QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

The only circumstances that I believe should allow for an elective abortion is to save the life of the mother; however, it should be HER choice or a choice made with her husband/mate. I would give my life to save my child, she may feel that same way.

“Women’s Right to Know” informed consent materials must include information about Abortion Pill Reversal.

Strongly Agree

Women who regret taking the abortion pill soon after desire to reverse their life-altering choice. The Abortion Pill Reversal has saved thousands of lives, both physically for the baby, and emotionally for the mother. It is paramount that women be educated about this technology, particularly at a very vulnerable time for them.

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

ECONOMY

Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?

No

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

NONE. The freedom to worship is one of the foundational principles this country was founded upon and should be preserved at all costs.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

C. The least government interference with the health care system is best. The Obama Care Act has kept doctors from purchasing hospitals. EX: When Eau Claire area hospitals and clinics closed their doors, Oak Leaf could not purchase them because of Obama Care Act (Section3001(1a)(3). Why can attorneys & dentist own offices and doctors cannot?

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

NONE: The coined phrase, "My body, my choice" should apply to vaccinations. To me, this topic is about the freedom parents should have to make this choice for their children and themselves.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

Yes: Please refer to Genesis Chapter 12

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

Absolutely, the drugs and undocumented/unvetted people coming in this country needs to stop. I have nothing against coming to this country for a better way of life however it needs to be done legally and the cost not on the backs of taxpayers. We need to take care of our veterans first. (US citizens all need passports)

EDUCATION

The state should fund education by allowing dollars to follow the child through programs which protect parents' freedom to choose their child's school – public, private, or homeschool.

Strongly Agree

Absolutely, again freedom of choice.

VALUES

Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from abuse, including gender ideology, grooming, and bodily mutilation.

Strongly Agree

Parents have the right to make decisions for their minor children.

Strongly Agree

Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.

Strongly Disagree

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Strongly Agree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I believe in God & prayer. (I stand for the flag and kneel for the cross.) God, family and freedoms are very important to me, as is my rural style of life. Serving this country and my community gives me great pleasure. I believe in being respectful, truthful & honest and that we all need to give back to the community in which we live in order for it to prosper. We need to lead by example.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

States should join the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact which makes the Electoral College irrelevant.

Strongly Disagree

The electoral college ensures that smaller states and rural areas still have a voice when it comes to choosing a President. If the Electoral College became irrelevant, rural areas would be overshadowed and diminished in terms of representation.

EQUALITY

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

I think the government has highlighted racism to the point that it has divided the United States and turned neighbor against neighbor. Big government--and the damaging ideas they propagate--are the biggest threat to domestic security. We all bleed the same color. The more we value one another for this, the more domestic peace will exist.

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

The institutions in the United States exist to protect all who are "created equal".

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? (Select all that apply) A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost. C) Stricter environmental laws undermine U.S. energy independence and deter development of reliable electricity sources. D) Climate change is real and requires urgent policy action.

A:

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

Nuclear energy is the most reliable form of energy with the greatest output and smallest footprint.

ABOUT YOU

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

They should be a limited government that is "of the people" and "for the people", not a government that is of themselves and for themselves.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

No.

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

No.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Growing up on a family dairy farm and loving rural Wisconsin, I value the way of life reflected in the conservative values I've witnessed that allow communities to flourish. A range of experiences have proven this to be true. From my service in the armed forces, to my time as the local mayor, and even as an EMT and 4-H leader, I've seen first-hand how limited government and conservative values work together to create an environment where businesses and families thrive.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.

Strongly Disagree

As an EMT, I see firsthand how imperative it is to have officers on scene as they act as first responders, particularly in the way of ensuring that the scene is safe for us to come in. Many times they have already started life-saving measures. This is becoming more concerning with increased drug activity due to open border policies. This cannot be compromised. I Back the Blue by selling books by a local author at my business, I own and donating 100% of the profits to our local K-9 unit.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

Laws to restrict individuals with a criminal background or mental health disorders should be in place to protect public safety. Otherwise, I support the 2nd Amendment right to bear arms to its fullest extent.

Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?

Yes

With the proper completion of a Concealed Carry class, I see no reason teachers shouldn't be allowed to carry a gun at school for safety reasons.
