QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
Only to save the life of the mother
Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.
Strongly Agree
I disagree with the use of chemical abortion drugs.
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Strongly Disagree
I do not support any assisted suicide or MAID laws.
ECONOMY
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
I support the free market.
What is your position on the minimum wage?
I do not support minimum wage laws.
Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?
No
The government should be prohibited from doing business with organizations that endorse the use of, or require adherence to environmental and social issues ratings.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Under what circumstances can government close churches?
The government cannot close churches in any circumstances.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
No one should be required to perform any task for any employer, that requires the employee violate their moral and religious beliefs. Employers must make reasonable accommodation to employees' requesting a deviation from company policy in this regard.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
C, No further programs should be allowed, except for military healthcare, like Tri-Care, which is earned and paid for by the military/retired military member. Medicaid use and qualifications needs to be reviewed periodically to make sure that abuse is reduced. I do not think Medicare is cost effective and needs to be better controlled. Medicaid is intended to be a safety net and not intended for able bodied people to use it.
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
All vaccinations should be voluntary. Since most schools, employers allow for exemptions, there should be no requirements.
NATIONAL SECURITY
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Strongly Agree
Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?
Yes, it's important. The relationship is longstanding and mutually beneficial. Israel's effectiveness of fighting terrorism is beneficial to our own national security. I also believe that Israel is favored by God as is stated in the Bible.
IMMIGRATION
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Potential immigrants should be required to apply to come to the US. Immigrants should possess needed skills and abilities that will strengthen our country. In some cases, close relatives of US citizens can be allowed in, but only if the related US citizen can prove ability to support the immigrant(s). We should perform rigorous background checks to ensure applicants are not criminals.
EDUCATION
The state should fund education by allowing dollars to follow the child through programs which protect parents' freedom to choose their child's school – public, private, or homeschool.
Strongly Agree
With a caveat. Government funding often comes with strings attached. I favor school choice, but with no conditions when it comes to home school curriculum, or any regulation or restriction to religious education in any form. I believe that school choice will improve the quality of public education because of competition.
VALUES
Children have the right to be protected from sexually explicit materials in publicly funded libraries, including school libraries.
Strongly Agree
Children MUST be protected. Parents have the right to protect their children. Any public or private school employee or librarian who provides adult level sexually explicit materials to children should be criminally prosecuted.
Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from harm, including from gender ideology and bodily mutilation.
Strongly Agree
Absolutely agree.
Parents should have the right to make decisions for their minor children.
Strongly Agree
Parents should always have the right to make decisions for their minor children. Some things will always be age restricted, such as tattoos, illicit drug use, alcohol use, and any permanent elective surgery that will impede a child's future health and reproductive ability.
Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.
Strongly Disagree
There is no such thing as gender dysphoria. This is a mental health condition and as such, needs to be treated as a mental illness by licensed appropriate healthcare providers. Neither should health insurance companies be forced to pay for elective surgeries.
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.
Strongly Agree
I agree. Marriage is not within the government's purview to control. The government can control partnerships and unions for those who are areligious.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a Christian. I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior when I was 9 years old. I believe in the Bible and the teachings of Jesus Christ. I believe in the power of prayer. I believe that our country was founded on Judeo Christian precepts and that our government has slid far from that foundation.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
I have to show an ID to rent a car, open a bank account, fly on an airplane, or buy a bottle of Nyquil. Voting is at least as important as any of these.
States should join the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact which makes the Electoral College irrelevant.
Strongly Disagree
The Left has been trying to invalidate the Electoral College for quite some time. We are NOT a democracy and cannot allow for democratic elections for our President. This is contrary to the basic concepts of a Republic.
EQUALITY
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
No. We've come a long way in the USA toward eliminating racism. Racism has been promoted as a major national malady by the Leftists who desire communist takeover of the USA. It's not about race. Because we don't have a class system, communists have substituted race for class. We have established safety laws which must be upheld to ensure everyone is safe. Regulating behaviors as "racist" is an attempt to regulate thoughts and beliefs and cannot be allowed.
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
Again, an attempt by communists to orchestrate a takeover of our nation by implementing a class system. This is a form of thought control as well and cannot be permitted.
Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.
Strongly Agree
We have public safety laws for good reasons- to protect the vulnerable. Schools and pro-sports must ensure that female athletes are female. They can take advantage of coed sports programs for those who desire that.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Which comes closest to your view? (Select all that apply) A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost. C) Stricter environmental laws undermine U.S. energy independence and deter development of reliable electricity sources. D) Climate change is real and requires urgent policy action.
A and C. We have lost the ability to use and evaluate real science and facts in favor of trendy pseudo-science. This is happening to our detriment and at great unnecessary expense. Our nation is a leader in the reduction of pollution and carcinogens and has improved our world measurably in terms of reducing poverty, affordable energy. Government interference in "climate change" is wrong.
What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?
Nuclear energy, American coal and oil.
ABOUT YOU
Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.
No. I have never been accused of any crimes, other than a moving violation while driving one time many years ago.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.
No.
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
The government is here to protect us, the citizens, from the government. National defense, public protection such as fire fighting, police. Citizens formed the government to protect our God given rights.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
I have become more and more conservative as I have aged--experience and education have developed my political and moral makeup.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.
Strongly Disagree
2ND AMENDMENT
Please express your views on the 2nd Amendment.
I support the 2nd Amendment wholeheartedly. I am a member of Wyoming Gun Owners, Gun Owners of America, and the National Rifle Association. I believe the government has no right to restrict my right to own any arms I feel I need to own and use.
OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES
I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.
Strongly Disagree
I do not. I believe that marijuana is a gateway drug and should continue to be considered illegal.
