RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

The people in Florida will decide on a proposed constitutional amendment related to abortion rights on Election Day 2024. The proposed amendment, titled the "Right to Reproductive Freedom with Exceptions," seeks to enshrine a right to abortion in the state constitution. This initiative follows the state's recent moves to limit abortion access. The People Will Choose! It is now a state issue and the people to make the choice come November.

Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.

Agree

This position emphasizes the importance of safeguarding minors and holding medical procedures to high standards of safety. It highlights the role of parental involvement in critical healthcare decisions.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

Public funds are used to support the most vulnerable members of society. Public resources should go toward initiatives that promote family well-being, creating opportunities for parents and children to thrive. Taxpayer money should be directed towards programs that help families raise their children, offering financial, medical, and educational support to strengthen family units and create better opportunities for children.

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

I support the right to life.

ECONOMY

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

I believe in the principles of free enterprise and the right to private property. A strong economy is built on individual innovation and ownership, where businesses can thrive without unnecessary government interference. Protecting property rights is essential to ensuring personal freedom and economic growth, allowing individuals to prosper through their own efforts and investments.

What is your position on the minimum wage?

Markets allowed to operate freely, as basic economics show, they naturally organize, balance, and regulate themselves through supply and demand the market can allocate resources efficiently, promote competition and drive innovation if left alone.

Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?

No

No public money should be regulated. Public money should be managed based on financial performance and accountability, not subjective criteria that may not align with taxpayers' best interests.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

No government should close down churches or places of worship, as they are fundamental to religious freedom, which is protected by the Constitution. The right to gather for worship is a cornerstone of personal and community life. While public health or safety concerns may arise, governments should find ways to protect people without infringing on this essential liberty.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

requiring businesses to act against their religious or moral beliefs infringes on their freedom of religion, which is a protected right by the constitution.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

Medicaid and Medicare are vital for protecting vulnerable populations and should remain intact. It’s crucial that no one with health care needs is turned away due to not having insurance coverage, ensuring healthcare access to care. Today most companies offer private insurance to full-time & part-time workers. To enhance private healthcare access and lower costs, we should encourage private insurance, as competition can drive down prices and improve quality.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

The Constitution supports the right to make informed decisions about one’s own body, and this principle should be upheld even in the context of public health measures.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Agree

China poses a threat to the U.S. by stealing intellectual property, including technology, trade secrets, and proprietary data. This theft undermines American businesses, leads to economic losses, and threatens national security. Addressing this challenge requires enhanced cybersecurity, stricter enforcement of intellectual property rights, and stronger international cooperation to protect innovation and maintain a competitive edge.

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

Israel is a key ally of the U.S. in the Middle East, with strong political, military, and economic ties. The two nations collaborate on defense technology, intelligence sharing, and regional security, while also supporting each other in international forums. Despite regional tensions and controversies, their partnership is grounded in shared interests and mutual benefits, reflecting deep cooperation and alignment on many issues.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

The U.S. should enhance border security with a combination of physical barriers, such as a wall, and advanced technology. This includes deploying state-of-the-art surveillance systems, drones, and sensors to monitor and secure the border effectively. Strengthening border security can help address illegal immigration, drug trafficking, and other security concerns while ensuring a robust and modern approach to protecting national interests.

EDUCATION

The state should fund education by allowing dollars to follow the child through programs which protect parents' freedom to choose their child's school – public, private, or homeschool.

Strongly Agree

Yes, the state should fund education by allowing dollars to follow the child, supporting programs that protect parents' freedom to choose their child's school—whether public, private, or homeschool. This approach ensures that education funding is flexible and aligns with individual family needs, promoting diverse educational options and empowering parents to make the best choices for their children's education.

VALUES

Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from abuse, including gender ideology, grooming, and bodily mutilation.

Strongly Agree

Children with gender dysphoria deserve compassionate and appropriate care. It's essential to ensure they receive support that prioritizes their well-being and safety. This includes access to mental health services, supportive environments, and medical care when needed. Protecting children involves providing them with appropriate resources and guidance while safeguarding against any practices that could be harmful or exploitative.

Parents should have the right to make decisions for their minor children.

Strongly Agree

Parents have the right to decide for their children, offering love, care, and protection. Parents should have the right to protect their children from experimental surgeries or treatments that could cause irreversible harm. Decisions involving significant medical interventions, like those altering a child’s body or future, should be approached with caution and reserved for when the individual is mature enough to fully understand the consequences.

Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.

Strongly Disagree

Taxpayers should not fund gender transition surgeries, as they are considered elective or aesthetic procedures. Public funds should be prioritized for essential healthcare services that address critical health needs. Gender transition surgeries, often viewed as personal choices, should be funded privately rather than through taxpayer dollars, ensuring that public resources are used responsibly for the broader healthcare needs of the community.

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Agree

Marriage, according to traditional Christian beliefs, is viewed as a sacred union between a man and a woman, as defined by biblical teachings. This understanding of marriage reflects long-standing values and the importance of family within the faith. Many Christians hold to this definition as a way of honoring their religious traditions and maintaining the sanctity of marriage as part of their spiritual practice.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

As a Christian, I believe in one God, follow the teachings of Jesus Christ, and view the Bible as your guide for faith and life. Central to my beliefs is salvation through Christ’s death and resurrection. I value prayer, worship, and living a moral life based on biblical principles like love, compassion, and service. Fellowship with other believers strengthens your spiritual journey

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

Voter ID is crucial for ensuring election integrity by helping to prevent fraud and verify that each voter is eligible to cast a ballot. It provides a layer of security that can help maintain public confidence in the electoral process and ensure that votes are cast by legitimate citizens, registered voters.

States should join the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact which makes the Electoral College irrelevant.

Strongly Disagree

The Electoral College is important because it ensures that even the smallest states have a voice in presidential elections. By giving each state, a minimum number of electoral votes, it balances the influence of states with smaller populations, preventing larger states from solely determining the outcome. This system helps maintain a more equitable representation across the entire country.

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

No, racism is not a threat to domestic security. Americans are mostly good people. More effort should be focused on promoting unity. America is not a racist nation built on diversity, where people from all backgrounds seek the American dream. The country’s strength lies in its ability to bring together individuals from different walks of life, fostering opportunity and progress for all. By focusing on what unites us, we can continue to build a more inclusive and prosperous society.

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

I believe Critical Race Theory (CRT) is rooted in Marxist ideas and that the focus should be on promoting equality as outlined in the Constitution. The Constitution provides a foundation for equal rights, and efforts should be centered on ensuring fairness and equal opportunity for all, rather than dividing society by race or identity. By emphasizing the principles of equality embedded in the Constitution, we can work toward a more unified and just society.

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

Biological men should not participate in women's sports, women pageants, bathrooms, or private spaces to ensure fairness, safety, and privacy. In sports, the physical advantages of biological men can undermine fair competition for women. In spaces like bathrooms and locker rooms, maintaining gender-specific facilities is important for protecting privacy and ensuring the comfort and security of all individuals. We have to protect women.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? (Select all that apply) A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost. C) Stricter environmental laws undermine U.S. energy independence and deter development of reliable electricity sources. D) Climate change is real and requires urgent policy action.

C------Stricter environmental laws can undermine U.S. energy independence by limiting the development of domestic energy resources and deterring investment in reliable electricity sources. Overregulation can hinder innovation and the growth of energy industries, leading to higher costs, reduced efficiency, and reliance on foreign energy. A balanced approach is needed to protect the environment while ensuring energy security and economic growth.

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

Oil, gas, and nuclear energy are the most reliable sources that support U.S. energy independence, providing efficient power and stability while meeting energy demands and contributing to economic growth.

ABOUT YOU

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

NO

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

NO

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

The general purpose of government is to preserve individual freedom, protect property rights, and ensure national security. It should provide a framework for law and order, uphold constitutional principles, and create conditions for economic prosperity and personal responsibility. By limiting its role to essential functions, the government allows citizens to pursue their own goals and freedoms while maintaining a stable and secure society. Emphasis on minimal intervention w/ traditional values.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

I hold a conservative perspective, supporting limited government, individual freedom, and traditional values. I advocate for free-market principles with minimal regulation and emphasize the importance of traditional family structures. In foreign policy, I prioritize a strong national defense and strategic alliances. I also deeply value religious liberty and the protection of constitutional rights, focusing on preserving foundational principles and personal responsibility.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.

Strongly Disagree

I don't support redirecting funds from police or first responders. These services are essential for maintaining public safety and ensuring quick responses during emergencies. Proper funding is crucial to support their operations, training, and resources, as they play a vital role in protecting communities and maintaining law and order. Keeping Americans safe is crucial, and for that, we need strong support for our police forces.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

I support the Second Amendment with no restrictions on gun control. Parents should take responsibility for safely storing firearms away from children, ensuring their safety. Family training and education are key in helping children understand the potential dangers of guns. By teaching them responsible handling and respect for firearms, we can uphold the rights provided by the Second Amendment while promoting safety within the home.

Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?

Yes

Teachers should have the option to keep guns securely locked in their classrooms to protect students in the event of a school shooting. This would provide an additional layer of security, allowing trained educators to respond swiftly in an emergency situation, potentially saving lives while ensuring the safety of the children under their care.
