QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

Every life is precious, but when a woman's life is being threatened, or in the circumstance where she is the victim of rape or incest; situations that are traumatic and devastating, do at times, render this decision.

Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.

Strongly Agree

The tender, psychological condition of a pregnant woman making this difficult decision, met with honest pro counsel, can transform. Consequences should be placed on every perpetrator of rape and incest that have violated victims, who should never be placed back to reoffend. Rapist should have harsher consequences and serve longer prison terms while being required to pay higher fines for bail, so they no longer reoffend, nor set a bad example for others to follow the offense they got away with.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

Planned Parenthood does not concern itself with women's emotional and psychological well-being, but with the almighty dollar. There should be honest, truthful mention of the post challenges many women encounter, especially unexpected waves of devastation, depression, and suicidal thoughts that can follow. Planned Parenthood comes up with exorbitant charges per multiple, unnecessary visits. Additional check ups charges taxpayers over $500 per unneeded, but overcharged visit.

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Disagree

I acknowledge in these instances, some people in such debilitating pain simply desire to be free from their pain. But alternatives of beneficial ways to relieve pain or discomfort, as group support and prayer, healthier alternative ways to relieve pain with use of natural antiinflammatories, the release of intrinsic endorphins, and if needed, medical or surgical assistance when applicable, should all be available, sought after options, attempted primarily and first.

ECONOMY

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

Living our American dream is achievable in a free enterprise system, with less government interference of high taxes and control.

What is your position on the minimum wage?

I think it's great that the minimum wage has gone up, but unfortunately, the cost of living still needs to come down for many employees who still find it difficult just to maintain housing.

Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?

Choose not to answer

I am in full support of communities who grow their own produce, and raise their own fish or livestock to supply nourishment. However, unnecessary spending that depletes ability to purchase daily necessities such as groceries, gas, or affordable housing at affordable costs, should always be placed secondary to meeting top, family needs of Washingtonians. Monies invested toward lesser important measures depends on what specific environmental, or social issue we are talking about.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

When lives are being threatened under immoral or illegal activity.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Disagree

No one should be forced to do something that comes against their personal beliefs. Everyone has a right to their own religion being respected by others. Establishments should have options made available for those who are willing to provide the same service; that does not violate personal and religious beliefs. It would be optimal to equip all establishments with both kinds of personalities; those who are also willing to provide that same service, without it infringing on their own beliefs.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

C) Healthcare should be available for all Washington citizens first and most, especially for all Washingtonians who need this option. I believe seniors and Veterans should become a priority of healthcare coverage provided with the best, most optimum coverage and care. I do believe that our taxpayer dollars should implement coverage for those individuals seeking various preventative birth control, related doctor's services and exams, as an alternative to repeated (termination of pregnancy).

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

Because serious complications following vaccinations have occurred of adverse effects, not all vaccine can be trusted. A religious exemption to all vaccines should always remain our Constitutional Right for every American, regardless of circumstance.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Agree

I believe we should all show caution in being aware what we agree to, or download upon our personal devices. There are ways we can safeguard ourselves against this type of cyber security threat we are seeing in our Nation today. This requires better monitoring, more effective strategies to becoming proactive. And remaining proactive in protecting our local assets from the misuse of Chinese "buying-up".

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

Our positive relationship with Israel is important knowing Israel assuredly supports the USA in powerful alliance. Joining forces together strengthens the USA during times of need, yet is not only beneficial, it paves the way to a more peaceful future. And because Israel will stand with us, I believe we should loyaly stand with Israel also.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

Even though we have shown compassion on mankind, when it comes to the threat of deadly fentanyl, meth, illegal drugs, sex trafficking and possible criminal violence, it is imperative that we maintain the security of our borders for the protection of our own Washington citizens, first and most, especially for the preservation of our armed forces and families.

EDUCATION

The state should fund education by allowing dollars to follow the child through programs which protect parents' freedom to choose their child's school – public, private, or homeschool.

Agree

I believe every parent should have the freedom to make decisions on behalf of their children's best interest and often, protection from some of what is being taught in public schools. Also, the ability of parents to express disapproval of school programs should also be supported towards more productive opportunities. On behalf of the best ways taken towards children's advancement, programs chosen by parents should be supported in funding.

VALUES

Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from abuse, including gender ideology, grooming, and bodily mutilation.

Strongly Agree

Children are too young to understand, and should not be subjected to mature sexual content, but should be protected from this kind of age inappropriate exposure. Children should never be involved, or led into sexually mature content, or be given the decision to make life-altering decisions of any kind, especially without their parent's protective involvement. Teachers should never allow anything sexual into the classroom, especially that has not been given permission by parental acknowledgment.

Parents should have the right to make decisions for their minor children.

Strongly Agree

I strongly agree that parents, at all times, in all circumstances, should have every right to get involved with their children's lives and choices, especially because children are too young and mentally vulnerable to fully understand mature topics. I believe a minor who is under the age of 19 is not mature enough to make life altering decisions.

Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.

Strongly Disagree

When we have Washingtonians that are suffering and in need of life-sustaining services that are far more imperative, never, should our taxpayer dollars go towards unnecessary surgeries or services. Life saving services that eliminate cancer, or help sustain the heart and kidneys, should be at the forefront of importance before unnecessary gender services are charged to all taxpayers who are forced to cover them.

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Agree

According to my own religious beliefs, I do agree the sanctity of marriage is ordained by God between a man and a woman, but I also acknowledge that others may have their own differing viewpoints and freedoms to make other choices. I also acknowledge that it has become a permitted choice that particular states have placed into law, even if I do not condone these types of marriages myself.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I believe that God is the foundation of our lives and country. I believe in family and Christ, and the freedoms we have to live a life with greater purpose in Him. I believe spirituality is shown in how we listen and care for one another. I believe the Word of God speaks truth. I believe in the power of prayer, and I still remain hopeful that we will see better days ahead! I believe that the best place for us to be is in the center of God's perfect will, and that we should all do our best to dwell in UNITY according to Psalm 133.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Disagree

The requirement of a photo ID protects our rights as US citizens to proper identification in order to better safeguard our individual ability to vote.

States should join the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact which makes the Electoral College irrelevant.

Disagree

The Electoral College has been our effective, American tradition used by voters over many years, and I believe it should remain the standard way that we continue to cast our vote as a US citizen.

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

I do not believe that racism is a major threat to our security because our more imminent focus is on major wars and global-related issues that are needing to be tackled or mended. Racism, although it may exist in some places such as University campuses, is still not one of our most urgent domestic security threats.

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

When our Washington students are drifting away from basic foundational studies of history, where those of fair skin (are not evil), and reading, writing, math and science are still relevant, we all need to return back to true informative paths of learning that do not masquerade "an agenda". If we don't get back to our basic foundations of true learning in our schools, bigger problems become increasingly more imminent that lie ahead.

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

Not only is allowing biological men offensive and unsafe in women's locker rooms, it violates the foundation of our rights and distorts what children know to be wrong or right. This kind of confusion needs to stop, and chromosomes should always be the determining factor of a person's gender.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? (Select all that apply) A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost. C) Stricter environmental laws undermine U.S. energy independence and deter development of reliable electricity sources. D) Climate change is real and requires urgent policy action.

A better environment that collaborates with local jobs can actually work together: Although I am passionate about preserving our environment for future generations, I do believe that we need to find innovative ways to merge the healing of our environment with valuable local employment, employment that is made available to every Washington citizen.

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

Right now, I am focused on solar powered energy being made more readily available, and affordable to all Washingtonians that could definitely supply a growing demand for electricity and help lower electric bills.

ABOUT YOU

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

NO

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

NO

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

I believe it is an honor to serve, protect, and better help fulfill the needs of citizens to thrive in life, and sleep better at night.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Lean Conservative

Although I consider myself to lean conservative, I do not agree with radical extremism on either side. I actually enjoy listening to both sides of a matter, in order to form better solutions that work toward advancing us all.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.

Strongly Disagree

We need more quality police that are properly supported and given lawful ability to pursue, arrest and in prison criminals. With around only 300 police officers per every 100,000 Washington citizens, we need to increase the amount of quality police officers in our state to protect our streets, businesses and homes. De-stress our police, do not defund them. I have a wonderful plan for improved training, increased wellness programs for our officers, with the proper backing to arrest criminals.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

I believe in better and more extensive gun training, that thoroughly teaches every firearm owner our local codes and regulations. The additional teaching of cleaning, storage, and when to, or when not to bear arms, will also better inform gun owners and license carriers. Better training will also help to avoid the misuse of firearms and number one cause of accidental death among our children.

Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?

Choose not to answer

Because children are around a teacher's desk or office, I do not think it's a good idea for a child have accidental access to a teacher's gun. I do believe police security, who are well trained on each school campus, should be able to have access to bear arms, but teachers having guns in the classroom, may be a little too close for comfort, to the possibility of children misusing them.
