QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
Life of the mother or incest
Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.
Strongly Agree
Why would we want to us woman to find out how or what the outcomes are?
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
You cannot use the taxes of those who oppose the abortion issue. Let those who support it fund it.
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Strongly Disagree
Only our creator has the right to decide when a life should end this side of heaven.
ECONOMY
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
I believe the Capitalistic economic system produces the best opportunities for Liberty and the Persuit of Happiness as stipulated in the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution.
What is your position on the minimum wage?
It stifles opportunities for those who are entering the workforce because it causes businesses to limit their hiring. It is also an example of government intervention where it has no business being involved.
Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?
No
I believe ESG has no place in our societal interests.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Under what circumstances can government close churches?
None
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
No one has the right to require someone to do anything that violates their moral or religious beliefs. There are always alternatives, it may require an inconvenient accommodation, we have a Republican form of government, it is a lack of understanding the rights under that form of government that usually results in this type of question or stance.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
Univeral Health care will make our medical industry a government agency with no incentives for doctors and nurses to better themselves professionally or economically which leads to a stagnate Health Care system much like any communistic or socialistic countries have.
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
none, because I believe in Parental Rights, and no one is "forced" to work at a place that requires it.
NATIONAL SECURITY
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Strongly Agree
To my knowledge, Donald Trump was the first President to thwart the Chinese threat to the U.S. and I believe he has the best foreign policies of any other Presidential Candidate.
Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?
It is the most important foreign policy we have for all the reasons our Creator laid out in the bible and history has proven to be true.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
Our country has always had a regulated immigration system for two basic reasons. First, to vet all immigrants to make sure they are going to be an asset and not a liability. Second, to balance our job market to the number of people available to fill them, otherwise we flood the job market with too many people and that drives economic problems much like we see today. Therefore, we must get control of our border for these two basic reasons.
EDUCATION
The state should fund education by allowing dollars to follow the child through programs which protect parents' freedom to choose their child's school – public, private, or homeschool.
Strongly Agree
I believe the capitalistic system is as applicable to our education system as it is to any other industry. Competition is always a good thing.
VALUES
Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from abuse, including gender ideology, grooming, and bodily mutilation.
Strongly Agree
Absolutely, I believe our public schooling has become an indoctrination center instead of an educational institution. This thing of students being taught gender ideology and allowing boys in girls bathrooms has got to stop if we are to maintain a society with any moral values at all.
Parents should have the right to make decisions for their minor children.
Strongly Agree
I am a strong advocate for Parental Rights.
Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.
Strongly Disagree
Government (in any form) has no business in this issue whatsoever.
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.
Strongly Agree
You're dealing with our creators "Natural Laws" anytime you think you can question or contradict them; you will lose every time.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I have trusted Jesus Christ as my personal Saviour. I do not believe "religion" will do anything for your eternal salvation but a personal relationship with Jesus Christ is the difference between heaven and hell.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
I believe in election integrity and the only way you're going to do that is with photo identity.
States should join the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact which makes the Electoral College irrelevant.
Strongly Disagree
Our founding forefathers instituted the Electoral College for a reason. To eliminate the electoral college would leave us with a democratic form of government, they were so opposed to that they specifically put Article IV, section 4 in the Constitution which states; "The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican form of government.....". If you don't understand the difference between a democracy and a republic, therein lies the problem.
EQUALITY
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Yes, it is because it divides people by race, ethnicity, religion etc. The Declaration of Independence addressed that when it stated that "all men are created equal". It may have taken us a while to get it right, but we know that a house divided cannot stand.
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
They don't call it Critical Race "Theory" for no reason. So, who's theory, is it? I totally disagree with it because I don't see it in our everyday lives.
Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.
Strongly Agree
Natural law is all the witness we need regarding this issue.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Which comes closest to your view? (Select all that apply) A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost. C) Stricter environmental laws undermine U.S. energy independence and deter development of reliable electricity sources. D) Climate change is real and requires urgent policy action.
We do not need "stricter laws" regarding our environment, and I do not support government subsidies' to fund all these "green energy" programs. I do have an energy program that reduces our carbon footprint by over 70%, my home is a net-zero home. My program has been applied to over 2,000 homes and businesses so the numbers are verified and verifiable. You can read about my energy program on my website at samforcolorado.com.
What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?
It's not about the energy you use, it's about the energy you "don't" use. My energy program reduces out energy consumption by over 50% which means we have an existing grid system that is plenty big enough and we don't need more energy production.
ABOUT YOU
Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.
No.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.
No.
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
Article IV, section 4 of our Constitution lays it out pretty well when it states that our Republican form of government "shall protect each of them against invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence". Now there are many other things government can do but the basic reason for government is for "SAFETY" both from foreign and domestic sources.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Conservative
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.
Strongly Disagree
I totally support our police and first responders and believe they must be given the limited immunity. If an officer gives a command and the person does not respond in an obedient manner, then that officer should be given immunity to do whatever he/she has to do to get the situation under control.
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
None
Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?
Yes
The only reason we find ourselves in this situation is because we have taken "God" out of our schools. We teach our kids that they simply "evolved" and that we are a product of chance and then we wonder why they shoot each other? Before we took God out of our schools the only discipline problems teachers had to deal with was talking and chewing gum. I know because I grew up when that was the case.
