QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
Life of the mother, rape, incest
Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.
Strongly Agree
Chemical abortions should not be allowed at all. If it must be done, a surgical abortion is the only way to make it completely effective.
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Strongly Disagree
ECONOMY
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
What is your position on the minimum wage?
Not all jobs are meant to support a family, or even a single person. Some jobs are simply there to teach someone with little or no work experience how to be an employee. Higher minimums are just passed on to the consumer in the end. Nullifying them.
Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?
Choose not to answer
There is no basic answer. In a case by case basis, we can decide where money goes. However, there should be a hierarchy stating who has priority. For example, putting the infrastructure and future use of resources should be first. Then, let agencies show why they need funds and we split the monies from there.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Under what circumstances can government close churches?
None. Our country may have founded on Christian beliefs, but separation of church and state should be remain completely.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
A business is private property and should always retain the right to refuse service. The reason does not matter.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
I have to say "C" here. Private organizations can be established for healthcare, like the program I mentioned earlier, Childrens Miracle Network. There are other programs like St. Jude that have to cost to parents who cannot afford. I don't mind if my money goes to help these programs, but I want to decide myself where that money is going.
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
Never.
NATIONAL SECURITY
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Neutral
The US quality of training has drastically and tragically declined over the last decade or so. We need to go back to the standards, at least, of the 90's. Our troops are no longer trained for war, they're trained for parades and shows of perceived power at best. Cyber, intellectual and economics is where the real threat from them comes from.
Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?
Yes. When you have good friends that are always there for you, you tend to want to keep them around. We've been their allies and were the first to recognize them as a their own nation since 1948. Even the strongest people have others looking out for them and that have specialties. The US no different. We have allies that specialties for a reason.
IMMIGRATION
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Anyone should be able to come here, circumstances shouldn't matter. What DOES matter is HOW they come here. Open borders are an invitation to chaos. We have a process to become citizens and requirements as well. We have ways to just come here as a student, or as a worker, but there is a process.
EDUCATION
The state should fund education by allowing dollars to follow the child through programs which protect parents' freedom to choose their child's school – public, private, or homeschool.
Strongly Agree
Monies that are set for the students should follow them.
VALUES
Children have the right to be protected from sexually explicit materials in publicly funded libraries, including school libraries.
Strongly Agree
Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from harm, including from gender ideology and bodily mutilation.
Strongly Agree
Parents should have the right to make decisions for their minor children.
Agree
It would depend on the decision...the children have rights as well.
Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.
Strongly Disagree
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.
Neutral
Your question already has government interference by saying "legal union."
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
Christian, right to life, TRUE equality of opportunity,
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
Absolutely not!!
States should join the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact which makes the Electoral College irrelevant.
Neutral
I just think it shouldn't be possible to win one, without the other.
EQUALITY
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
True racism...maybe. However, not what some people THINK is racist, like wearing certain clothes or listening to certain music.
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.
Strongly Agree
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Which comes closest to your view? (Select all that apply) A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost. C) Stricter environmental laws undermine U.S. energy independence and deter development of reliable electricity sources. D) Climate change is real and requires urgent policy action.
The climate has been going back and forth like a pendulum since the beginning of time. While we are certainly not helping the environment and certain steps should be taken to improve our air, water and land quality; we are making strides to live a better living environment.
What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?
Right now, the most efficient producer of energy is wind. The problem is that different areas require different methods. Wyoming has the wind to support wind energy, but places like Eugene Oregon don't have sufficient wind. They use Hydro power.
ABOUT YOU
Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.
No
Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.
No
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
The government should maintain infrastructure and commerce as an administrator.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Conservative
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.
Strongly Disagree
The way I see it, the police ARE a community program designed to "Protect and Serve."
2ND AMENDMENT
Please express your views on the 2nd Amendment.
It is absolute! Safety training should always be offered at no cost to gun owners, but not required.
OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES
I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.
Disagree
