RIGHT TO LIFE
Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
Under no circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed.
Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.
Strongly Agree
I personally believe that the abortion pill should be outlawed in North Dakota, and that companies who ship to North Dakota should be prosecuted.
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Strongly Disagree
I don't think that it's man's place to play "God" in the lives of people.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Under what circumstances can government close churches?
Under no circumstances should government be allowed to close churches.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
Each business owner should have the right to provide or not provide services according to their own moral and/or religious beliefs.
NATIONAL SECURITY
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Strongly Agree
Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?
Yes! Israel has always been a friend to the United States. We can depend on them more than any other country in the world. They are the one free nation in the middle east. It is our duty and obligation to support them.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
Because of the cost of healthcare, unfortunately it has become very difficult for people to purchase their own private insurance. I think that the private healthcare options should be the first choice of all Americans, but when that becomes unaffordable or unattainable, there should be other options available based on certain parameters.
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
Under absolutely no circumstances should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations.
ECONOMY
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
Free enterprise is what has made America the strong nation that she is. Without free enterprise and the right of people to own their own property, we would become just like every other communist or 3rd world country.
What is your position on the minimum wage?
Wages should be left up to each individual company and should be based on merit so as to make an incentive for people to work hard. Minimum wage, in my opinion, puts everyone at the same level and decreases the individual's desire to excel.
Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?
No
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
It is a travesty what is happening on our southern border. We are being overrun by illegals, and the money that they are given so freely is breaking the back of our economy. This is all done at the expense of hard-working Americans. The drugs that are brought in everyday are killing our children, and we have allowed this to continue for too long. Those involved in allowing this to happen should be tried for treason, or at the very least, removed from office.
EDUCATION
The state should fund education by allowing dollars to follow the child through programs which protect parents' freedom to choose their child's school – public, private, or homeschool.
Agree
I don't know what the best way would be to handle this. I do believe that parents should have a right to choose how they educate their children, and they shouldn't be penalized for choosing an alternative over the traditional government education. Unfortunately, anytime you take money from the government, somehow you end up indebted to them. If there is a way to help parents without that happening, I would be all for it.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.
Strongly Disagree
We need a strong police force to serve and protect the public. I am a strong supporter of local law enforcement. They have a very difficult and dangerous job, and they deserve to be compensated accordingly. Unfortunately, pro athletes make more money in one day, than a police officer makes in a year.
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
Every law-abiding citizen should have the right to bear arms and to protect himself, his family, and his property from any threat foreign or domestic. The less restrictions, the better.
Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?
Yes
Criminals don't obey gun laws. Not allowing guns in schools becomes an open invitation to every whacko out there to have his way in our public schools. Teachers should have the right to protect themselves from outside threats as well as potential inside threats.
ABOUT YOU
Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.
No
Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.
No
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
The preamble to the constitution says it best. Establish justice, ensure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
VALUES
Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from abuse, including gender ideology, grooming, and bodily mutilation.
Strongly Agree
Parents should have the right to make decisions for their minor children.
Strongly Agree
Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.
Strongly Disagree
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.
Strongly Agree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a born again, Bible believing follower of Jesus Christ. My desire is to live my life to bring honor and glory to him in all that I do and say.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
We require an ID to check in to Cosco because people are dishonest. It only makes sense to require ID's at the polls as well. We're well past the days of using the honor system.
States should join the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact which makes the Electoral College irrelevant.
Strongly Disagree
This would disenfranchise a whole group of people, mainly those in rural areas who tend to lean more conservative. Elected officials would wine and dine those in the big cities where the majority of people, who tend to be more liberal, live, effectively shutting down the conservative voice. This is why this is being pushed in many liberal states.
EQUALITY
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Only because many in our government and the proponents of CRT have allowed it to become a problem. Most children are programmed from a very young age, through the government school systems, to believe that just because they are white, they are racist. This is reprehensible.
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
There is only one race...the human race. The only difference between us is the amount of melanin in our skin. Many people who have more melanin in their skin, have come out against the idea of preferential treatment for them simply based on the pigmentation of their skin.
Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.
Strongly Agree
Women's groups should be in an uproar over this. Calling the tail of a horse a leg, doesn't make it a leg. It's still a tail. Men are men and women are women. What a great way for a male to get into a women's bathroom, locker room, etc. and then assault them at will. This is insanity at it's finest.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Which comes closest to your view? (Select all that apply) A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost. C) Stricter environmental laws undermine U.S. energy independence and deter development of reliable electricity sources. D) Climate change is real and requires urgent policy action.
Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jo bs and hurt the economy. I'm all for protecting the quality of our air and water, but seriously, maybe they should quit spraying chemicals into our atmosphere on a daily basis, not only in our country, but all over the world. I'm pretty sure this causes more damage to our air, water, and food supply than all the cows in the world. Climate change is nothing but another way to control our lives and destroy our economy.
What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?
Coal, oil, and gas. Our nation could be self-sufficient, as well as supply the world with energy if we would take advantage of our God-given resources.
