Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
In my opinion, elective abortion is the murder of an innocent life. Elective abortion is murder; murder is a crime; legalizing murder should not be allowed. How a nation or state treats the most innocent and defenseless members of its society speaks volumes. If a nation's constitution & government are truly looking out to protect the life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness of the citizenry, then protecting and defending innocent life is of the utmost importance.

The free market (companies and businesses, business owners) should be able to determine competitive wages for their employees. Forcing a raised minimum wage can lead to job losses, outsourcing to other states or countries, and higher inflation.

#1) Activating a Department Of Government Efficiency (D.O.G.E.) for Michigan, establishes immediate transparency to the tax payers. #2) Cutting income tax. #3) Removing and/or reforming property taxes for homeowners. ALL of these priorities will help to reduce the state government's bloated budget. This forces the legislature to: 'learn to do more, with less'. This leads to a reduction in wasteful spending, cutting costs, and elimination of waste & financial abuse of our tax dollars.

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
Separation of church institutions and the state means that the government cannot force or require the citizens to worship or adopt a specific religion or faith. It separates the government from church institutions (not separate religion from public life or political debate), allowing individuals to bring their faith-based values into the public sphere.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

The U.S. Supreme Court has recently ruled that individuals and businesses providing "expressive" services cannot be forced to violate their moral or religious beliefs, prioritizing First Amendment free speech rights over certain anti-discrimination laws. This allows for limited refusals of service based on beliefs.

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. YES. I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.

Sanctuary cities have been a safe-haven for murders, thieves, and criminals to live and stay. If people want to stay and live in America, they should do it the right way --- legally --- applying to become a U.S. citizen. This way, our nation and government knows who should and should not be here. (It is a pillar of our national security, and it must be respected). Sanctuary cities disrespect the righteous rule of law and order, and create a cancer of lawlessness in our state.

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

The U.S. Department of Education was created by Congress, and fully eliminating it requires congressional approval. Nonetheless in 2025, President Trump signed an Executive Order aimed at closing the department and returning education control to local communities.

I am a born-again, Bible-believing, Holy Spirit-Filled, Kingdom-minded Christian / follower of Yeshua (Jesus Christ) of Nazareth. I believe in Heaven and Hell, that the Bible is the Word of God, and Truth is absolute! I agree with President George Washington that, "it is impossible to RIGHTLY govern a nation without God and the Bible." Our generation now sees and has experienced that "the propitious smiles of Heaven can never be expected on a nation that disregards the eternal rules of order and right, which Heaven itself has ordained." If America ever ceases to be good, she will cease to be great. Hence America, Michigan, and We The People must return to our Judaeo-Christian values & principles, upon which our nation was founded.

State-issued & approved photo identification and/or proof of US citizenship with voter registration is a VERY NECESSARY protocol to help maintain election integrity, in any election anywhere. No official government-issued photo ID = No vote. Very simple.

Basic political / government action is needed to help protect & steward the environment and our resources (lakes, forests, farmlands, etc). However, the excuse of 'man-made climate change' has led to the abuse of political action over the years, which has put a strain on our liberty with increased taxation. One could argue that the abuse of political action by reprobate governmental bodies under the guise of 'protecting against climate change' is the real threat to our lives, liberty, and land!

2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
At this time, I do not feel that additional restrictions on gun ownership are needed. Under the current restriction on gun ownership, an individual convicted of a violent felony loses their right to bear arms. The sad truth, however, is that criminals do not obey the gun laws anyway (hence they are 'criminals'). So when/if the state government tries to ADD restrictions on gun ownership, it simply becomes more of a burden upon the law abiding citizens (who have the right to bear arms).
