QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

I recognize abortion is one of the most difficult and divisive issues in our commonwealth and country. Ultimately, I believe the government should not be able to control the bodies of pregnant Pennsylvanians. When a parent cannot be confident that their doctor will be able to keep them safe during a pregnancy because of government bans, our families suffer. Every Pennsylvanian should have the right to follow their faith and their convictions when making decisions for their families.

Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
