EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

No racism is not a threat. The manipulation of the news cycle to think we have a growing racism threat is the real problem. This was almost a dead issue until they passed the law allowing propaganda to be used on U.S. citizens.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? (Select all that apply) A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost. C) Stricter environmental laws undermine U.S. energy independence and deter development of reliable electricity sources. D) Climate change is real and requires urgent policy action.

A)Some environmental laws are needed, but most that laws we have are absurd. These strict laws in the U.S. are closing our refineries and power plants, which in turn shift our needs to other countries which are polluting our earth more than if we would of keep doing it our self. For example in my life I have personally watched as a big oil tanker was loaded with oil to be shipped half way around the world, to a country that has no emission laws on refineries, to get refined for American needs.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.

Neutral

I agree that something has to be done about the gross misuse of power by certain people under the color of law. I have personally seen their abuse of power and the framing of people and then the hiding of evidence that would prove a persons innocence. I would propose removing the requirement that to run for sheriff that you need to be a police officer for three years. To me this was a removal of a very important check and balance to a corrupt police force.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

No restrictions on gun ownership are acceptable. But I believe we need stronger laws against brandishing a weapon in a threatening manner. It is wrong to me to allow people the use a weapon in a threatening manner and then the police say its their second amendment right to do so.
