QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

Life of the mother. Rape and incest. Permissible when accompanied by proof of police report being filed. Abortion should not be used as a form of birth control, only in the rarest of circumstances. As someone who has experienced sexual assault, the first time just days after my 14th birthday; I would not have been equipped mentally, emotionally and especially physically to have a baby conceived in rape.

Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.

Strongly Agree

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Disagree

I believe we this deeply personal decision should not be punishable by law. When a loved one is stricken with an incurable disease that leaves them incapacitated, suffering from indescribable pain, unable to breathe without a ventilator or unable to eat without an NG tube; they should have the right to make that private decision with their family. The decision should be included in a notarized medical directive with clear instructions and guidelines.

ECONOMY

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

Part of the extraordinary appeal of America is the opportunity and ability of the individual to achieve personal success through innovation, ingenuity and hard work. In America, you have the right to make your own personal financial investments, decisions and amass personal assets/property.

What is your position on the minimum wage?

As someone who has owned small businesses, I believe federally mandated minimum wage of $20 per hour is devastating for most businesses, especially small business. I don’t disagree that it should be increased over the current rate.

Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?

No

No. These ratings are subjective and punitively punish businesses for noncompliance.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

None. I can’t define an event that would allow the government to dictate how the church should function.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

No. Where would we be had our Founder’s not stood firmly in their moral/religious beliefs? Furthermore, why would you want to force a business to serve you if they are openly rebuking you? Choosing where and with whom you spend your hard earned money is equally important in ensuring you receive the best care and service possible.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

C.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

None. These are personal decisions that should be left to the individual.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

I was recently briefed by someone who works for Homeland Security. The danger’s we’re facing from the CCP are even worse and more imminent than the general public is aware. They have full access to our sensitive intelligence, our electrical grid and have established sleeper cells in every state across America. America has continued borrowing money from the CCP, allowed the theft of our intellectual property to go unpunished and has allowed our military to diminish while they have expanded.

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

Yes. Israel is America’s strongest ally in the Middle East. That long standing relationship is absolutely being tested with our current administration.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

The Federal government has an obligation to protect Americans from invasion, they are not. A concerted effort by CCP and Mexican Cartel’s is killing 18-45yr olds faster than any other category due to illicit fentanyl. Human trafficking for labor and sex is at historic levels and we’re seeing repeated criminal offenders who’ve been deported numerous times. Enforcing legal immigration laws through a closed border would help protect everyone.

EDUCATION

The state should fund education by allowing dollars to follow the child through programs which protect parents' freedom to choose their child's school – public, private, or homeschool.

Strongly Agree

Every child has the right to a quality public education, not the privileged few.

VALUES

Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from abuse, including gender ideology, grooming, and bodily mutilation.

Strongly Agree

We must protect all vulnerable people, especially children. Decisions that will affect the rest of a persons life should be left to the individual when they are old enough to maturely understand all the consequences and outcomes, that requires adult reasoning. Children are impressionable, naturally inclined to trust adults in their lives. Any adult who abuses their position of power, trust and authority should be punished accordingly.

Parents should have the right to make decisions for their minor children.

Strongly Agree

Parents are the first line of defense in their children’s lives.

Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.

Strongly Disagree

If an adult has made the decision that this is the right or best path for them, they should ultimately be responsible financially and prepared mentally/emotionally for the challenges that may lay ahead. Use of tax dollars have been clearly defined. Unless voted on by the majority of the people, utilization of tax money for personal use (I can’t have cosmetic surgery with tax dollars) should not be considered in this context.

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Neutral

I believe we have much more serious issues that we should be addressing and focused on than an issue that has been resolved by SCOTUS. As long as the people are consenting adults, I have no right to interfere or tell them how they should live or with whom.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

Our faith is what sustains, guides and influences our lives. My Christian faith has always played an integral role in every aspect of my life. Facing the challenges of living with Multiple Sclerosis, a marriage destroyed by addiction and the loss of the only home my children had known would never have been possible without Christ in my life. Faith is deeply personal and I believe it should never be used as a weapon in the stigmatization of others. We should offer hope, compassion and forgiveness to those who are suffering, be a lifeline for change and growth. Protecting the unborn, children, elderly, addicted, afflicted and all vulnerable people is essential to our walk with God.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

Although we are able to vote currently with just our voter identification cards, I believe the added security that photo identification provides is vital in providing election integrity.

States should join the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact which makes the Electoral College irrelevant.

Strongly Disagree

The Founders had the foresight to understand the composition of each state and how a system must be instituted in order for small states to have a voice in our elections. Eliminating the electoral college would silence the voices of the smaller states and give complete control over to the big ones.

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Racism is something, I believe, that is rooted in lack of moral character, the unwillingness to accept anyone who is inherently different from you and perpetuated by those who have something to gain from the division. Children are not born with prejudice, it’s something they are taught. We have seen the results of our nation divided by race, I certainly hope that we have learned from these horrible events and are not destined to repeat them.

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

An institution is not inherently racist, it’s the individuals within who create a culture.

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

As a competitive athlete and junior Olympian growing up, I have a deep understanding and respect for competitive sports and the athlete’s who participate in them.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? (Select all that apply) A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost. C) Stricter environmental laws undermine U.S. energy independence and deter development of reliable electricity sources. D) Climate change is real and requires urgent policy action.

C. We have seen the job losses that were a result of the closing of the keystone pipeline. The devastation that green energy regulations have created for access to capital for exploration and drilling, especially with our independent oil producers. Our National Security is jeopardized by stifling domestic production and relying on our foreign adversaries to meet our needs.

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

I believe we’re going to see more development and expansion in the utilization of Hydrogen.

ABOUT YOU

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

No

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

No

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

The role of government is to first protect the people from outside invasion or attack by foreign adversaries. Its role is to provide an organizational framework to ensure the security and stability of the people, allowing them to live freely and independently of one another and ensuring chaos and anarchy does not befall our democratic republic. All while protecting and preserving the individual rights, freedoms and liberties bestowed upon us by our creator and constitution.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.

Strongly Disagree

I absolutely believe we should support, promote and protect our law enforcement from defunding by any municipalities. We should ensure our law enforcement agencies are adequately funded in order to ensure they can protect and serve the communities in which they work.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

I believe we should quit trying to destroy or recreate the second amendment based on emotions. We should protect our citizens constitutional rights to gun ownership. Gun laws only work in harming the people who follow the law, they do nothing to prevent criminal’s from having access and attaining guns.

Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?

Yes

Any teacher that feels comfortable and has had training should be allowed to carry at school. We’ve seen the destruction that the gun free zones have created by allowing assailants the time and opportunity to openly attack vulnerable people.
