QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Disagree

I believe we must provide funding and support on both sides of this issue so the woman has options and does feel like she has only one choice. We must provide support and care for their choice.

Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.

Agree

I believe that all procedures or treatments need to be proven to be safe and provided under professional care.

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

I leave this decision to the individual and the healthcare professionals.

Does the federal government have a role to play in limiting abortion, and if so what federal steps and/or federal legislation would you support?

The only role the government needs to play in this is to put back into law the Roe v Wade. This would then put the decision in the hands of each individual woman, where it belongs.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

Exactly that! Their is no place for religious influence in our decision making process in the government. It also has no place in our school systems. We must get to educating our children on the subject they are to learn in school. The religious teachings should be decided by the parents and taught in the place of worship they believe in.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Disagree

NATIONAL SECURITY

With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.

B & C to me are intertwined.

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Agree

I believe we must always be aware of China as well as other Countries including Russia as a treat to our country.

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

I believe our relationship with many countries is important. I also believe if we are aiding a country with any support we should have a say in the way they handle the situation. If we don’t agree then the support needs to stop until their actions change.

What are the causes of decline in U.S. military recruitment and retention?

Again this is something I don’t have enough knowledge on to fairly and honestly answer. I will look into it.

HEALTHCARE

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

I believe this is nothing new and shouldn’t be a giant issue. The basic vaccinations we require for school shouldn’t be an issue for others to have as well.

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

A or B. I believe we should and could provide a quality healthcare for all citizens, but I’m not totally against allowing people to opt out and get their own self paid healthcare if they want.

ECONOMY

What actions would you take that would allow Americans to retain more of their income and wealth?

We must get our tax system corrected. Everyone must pay their fair share. Corporations and the wealthy need to carry their weight. I would also like to extend the child tax credit to help families that are needing the help the most.

Student loan forgiveness unfairly shifts the financial burden to those not responsible for student debt.

Disagree

I don’t believe this is the case that has to be. I believe we have many ways to address this program without it being on the backs of all American taxpayers.

Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?

Choose not to answer

I don’t know enough about this to weigh in. I will have to look into this.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Agree

But not with a wall. We must improve on our immigration system. We must provide our border guards with more people and funds to handle this. As well as more modern technology to cover more area. We need to have more judges and case workers to handle to Inflow. We need more to handle the background checks of the people coming across. We must get a quicker path to citizenship.

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

This country was formed from immigrants. We should not turn away people unless they are a treat to our nation or we just can’t handle the population. But it needs to be brine legally.

EDUCATION

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

Strongly Disagree

I don’t support our tax dollars going to any system but our public schools. The others have funding and ways to provide for themselves. If they don’t then go to public schools to benefit from public money.

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Strongly Disagree

We have many states that have proven they can’t handle it. Oklahoma being one of the top examples!

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.

Disagree

I believe we must provide for everything our police departments need to properly do their jobs. I also believe we can fund both areas without taking from the other.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

I believe we must get back to common sense gun laws. Having accountability for not following these laws. Not just anyone should have a firearm.

JUDICIAL PHILOSOPHY

The Supreme Court should be reformed to include more seats.

Agree

I believe we have grown and should have one for every circuit.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Choose not to answer

I will allow others to label me. I feel I’m more in the middle and I am very open to hear all sides. I believe we must be able to listen to everyone to get the best solutions for our problems.

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

To work for the People! Step in in areas that may require guidance where many areas are at a disagreement.

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

No

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

No

VALUES

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Disagree

I believe we are not to cast judgement, that is for God. I stand for equality.

Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from abuse, including gender ideology, grooming, and bodily mutilation.

Agree

I agree our child should be protected from abuse. I also agree that each individual better understands how they identify. They are the best judge on whom they are. Again I stand with equality. I believe we should require the child to have parental consent or be of legal age to make certain decisions.

Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.

Agree

If you are in a healthcare system that is paid for with taxpayer dollars, then yes. It is healthcare.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I’m baptist and believe in loving one another. I believe it isn’t my place or any other humans place to cast judgement. That is for God and God only.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Agree

If they have their voter ID then yes that should be good enough. We have done it that way for many years.

The Electoral College should be abolished.

Strongly Agree

I believe we should be on a popular vote system. Ever Vote is as strong as another.

EQUALITY

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Agree

Unfortunately this is the case in some cases. I don’t believe it is always the case, but it is in many.

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Disagree

If the changes has taken place and the hormone therapy is being done, then they should participate in the area they are transitioned to. I do believe we must look into certain sports and the actual advantages that they may have.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.

Strongly Agree

We must work together to ensure we have a planet for generations to come. We must work to provide cleaner options while working with our energy producers to provide a cleaner way of producing the current energy supply.

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

I believe we will use multiple solar, wind, and water. We must continue to research others as well. We must never settle and always look for better ways.
