RIGHT TO LIFE
Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
I feel we should Alter the Hyde Amendment which prevents government funding for abortion with exception for emergency medical related services. Most importantly, we believe all unborn children have a fundamental right to live in order to avail themselves of these equal opportunities. We commend all those who provide or promote alternatives to abortion with the exception of medical emergencies. Every growth in life begans with a living seed...So how is a fetus not alive?
Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.
Neutral
Every growth in life begans with a living seed...So how is a fetus not alive? All Medical doctors should consider this when performing such a procedure. Is it medically necessary?
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Under what circumstances can government close churches?
According to the constitution, the law of seperation of church and state was to prevent the state from interfering with the church affairs. As a descendant from the family of Cheif Justice John Marshall, the church was a free people. However, because of the history of cases like the Jim Jones catastrophe, there are times when the government must step in to protect the citizens who become subject to situations as these.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

The First Amendment to the United States Constitution guarantees the free exercise of religion. The purpose of the WLAD is to fulfill “the provisions of the Constitution of this state concerning civil rights.” RCW 4.16.080 ...
