unwanted pregnancies- emotionally, financially, and spiritually.
What role should the school serve in helping a student with an unwanted or crisis pregnancy?
I don’t believe there is it an appropriate role for the school. These are personal decisions that a student must make with their families and support system. There are some schools that are providing childcare onsite for our students who have young children, and I think that is amazing if we can partner with other organizations for resources and funding.
ECONOMY
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
What is your position on government funding of public education from Pre-K through college?
It is the state’s responsibility to provide funding for the education of students from kindergarten through 12th grade. I don’t believe there should be public funding beyond high school graduation. I also believe the funding should follow the student.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Teachers should be required to instruct students on mandated curriculum even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
I don’t believe the curriculum should be teaching opinions or ideologies. If a teacher is facing a situation where the curriculum requires such teaching, there needs to be an appeals process to the county, and possibly the state, to review the curriculum. In Jacksonville, with only 29% of our students on level in reading, I think we need to be focused on academics.
EDUCATION
Abortion and gender-affirming providers, including Planned Parenthood, should be a resource for instruction or services in the school.
Strongly Disagree
Organizations like Planned Parenthood and Jasmin have overstepped appropriate boundaries with children. Gender ideology, sexual orientation, and abortion are all things that should be left to the parents and trusted religious/moral leaders. Constitutionally, parents have the right to direct the moral upbringing of their children.
Consistent discipline creates a safe and orderly environment, which is essential for student learning.
Strongly Agree
A refusal to hold our students accountable and be consistent with discipline across the board has caused major disruptions to the learning environment. Students and teachers feel unsafe. We must add teeth to our code of conduct to protect our teachers, our students, and the learning environment so that everyone can focus on learning. Do you believe print, conditional material available?
Do you believe print and digital material available or presented to students should be easily accessible for public review, including those without children enrolled in school?
Yes
Absolutely! Everyone is a stakeholder in public education. Parents must have access so that they know what their children are being exposed to. Our community members are paying taxes and have every right to review materials used in schools.
Educators should give students a thorough education in America's founding documents and cultivate American patriotism.
Strongly Agree
Students absolutely must understand their rights as citizens and know how to participate in a representative democracy.
I support Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI).
Strongly Disagree
Believe in equal opportunity. I do not believe that equity of outcome is the same thing. I love, authentic diversity, but policy enforced diversity is discrimination.
I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.
Strongly Agree
I strongly believe in local government, and the state has ultimate responsibility and authority for educating students within the state.
Please list in order the following priorities in relation to the role of a K-12 public school (omitting any that do not apply): American History, Art & Music, Civics, Critical Race Theory, Foreign Language, Gender Identity, Information Technology, Language Arts, Mathematics, Personal Finances, Physical Fitness, Political Activism, Science, Sexuality, Social Emotional Learning, Vocational Learning
1. Language Arts, because if you can read, you can learn anything, and if you can write, you can fight for what you believe in. 2. Mathematics – in addition to fundamentals and foundational learning, problem-solving and strategic thinking are logical-mathematical skills. 3. Civics & American History 4- Science 5- Personal Finance 6- Arts & Music 7- Health/Physical Education 8- Vocational Programs 9- Information Technology
The state should fund education by allowing dollars to follow the child instead of the bureaucracy, through a program which allows parents the freedom to choose their child's school – public, private, or homeschool.
Strongly Agree
Which should students have: equity of outcomes or equality of opportunities?
Equality of opportunities.
Which type of written parental consent should be obtained before students are taught courses such as Comprehensive Sex Education (CSE)? (A) Opt-In. (B) Opt-Out. (C) None.
A- Opt-In
VALUES
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a Christian constitutional conservative. I arrive to biblical values.
Who is responsible for teaching sexual education to children, and what is the appropriate age when it should be taught?
Parents, as they are fit.
If you support the teaching of Sex Ed, please answer the following question: Sexual education should include these topics (list all that apply and add your own, if needed) -- abortion methods and side effects; abstinence; consent; contraceptive methods; human anatomy/the reproductive system; physical and emotional health outcomes; sex acts and pleasures of sex; sexual orientation and gender identity; stages of pregnancy and fetal development
human anatomy/the reproductive system; physical and emotional health outcomes; consent; the benefits of abstinence; the physical and emotional consequences and side effects of abortion; stages of pregnancy and fetal development
Children have a right to reach maturity without chemical or surgical castration, which would damage their healthy bodies through surgeries and may cause a life-long dependence on cross-sex hormones.
Strongly Agree
It is inane to allow children to make decisions that will have permanent affects on their ability to lead healthy lives and affect their ability to find fulfillment in marriage and children before their brains are fully developed. There’s a reason for a legal voting, smoking, and drinking age.
Children have the right to be protected from sexual grooming (including drag shows and explicit materials) in schools and libraries.
Strongly Agree
Schools should be safe spaces for our children. There shouldn’t be any fear of them being exposed to things they are too young to see, hear, learn, and process.
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman essential to the formation and sustaining of a civil and prosperous society.
Strongly Agree
I don’t deny anyone their free will to choose who they will live with and sleep with. God created marriage, and only He can define it. I support the right to an alternative lifestyle, living together in a civil union or a partnership, but I don’t condone ideologies foisted upon our children in schools. As Christians, I believe we need to be loving toward all people, and allow Holy Spirit to move in their lives, and bring conviction just as he does for all of us since not one of us is perfect.
Parents have the fundamental right to raise their child in accordance with their beliefs and values, including the right to make decisions about the child's education and healthcare.
Strongly Agree
Parents should have full and timely access to any and all records, including school and medical records, associated with their minor children.
Strongly Agree
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
EQUALITY
Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.
Strongly Agree

2ND AMENDMENT
Faculty who are licensed to carry and have had ongoing training should be allowed to carry guns at school in order to respond to an active shooter situation.
Strongly Agree
OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES
In the event of a pandemic, school districts can mandate whatever health precautions they deem necessary (including masks and vaccines) to protect students and staff.
