QUESTIONNAIRE*
RIGHT TO LIFE
Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
Never
Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.
Strongly Disagree
Chemical abortion should be outlawed in the United States.
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
I believe that our taxpayer dollars should not support these organizations.
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Strongly Disagree
ECONOMY
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
A free enterprise system for a productive economic system is where the Government places minimal regulations or restrictions. Where individuals achieve their version of the American dream influenced by demand and supply, not the government.
What is your position on the minimum wage?
I believe that a person deserves a fair wage for a day of fair work. The last increase in minimum wage was July 24, 2009. I think there should be an increase in the cost of living wage increases for individuals. The cost of living is more expensive.
Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?
No
I would say that it is a risk management tool that has many variables that could increase the portfolio or decrease it.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Under what circumstances can government close churches?
Never
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Neutral
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
C/I am not adding to or taking away from healthcare options.
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
Never
NATIONAL SECURITY
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Strongly Agree
Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?
Yes. We have always supported Israel as one of our chief allies. I don't believe we should discontinue this.
IMMIGRATION
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Only through legal means. That you would seek to become a US citizen the right way and not through open borders.
EDUCATION
The state should fund education by allowing dollars to follow the child through programs which protect parents' freedom to choose their child's school – public, private, or homeschool.
Strongly Agree
I believe in school choice but here in Wyoming, there are not a lot of choices available. I do believe those who homeschool should receive the same money that public schools receive
VALUES
Children have the right to be protected from sexually explicit materials in publicly funded libraries, including school libraries.
Strongly Agree
Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from harm, including from gender ideology and bodily mutilation.
Strongly Agree
Parents should have the right to make decisions for their minor children.
Strongly Agree
Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.
Strongly Disagree
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.
Strongly Agree
God created man and woman.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I believe in Jesus Christ. He died for my sins. I believe in the Trinity. Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
We need to not only have voter ID with a picture but also proof of US Citizenship.
States should join the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact which makes the Electoral College irrelevant.
Strongly Disagree
There is a reason our forefathers invoked the Electoral College in the Constitution. As a compromise when it came to inventing a system to elect the President.
EQUALITY
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Yes. Because the United States is just that, united. When you have division, a divided union we can not stand a threat like 2020, on the whole as a Country.
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
It is being used to teach children that they are racist and that the U.S. is a racist country.
Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.
Strongly Agree
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Which comes closest to your view? (Select all that apply) A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost. C) Stricter environmental laws undermine U.S. energy independence and deter development of reliable electricity sources. D) Climate change is real and requires urgent policy action.
A, C
What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?
Coal. I worked in the coal industry for over 25 years. It provided for my family and I believe that we need to keep the coal plants open.
ABOUT YOU
Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.
No
Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.
No
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
The purpose of the Federal Government, as found in the Preamble of the Constitution, to "establish justice, ensure domestic tranquility, to provide for the common defense, support the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity."
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.
Strongly Disagree
Any policy or program that results in an inoperative law enforcement unit will be a disaster to the community no matter where or how they redirect the funds.
2ND AMENDMENT
Please express your views on the 2nd Amendment.
The Constitution of the United States was inspired by a common belief in "inalienable" Rights granted by God. These rights cannot be taken away from, or given away by, an individual or a Government. Thomas Jefferson said, "Free men do not ask to bear arms."
OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES
I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.
Disagree
I think that it is up to the citizens of the state whether there should be an allowance for medical use. So, I say let the people decide on the issue with their choice by voting.
