RIGHT TO LIFE
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
SCOTUS ruled that states now have jurisdiction and I’m running for federal office. However, I am opposed to the federal funding of abortions.
Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.
Strongly Agree
Just like all other medications, safety is required by the FDA. Ongoing monitoring is also required by the FDA's Post-marketing Surveillance Program and that adverse reactions/results are published in the Federal Adverse Event Reporting System (FAERS)
Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
SCOTUS ruled that states now have jurisdiction. I’m running for federal office and my personal beliefs now have no bearing.
Does the federal government have a role to play in limiting abortion, and if so what federal steps and/or federal legislation would you support?
SCOTUS ruled that the federal government no longer has jurisdiction. However, federal legislation can be introduced to restrict late term abortion, support prenatal care, adoption, fertility treatments, and access to birth control.
ECONOMY
What actions would you take that would allow Americans to retain more of their income and wealth?
Initiate tax cuts, unleash free market, reciprocal trade, reduce govt spending, stimulate economy, etc. to ensure job stability, home/investment protection, etc. for all. Ensure Social Security funding/protection for citizens & implement tax reform.
Student loan forgiveness unfairly shifts the financial burden to those not responsible for student debt.
Strongly Agree
Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?
No
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
As the founders intended, they wanted to protect against government control of religion (religion and state union). Government is prohibited from interfering with all people of faith in terms of what to believe, where/how/when to worship, who can lead/deliver doctrine, etc. The phrase, “separation of church & state” is not in the Constitution.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
HEALTHCARE
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
Our bodies, our choice. As a Constitutionally protected free people, American’s have the right to choose whether or not they want a vaccine.
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
Government subsidized healthcare insurance and private healthcare options should continue to be available for all who want it. Reform is needed to improve/manage free-market competitiveness, costs, availability, etc.
NATIONAL SECURITY
With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.
There is an urgent need to address & remediate U.S. immigration policies/practices and improve foreign policy, food chain/security, manufacturing capability, and military/cyber security to protect our national sovereignty and security. As a world leader, there is merit in concurrently supporting current/future allies to grow our trading partnerships, relations, and mutual anti-terrorism intelligence/technology/methods.
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Strongly Agree
Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?
Historically, the U.S. and Israel share Judeo-Christian principles/values and each country has bidirectionally advocated and/or protected each other. Israel is on the front lines of mitigating radical forces in the middle east that want to destroy each of our countries. Israel has stalled the proliferation of weapons, is a close trading partner and ally that shares intelligence on terrorism, nuclear arms proliferation, and military defense technology/systems/tactics.
What are the causes of decline in U.S. military recruitment and retention?
Younger people are being indoctrinated into an ideology that lacks a sense of pride in being an American citizen, pride in our country, and pride in our uniquely American culture. This mindset combined with the lack of funding for personnel/development/resources/maintenance, focus on non-military objectives, restrictive rules of engagement, forced experimental vaccines, etc. has led to a dramatic decline in our military recruitment/retention.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
The U.S. already has existing guest-worker, student, visitor/visa programs & restricts entrants likely to be public charges. Applicants should apply from their country of origin, demonstrate need, and be fully vetted prior to entry. Balance entry consideration amongst those with needed skills, those seeking asylum, and those seeking economic opportunity where entrants don’t replace citizen jobs, burden infrastructure (i.e. food supply, housing, healthcare, etc.), or endanger citizens/country.
EDUCATION
I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.
Strongly Agree
I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.
Agree
I believe there is continued value in partnering with states to enable/facilitate the sharing of lessons-learned/best practices, ensuring common measures to rate, calibrate, and rank grade/university-level performance & success, and benchmark other countries to ensure global competitiveness.
VALUES
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.
Agree
I personally agree with this definition, but also recognize that there are people that do not believe in God and/or have different values.
Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from abuse, including gender ideology, grooming, and bodily mutilation.
Strongly Agree
Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.
Strongly Disagree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a Christian and consider myself to personally hold and practice traditional values. I also believe that others should have the continued freedom to practice faiths different than mine.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
Incrementally, proof of citizenship should be mandatory
The Electoral College should be abolished.
Strongly Disagree
EQUALITY
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.
Strongly Agree
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.
Strongly Disagree
What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?
Nuclear, natural gas, and coal are all domestically reliable sources of energy to product electricity. Differences arise when factoring impact on the land, sea, and air environmental lifecycle.
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
Generally, uphold the Constitution and natural law, ensure our rights as unified free people, protect our homeland from enemies (foreign and domestic), and promote the well-being of our entire country.
Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.
No
Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.
No
JUDICIAL PHILOSOPHY
The Supreme Court should be reformed to include more seats.
Strongly Disagree
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.
Strongly Disagree
Only in cases where police departments are truly overfunded
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
Existing federal law restricts gun ownership by those convicted of violent crimes.
